About: I've had dogs my whole life! My current living situation does not allow animals. Honestly, I am joining Rover to get some dog time and earn some extra cash! I love animals, but have a special place in my heart for dogs and their sweet personalities! I have been dog sitting and walking for friends and family for over 7 years independently. I am currently working full-time! I am most free to walk pups early in the morning, in the evening, or on the weekends! I am flexible and very communicative! I moved out from home recently and am really missing my family dogs, so anytime with your dog will be just as fun for me as it is for them! I am a very responsible, able-bodied individual who loves to walk or run with dogs depending on your desire for your pup! I have been pet and home sitting since I was 15, I've never had a bad experience, and love to leave a place and pup better and happier than I found them!
About: I’ve been around dogs & cats my entire life. I volunteer at the animal shelter where I walk, feed, and love the animals. It’s safe to say your pet will get plenty of love and affection from me. I’m currently working full-time, but I have plenty of time for evening walks on the weekdays and full availability on the weekends. I will always make time for a furry friend! I live near plenty of walking trails and LOVE being outside with the animals. We do have 2 cats at home and we are unsure how they get along with other cats & dogs. Due to this, we are unable to care for pets at our home.

About: I have been taking care of my own dog as well as friends, families, and neighbors dogs. I love everything to do with all animals. I am currently studying during the year to get a degree in animal studies! I am comfortable and empathetic will all kinds of dogs. I am also comfortable with giving medication as needed. I am currently home for the summer from college and looking for some work! I love all animals and thought this would be perfect for me as I have a very free schedule for the next few months! I am comfortable with staying in your home with your fur babies as well as letting them out, walking them, and providing play time! If they stay in a crate I am also comfortable with taking them out and getting them back in! I can be very accommodating to each fur baby depending on what they need I will do my best to care for all of them as if they were my own!

“This was our first time having a "stranger" come take care of our adult (50lb) and puppy (70lb) pitbulls that are our "children." Melanie was kind enough to come for a meet-and-greet, and we were so pleasantly surprised by how quickly she scooped them both into her arms and embraced them with all their endless kisses - this is when we knew! She truly cared for them just as well, if not better than we do! Melanie did all these small but very special things we didn't expect, and we were grateful to return to happy furbabies and the cutest pictures of them, and I am quite sure a cleaner home than what I left it (thank you!!). This was a short notice booking, about 2 weeks' notice, and I'm just so happy it worked out - we feel very lucky! If we get a chance to go on a vacation again in the future, we will be reaching out to Melanie again :)”
