“Jen did a great job watching our dog Gretel. We felt very comfortable with her in our home. She walked her 2 times a day, sent pictures and responded quickly with any questions. We are lucky to have found Jen and hope she will come back again!”

“Jessica watched our 3 pups for a night. All 3 have different personalities and unique needs. She provided useful updates and pictures. Will definately use her services again.”

“We’ve got a long list of all the things we loved and appreciated about Jo during her stay with our fur baby. We truly couldn’t feel luckier that we connected with her! Our Brighton can be a bit of a handful but Jo’s confidence, kindness, knowledge, and the genuine excitement she showed made me KNOW that our girl was in the best of hands. Throughout her stay she provided great “pup-dates” with professional quality photos of what they were up to. She also helped out with some tasks around our house which was not expected but incredibly appreciated. We came home to a clean and tidy home and a very thoughtful thank you note with a super cute Polaroid photo. She thanked us but really we owe her all the thanks!! Would love to have her sit for us again in the future. Thanks, Jo!”

“Autumn was amazing with out 2 English setters- she handled medications wonderfully and gave them so much attention and walks! Our neighbor even commented on how great she was. Look forward to using her again!”

“Alex recently stayed at our house to take care of our Cocker (Cooper) as well as tropical fish. Cooper took to her right away. She obviously has a love of dogs. Many walks and pictures. No dead fish! Highly recommended!”

“Kelsey did such an amazing job taking care of our pets when we went away for the weekend! She was very communicative and sent lots of adorable pictures of them - they clearly really took to her. I felt very comfortable with having Kelsey taking care of my animals and also my house. I would absolutely book her again!”

“McKenzie did an absolutely outstanding job taking care of our pets, Mack and Katie, while we were out of town. Mack and Katie were happy, well-fed, and clearly enjoyed the attention and affection McKenzie gave them. She even went the extra mile to ensure the house was tidy and everything was in order when we returned. We couldn’t have asked for a more reliable and loving pet sitter, and we highly recommend her to anyone in need of top-notch care for their furry family members.”

“Elizabeth was phenomenal to work with. She kept us updated and sent plenty of photo updates. She even offered to stay later than originally planned so that our dog didn’t need to spend as much time in her kennel until we returned home. The house was picked up and clean (more than we had left it!) and she even washed the sheets and remade the bed so it was one less thing on our to do list! So thankful to have such an amazing sitter!”

About: I've been a dog owner for 40 years, and was a foster for a few years for MARS. Although I specialize in German Shepherds, I have taken care of just about every type of dog. My housemate, where I currently live, has 2 rescues - one is a lab/Pitbull mix. The other is a Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix. I also dog sit regularly for my daughter's dog (rescue Pitbull mix) and my son's dog (Belgian Malinois). If I have a special skill I guess it would be that I understand rescues. I'm semi-retired and have a very flexible schedule. I'm in the North Metro but I occasionally drive for Lyft, so I'm familiar with the Twin Cities in general. I'm an early riser so if your dog is as well - that's fine with me! The dogs I've cared for get several walks per day - or ball tosses if there is a fenced in yard. For those dogs who get along with others, we love the dog park. We make sure to go potty before bedtime! My dogs get two meals per day - but if yours get three meals, that's fine too. I've taken care of dogs who need daily pills and those which are in heat. I don't need much when staying at your home other than internet. I bring my own food. I prefer longer stays rather than short ones so I can learn the dog's routine.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats of all sizes since I was little. I grew up with animals my whole life. When I turned 13, my neighbors would ask me to take care of their dogs and/or cats when they were gone. Whether it was feeding and letting them out or going on walks and cleaning the cat litter box or even giving them medication. I am currently enrolled at the University of Minnesota majoring in Animal Science / Pre-vet. My summer schedule looks like. I am free on Mondays and Wednesdays all day until 3pm, Sundays are completely open. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturdays are my working/internship days. I can usually squeeze in a visit before and after work! I make sure that my dog is safe and happy at all times, I will hold the same standards for your pets. I am able to crate any dogs that need to be in their crate throughout the day, I can clean up any messes they make.

About: I grew up with large dogs and have dogsat in other people’s homes for eight years. I am very comfortable with dogs of all breeds, ages, medical needs, and personalities. Dogs give me so much joy, and I would be happy to care for yours! I worked remotely for the University of Minnesota, but was unfortunately laid off due to funding cuts. I currently work on a small farm part-time and dog-sit to make extra income. My hours are very flexible. I am happy to provide any dog and house related care (e.g., getting the mail). I comfortable with a dog sleeping in or out of a crate, feeding any food (e.g., raw food diet), giving medications or performing procedures (I am a certified EMT), and providing exercise (e.g., walking, hiking, fetch, swimming).

“Melanie was great with my two dogs and cat! She gave them all the attention they needed!! lots of love, time, attention and play! They were her top priority for the whole week! She also sent pics and updates.”
