“I’ve been so happy and grateful for the time and attention Davis has given our dog. She gets more exercise than we are able to provide during the day, and just seems generally less anxious. I don’t know why we took so long to take advantage of dog walking help. Considering adding more days just because it’s been so great for her.”

About: Grew up in a farm with tons of animals and dogs and cats, I have over 20 years of experience caring and boarding doggies. They help me a lot with my anxiety and depression and it's a full time job. Available all the time. I work from home so I'm always at home available to watch your baby. They will love making me company and that would be my pleasure. I have a huge fenced yard and I'm always at home. I have a daughter and I do domestic work at home. Animals will help me keep company.

“Mick was great. He came through for me after my initial sitter cancelled last minute. This was my first time using Rover, and Mick made it a smooth, easy process.”

About: I grew up in a family where every house had a dog, so being around them was just part of life. I helped feed them, walk them, and train them from the time I was a kid. Over the years, I picked up on their moods and needs without even thinking about it. It wasn’t just about taking care of dog it was just what we did, and it taught me a lot about responsibility, patience, and how to really connect with animals. I currently have open availability due to taking a break from school at the moment. Right now I have all the time for pet care. I care for pets by keeping their routine consistent, giving them lots of attention, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. With experience from my own cats and growing up around dogs, I’ve learned to read their needs and treat them like family.

About: A little about me: I love both cats and dogs. I fostered a sweet golden retriever for 2.5 years when I lived on the East coast and I miss the loving energy that dogs bring. I’m now a cat mom and I’ve loved the journey. Both have brought much joy into my life. What to expect: I will care for your loved one as if they were mine. I will accommodate to your dog/cat's needs/preferences such as personality traits (shy, social, etc), favorite games, feeding times, and any other reasonable accommodations. I give lots of pets and can take cute pictures (if you’d like!) while you’re away so you can be in on the good times we’re having. Clear communication is important to me, and I appreciate when that goes both ways for the best experience possible. I look forward to meeting you and your furry companion. :) I currently have flexible hours as I’m a part time consultant on weekdays and free on weekends! So I can spend the time needed with your furry friend. :) The care I offer is flexible depending on the need. For drop ins I’m respectful of house rules and appreciate when the owner leaves a list of needs/reminders for me so everything is taken of. For walks, I live near a dog park with dog friendly walking areas. Lots of options!

“Monica and Mack were happily reunited for a walk after a house sit last week. Monica was prompt and gave timely updates on her arrival and departure times, as well as some nice photos of their walk together. I would not hesitate to book her again.”

“Chenyang is excellent with our dog! She stays tuned into him, matching his pace and helping him enjoy his walks despite his health challenges. We rest easy knowing our pup is in good hands!”

About: I am highly available and flexible for dog walks and drop in visits! My family has three big dogs that I miss taking care of and am looking to help others take care of (and show some love to) their own dogs! I am working from home and thus very flexible and able to fit pet care into my daily routine as needed. I also love to walk and recently moved to the area so walking pets is part of my new routine to get to know the neighborhood! In my clients' homes I care for pets with focus, respect, and compassion. It is very important to me that my clients and their pets trust me in their space, and that trust is achieved through professionalism and empathy.

“We are so very grateful to Christina for her expertise. She obviously knows how to make a dog happy and comfortable in the care of a stranger. She was prompt, thoughtful (great photos!) and went, literally, the extra mile.”

“This was my first time using Rover and I’m so glad my first experience was with Regina! She was totally understanding and comfortable with the tools and equipment I use for my dog and took time to understand Roo’s needs before taking her out for the first time. My dog came home from each of the walks tired and happy. I could tell from pictures Roo had a blast with her! I would love to use her again!”

About: I have a ton of experience with all types of animals. I love meeting new pets ! I have training experience as well. Can administer meds and fluids. I will be working from home and have open availability. Willing to work on anyone’s schedule! Just let me know what times and days work for you! I treat everyone’s pets like they are my own! I am dedicated to making sure your pet is safe and has a good time! Your rules are my rules.

About: I have about 30 + years of caring for dogs of all ages. My first dog was a rescue sheep dog that was abused a long time ago ! I currently have a small mixed breed senior dog that I have had since 2013 and he gets two walks daily for his good health ! I treat all dogs that I care for as if they were my own personal pet, because I know that’s how I would want someone else to treat my dog like !

About: With over 12 years of experience caring for dogs, I bring a calm, respectful, and attentive approach to every pup I meet. I started out as a teen, pet sitting for family friends, and quickly became the go-to dog sitter among my own circle as I got older. I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters, gaining experience with dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and temperaments—including seniors and shy rescues. I understand that every dog is different: some need high-energy play and stimulation, while others need a gentle pace and plenty of quiet companionship. I focus on building trust with each dog by meeting them where they are—whether that means tossing a ball in the yard, going for long walks, or simply giving them space and comfort while you're away. I’m currently working remotely part time so I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I’m available for housesitting, drop-in’s, and walking. Whether I’m dropping in, staying overnight, or taking your pet for a walk, their safety and comfort are always my top priority. I take the time to get to know each pet’s routine, personality, and boundaries so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free. I’m attentive to details like locked doors, leash safety, proper feeding, and making sure medications (if needed) are given correctly. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and routines, leaving things just as I found them, and making sure your pets feel secure in their environment. I keep things calm, clean, and consistent, so your pets feel safe and cared for while you’re away.

He is always keenly aware of the environment, especially as there are many coyotes in San Francisco. He is currently caring for our 14 year-old dog he has gently well trained to walk on the leash and respond to commands. His training of our animals has always been confident and gentle, but effective. At present, he is adapting to the subtle changes in our elderly dog and adapting to the dogs needs and changing capabilities. in short, he is everything I would want if I needed someone to walk my dog.”

“Surekha has had an interest and care for animals from childhood. She always loved learning about the different types of breeds of cats and dogs. She and her sister treasured adoption day at our local vet shop. They would help out by comforting, playing with and feeding the animals. We were lucky to live with friends who had five dogs and a cat. Surekha through her own initiative would make sure they were washed, and fed. Her care extended to taking them for walks, and cleaning up after them. She has had her own cat since he was a kitten. He is a friendly cat who is obviously well cared for. Diamond Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
We had a last minute appointment for our ceremony at City Hall and needed someone to look after Sigrun outside while still letting us grab a few photos with her. William responded so quickly, showed he genuinely cared, and made the whole process stress free. He clearly knows how to connect with dogs! Thank you so much for helping us out on our big day!
