“I was away on a work trip and needed someone to walk my husky throughout the week. Katelyn was patient with our crazy husky who likes to pull on the leash. She is great at communicating and was super easy to work with. 10/10 would recommend!”

“10/10 would recommend JP. They are very punctual, communicative, respectful, and Laddie really enjoyed their walks. I was away for most of the day and unable to walk Laddie but JP was able to come by twice and take him for nice long walks. I plan to use JP for dog care services in the future.”

About: I have good experience babysitting cats and dogs of different breeds and personalities . I’m patient, and a loving person. Reliable and responsible person. Also looking to exercise more with a furry companion. I am open to do first meetings :) I’m current between jobs, and waiting for my graduation. Looking to do extra cash meanwhile ☺️ I have time to do walks and feeding visits. My apartment is safe with security all day and night. I live with my cat therefore all risks have been taken away for cat safety.

“Casey is amazing! Simply put are you’re looking for someone you have no worries about being in thousands of miles from your fur babies? You found the person, your search is over.”

About: Hi there! I grew up in a family deeply connected to animal care—my father was a veterinarian working with the animal CDC, and I spent much of my childhood surrounded by animals, even playing in the local zoo thanks to a family friend who was the zoo director! Our family has always had a special bond with dogs, especially our beloved black poodle, and my mom later became a community leader advocating for responsible pet ownership and better dog welfare. With this unique upbringing, I’ve developed a natural ability to understand dogs’ behavior and needs. I connect with them quickly, helping them feel safe, calm, and happy. Though I don’t currently have a pet due to apartment restrictions, I regularly care for my friends’ dogs and cats, taking them on beach trips, car rides, and giving them the love and attention they deserve. I treat every dog like family—with patience, respect, and joy—because I believe every pet deserves not just care, but experiences that make tails wag and hearts full. As a part-time semi-professional violinist, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your furry friend. Since I’m currently living in an apartment that isn’t ideal for having a dog of my own, becoming a pet sitter is the perfect way for me to stay connected with animals I love. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs—not just walking and playing, but also offering them comfort and companionship. Pet care brings me joy and balance, and I see every visit as a chance to create a win-win: your pet gets a loving, attentive sitter, and I get the happiness of being around animals that make life better. At the moment, I’m not offering in-home boarding unless your pup is already comfortable living in an apartment environment. I want to make sure they feel safe and happy here! As for staying in clients’ homes, I generally don’t offer that service for personal safety reasons—though I’ll admit, if your pup is way too cute to resist, I just might make an exception. 😊

About: I grew up in a family of 4 to 6 dogs at a time, with experience house breaking and training. Positive reinforcement, always. Working as an attorney on a contract basis and looking for a little extra cash but also I just genuinely love hanging out with dogs! I can walk, run/light jog, or just hang out with your dog either earlier mornings, late nights, overnights/weekends. I have lots of experience with dogs of all ages as well, puppies and seniors (as old as 15 years old, so I also comfortable handling medications). Also, comfortable with taking care of dogs who are recovering from minor to more invasive surgery. Experience with small and larger dogs/variety of dogs (e.g., cocker spaniel and black lab). I will treat your dog as if they were my own. Currently between jobs so I have a lot of availability until October. I am timely but only use public transport so please take into account; willing to travel up to 1 hour to watch your pup. I live in a pet friendly apartment with a dog park nearby. However, very happy to go wherever, especially if the pup has preferences of walks or places to go!

Downtown dog parents share their Rover experiences
Deven came as a somewhat last minute need when we had to leave town quickly for a funeral. He agreed to a pre-meeting and our dog immediately took to him. He walked her with me the first time as she’s a lot to handle and she immediately respected and listened to him. He was extremely thorough and asked all the right questions. Also very personable and kind. It was a huge relief to know our dog was in good hands. We would 100% use him again.

Ian does such a nice job taking care of our two dogs. He has taken them out for daily walks and covered brief stays while I've traveled. He is flexible, friendly, communicative and accommodating. I trust Ian and know both dogs look forward to their next adventures with him!
