About: Hello! My Name is Abe, and I am the biggest dog lover. I have been around small dogs (10 pounds) up to large dogs (100+ pounds). I have owned and fostered dogs for the past 8 years. I have a Golden Retriever named Stella, she is almost 4 years old. She is very playful, loves other dogs and listens very well. I plan on taking many walks, and also cuddling/playing with all the dogs I care for. I ask that you provide your own leash and collar, and any toys your pet loves. I do live in an apartment, however we have a doggy play area, wash station, and a few parks around the area. Very flexible hours and rules as well. Stella loves other dogs and is very friendly. About: In my 33 years of life I have always had a pet. Whether they were pets I grew up with or pets that I've owned personally. I take the responsibility seriously and genuinely believe animals are the greatest gift from nature. For the first time in my life I don't have a pet that I'm currently caring for and would love to offer my home as a safe and loving place for anyone that needs a dog sitter. I'm most familiar with large or extra large breeds but love them all equally. I currently work full time 730 to 4 pm but have the ability to stop home during the day. I'm a home body that enjoys taking walks and resting on the couch watching a documentary. I'm a very routine by the book type A personality so making sure they are fed and exercised is something that would bring me great fulfillment. I'm also an extremely affectionate person and would not mind cuddles eith your pup if they want it. I have a fenced dog park with a lock so that is where potty breaks will be taken. I can also run them by throwing a ball or stick or we can go on walks along the rum river as I live in downtown Anoka.

About: My dogs have always been very high needs growing up, so I have a lot of experience working with different diets, medications, and needs. I'm an athlete, so I can take them out for long periods of time to get exercise as needed, which can be really helpful for hyperactive dogs who have to be cooped up during the day. I'm also entirely capable of caring for senior dogs, I can take things at their pace and make sure they're comfortable and happy. I am currently a full time college student, but I have a lot of open time either between classes or after them. I commute to the Twin Cities from the suburbs, so I can easily travel wherever I am needed to be able to check in on or take care of your furry friends. Being in the cities with my own car I can take dogs out for walks around the lakes or down some of the trails nearby so they (and I) can get some proper exercise before my classes. When caring for pets, I always make sure they are getting plenty of time to move around, especially if I'm just dropping in to check on them, but regardless of the need. I like to keep a checklist of what I need to get done, as well as just having a bit of time to play with or pet them. I can take pets out for walks on foot or with my roller skates, which lets me go longer distances with them. I make sure to clean up any messes I might make, putting everything back as I found it and keeping things nice and tidy for when you get home again. I'm confident staying in new places, and can make sure everything stays safe in your home or space during my time there.

I’ve also had experience with special conditions such as giving medication and caring for pets who are ill.
