Then a co worker recommended Rachael! It only took two days of daycare for my puppy to sprint out of my car into her arms. He is so in love with her and from the videos I see I can see why. He has so much fun and gets so much love from her! It has been such a relief knowing I can work my long shifts and not worry about him being alone or needing to go potty, and most of all he’s with someone I can trust! I love picking him up all tuckered out after my long shifts and being able to all go straight to bed without needing to get extra zoomies out!! My husband and I prioritize keeping your pet happy and comfortable in our care. From morning walks and medication to playful updates and meet-and-greets, we ensure your furry family member gets the love and attention they deserve. We also specialize in tailored care for up to two dogs at a time, focusing on maintaining routines and offering a cozy “dog hotel” experience at our home. Although I work full-time Monday through Thursday, I handle morning walks and medications before I head out at 5:30 am. My husband, Timothy, stays at home with our two children and takes care of all other needs throughout the day. We work together to ensure your pup’s routine is always maintained! We live in a cozy, pet-friendly apartment that we like to think of as a “dog hotel.” It’s perfect for keeping pets safe and comfortable during their stay! Our children (ages 4 and 9) are wonderful with respecting pets' spaces, and we always tailor our care to each dog’s unique needs. For safety, Timothy and I are experienced with oral medications and have a background working with anxious (but non-reactive) dogs.

About: I've had dogs most of my adult life and many cats. Your pet will be loved and played with by me and my two homeschooled, pet loving boys. I'm currently a stay at home mom and I'm homeschooling my children. I'm available most weekdays and some weekends. I'll be home with your pet most of the time. I have a small fenced yard and well behaved pets are welcome in my home. I have two cats. They can be separated from pets we're boarding if needed.

About: I have loved dogs since I was a toddler! My first dog was a golden retriever mix and later I grew up with Yorkies and other small to medium-sized breeds. I currently have one fur-baby (Adonis) and he is a social butterfly! I believe our four-legged companions are family, which is why I'm dedicated to treating them with care and respect so they know they are loved. Adonis has his bedroom (The Doggie Suite) and would love to share his space with happy friends to play with! Working remotely from home allows me to accommodate our fitness goals. Adonis walks at least twice a day (morning and evening) and runs around in the yard in between. We enjoy exploring new and larger spaces throughout Hampton Roads such as various parks, beaches, and other safe & clean areas that promote healthy living. Most of our longer, more adventurous walks take place on the weekends. Due to my current full-time occupation, I am working in the office once per week on Wednesdays only. If you need a visit throughout the week, WEDNESDAYS are the only days I am not physically home for most of the day (8am-6pm). I work remote all other weekdays and I am off on weekends. We have a fenced-in backyard for playtime or potty breaks. I can accommodate any specific routines regarding meals or medication that your loved ones need. Even though we do love music & movement, we keep the volume at a peaceful level and live in a non-smoking atmosphere. Whether your pal enjoys having their own space with quiet time or lots of cuddles with belly rubs, we have just the place they need. We hope you will allow your fur-baby (or fur-babies) to visit us for a relaxation session or an active adventure!

About: Hello, My name is Kari and I currently own 3 amazing cats Trip (10), Atlas (9), and Cayde (4). In the past I have owned a German Shepard - Zoey (RIH). Growing up I had a blue heeler I called Biscuit and tons of cats on the farm. I have plenty of room for your dog to run and play in my fenced in back yard. At my home they will get lots of attention from both myself and my son when he is here. He is currently wanting to get a dog of his own but is in paramedic school so is waiting to finish that before doing so. Should you have any questions just ask. Please note Rover doesn't let you pick specific time frames and it is a time range. Please let me know what your needs are when sending me a message. I work from home on certain days during the week and will only offer care on those days so that I can be with your pet all day. If needed on lunch and weather permitting we can always go for a walk or we can play in the backyard at anytime. If your pet has anxiety they can easily lay next to me while I work. Thus keeping their anxiety at bay. I will be as flexible as I can with your schedule but please also keep in mind I am working around mine as well as I do have a full time job. I will not book with a client unless I can meet their needs. I always want what is best for your pet as they are also out kids. Communication is key. I have a large brand new fenced in back yard. If your pet does not get along with cats they can easily be separated in my home. You can also bring your crate if your pet is crate trained and needs overnight care. We can always talk about any other considerations your pet may need while in my home too. I am here to help you and give your fur baby the care they need! I do not accept more than one dog in my home at a time unless they are in the same family because I want all the pets I care for safe.

About: For 30 years my husband and I have had many cats and 3 years ago we got our first amazing pup. A golden retriever named Nala and now we are officially dog lovers!! We currently have 4 cats. Our experience is mainly taking care of our own animals, but we would like to extend our care and compassion of animals to others as we know how hard it can be to find good quality pet care while being away. We are a family of who loves animals. We have 1 dog and 4 cats. I am currently at home, but have various odd jobs that have me in and out of the home for short period of times so your pup will not be left alone for long periods of time. my husband works from home and is available to help as well. I do not have a fenced in yard, however with my own pup we make sure she gets plenty of exercise by taking her for two walks a day and we have a large field right next to our home to run around and play fetch. If your pup is a runner we accommodate for that and will keep him or her on a leash. We are currently only taking one other pup at a time so book soon!
