Melanie was kind enough to come for a meet-and-greet, and we were so pleasantly surprised by how quickly she scooped them both into her arms and embraced them with all their endless kisses - this is when we knew! She truly cared for them just as well, if not better than we do! Melanie did all these small but very special things we didn't expect, and we were grateful to return to happy furbabies and the cutest pictures of them, and I am quite sure a cleaner home than what I left it (thank you!!). This was a short notice booking, about 2 weeks' notice, and I'm just so happy it worked out - we feel very lucky! If we get a chance to go on a vacation again in the future, we will be reaching out to Melanie again :)”

“Alexa, was truly amazing!! She had a lot to deal with I have an 11 year old and a 1 year old lab so that in its self takes a lot of work but she was always positive sent me pictures and kept me updated daily…even when my Christmas tree fell over in the middle of the night! ?. She took charge and did what she needed to do to rectify any situation that came up! My lab can also be timid with new people and within an hour of her being at my house, I had a picture of him completely snuggling with Alexa! I seriously, can’t say enough on how amazing Alexa is!!!”

About: I’m an animal lover, and being away from my sister’s pup, I love to take care of animals whenever I can! I have taken care of a wide range of dogs including those needing oral medication, caring for dogs who are older, blind, and deaf. I have also dogsat for dogs on the other side of the spectrum that need multiple walks a day and are full of energy! I’m currently a full time student at CSU, so I would ideally love to hang with your pups on the weekends! I can also be available during the week, but I will be bouncing between class and ensuring your dog gets all the care they need. I grew up with a dog in the house who was a rescue pup and crate-trained! I prefer to be home as much as I can with clients’ dogs and taking them on runs or walks. I’m also totally down to relax with your pup (especially the older ones), really whatever they need!

I’ve raised and trained my own Lab (now 10), so I understand how important it is for dogs to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a way that’s consistent with what they’re used to. I naturally pay attention to each dog’s personality and energy. Some love long walks and playtime, while others just want a calm presence and a little extra comfort—and I’m happy to meet them exactly where they’re at. Building trust with animals is really important to me, and I try to create an environment where they feel relaxed and at ease. Right now I have a very flexible weekday schedule, so I’m able to give your pet plenty of time, attention, and care. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, or just spending time keeping them company, I’ll make sure they’re well taken care of and sticking to their normal routine. I’m comfortable following whatever works best for your pet—crating, free roaming, feeding schedules, medications, or training. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone, and I take that seriously. As I continue on Rover, I’d love to eventually offer boarding and build long-term relationships with both pets and their owners. I’d love to meet you and your dog! I have a super flexible schedule right now, which allows me to give plenty of time and attention to your pet. About: Growing up on a hobby farm gave me experience with,and love for, a wide range of animals. I have a great deal of experience with cats and dogs, but also a long list of farm and exotic animals. In my circle, I tend to be the person that people call for help or knowledge with their fur babies. I am experienced and comfortable administering oral, topical, inhaled, and injected medications. I am well versed in first aid/wound care and am CPR certified. I own my own business so I am able to be flexible with my hours to accommodate all of my clients and their fur babies needs. Attention to detail and communication is important to me. So when I am caring for a furry family member in your home or out on a walk I am sure to follow all direction given. In addition, I will always provide you with updates and check ins on how your fur baby is doing.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a while as I have two of my own! I will treat your dogs like I would my own! I work full time but my work is very flexible as well so I can fit around your schedule. We can definitely discuss more options for the schedule. I have two dogs of my own that I care for and I have a routine where I take them out every morning and feed them and take them for walks and just spend quality time. I can easily adapt to your dogs routine and treat them as my own.
