“Tiffany is calm with my anxious Bernese Mountain Dog, knowledgeable about many stages of dog health, prompt, and perfect help for my 3 pups, age 11, 2, and 1 ❤️🐾. Thank you Tiffany!”

“My first time on this pet sitting app and with Amy. I highly recommend it and her. I make a mistake in booking dates and she was very understanding and accommodating. Way beyond expectations. She took great care of my dog and I loved getting the thorough updates.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13. Recently, I lost my dog Theo. During my time caring for him, I would feed, bath, and in his later years, administer medication. I love and care for him deeply and am hoping I will also get the opportunity to do the same for you and your pets. I work mornings the majority of the week. I will be able to drop in to feed, let out, or take your pet on a short walk anytime after noon! I am comfortable with taking dogs out in a fenced yard or on a leash, when it comes to in house care, I can use a code, or whatever is preferred for you!
“Katie is amazing! This is her second time helping with our dogs and she is great with them. She makes sure your pet gets lots of love and treats and is very good at communication. Will definitely use her again!”

About: I have grown up with pets all my life, and even went to Vet Tech school for 1 year. I had a diabetic cat so I am familiar with giving medicine and injections. I work full time from home during the day. I take breaks every hour or so. We are typically home in the evening and weekends to love and play with your animals as well as our own. I have a fenced in back yard and a playful dog to keep your fur baby company while you are away. My dog no longer needs to be kenneled when I am away or at night. I can accommodate whatever you are most comfortable with.
“Allison did a great job taking care of our pup Lucy. We got so many pictures of Lucy having a great time with Allison. It made our vacation so much nicer knowing Lucy was in good hands.”

About: I have a bit more varied experience than some. When I was young, we had a veritable zoo, and I haven't stopped having animals since. I've never not had a dog and was made responsible for over 30 miniature horses whenever their owner needed it. I also have experience with ferrets, cats, parakeets, parrots, and lizards. I will say if you need to look after something more exotic (and demanding) we would need to talk first. My dog is also quite old and has a lot of health problems, so I am familiar with handling these. I work Mondays from 12-7 and Tuesdays through Thursday I work 10-4. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I have mostly open availability with the exception that I occasionally have work events. Each animal is different, and so I would strive to find that balance with your dog. Every dog plays a bit different or might need their food handled differently. While I can't take animals into my home at the present, I will strive to be as careful with meeting their needs as I do my own pup at home.
“Kacey did the most amazing job taking care of our 3 dogs!! We never leave our dogs, and Kacey made us feel so comfortable with them being in her care. She took great care of them, they loved her so much, and we really enjoyed her updates and pictures! She was also very flexible with us and was able to make a couple of last minute changes in drop - in visits! We can’t wait to use Kacey again!”
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, and they have always been a big part of my family. I currently have a sweet Yorkie Poo and a gentle Newfoundland, and I truly believe every dog has their own personality, needs, and little quirks that make them special. I have over 5 years of professional dog grooming experience, which has taught me so much about dog behavior, body language, handling, and how to make dogs feel comfortable and safe. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors in all sizes. I also have experience with dogs who need extra patience and care, including dogs recovering from procedures and blind dogs. Besides walks, daycare, and boarding, I can also offer basic maintenance care, such as brushing, baths, nail trimming and grinding, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing, feet - paw and face trimming. I love going on long walks (usually two one-hour walks a day with my own dogs), and I’d love to give your pup the same attention, exercise, and care while you’re away. My goal is for your dog to feel comfortable, loved, and cared for like they’re part of the family. Our day includes two long walks, usually around 8:30 AM and 5 PM to avoid peak heat. We enjoy walks, park visits, playtime, cuddles and enrichment activities throughout the day. I provide a safe, calm home environment with supervision throughout the day. I’m home most of the time, offer structured walks and playtime, and have crates available if dogs need quiet time or separation. While I don’t have a fenced yard, dogs receive plenty of outdoor exercise through secure walks and nearby park visits. I also have experience handling different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities.

I love long walks on trails and neighborhoods, giving kisses while watching the sunset, and all about fine-dining treats! I work from home so I have the flexibility to care for your pets! I am active as well as love being a couch potato. I can take long or short walks (I need my steps!!) I am consistent and flexible! I have cared for many pets throughout my life, I am alert to any issues, and I am strong for those heavy pullers on a leash
“Sarah was excellent at taking care of Coco. On her visits, she made sure Coco got her walks and play time that Coco enjoys, and kept us in the loop with plenty of pictures, and they have grown a good bond…..so thank you Sarah.”

“Greta is the kindest and most thoughtful dog sitter. She was so thorough and went above and beyond. She was such a great help and I felt very confident leaving my dog in her care.”
“April was my first Rover feeder and I couldn’t have been happier. She went the extra mile (brought in packages, sent pictures, gave pets) and communicated amazingly. I will be remembering her services for next time.”

About: I have had 4 dog companions during my life. Currently Lola (4) and Piper (5) are my babies! Gentle labs with people and other dogs! My house is very pet friendly. I have 2 labs that are very friendly, gentle and accepting
About: My name is Corrie and I love animals, I have 2 cats, 2 dogs and 2 kids. They mean so much to me. I have a passion for caring for animals of all kinds. I love going for walks with my dogs. I have a big yard that's 2.5 acres and we roam around the whole thing. Some of it's long grass so I will check for ticks. I cut or file my own dogs nails as well and can offer that if needed depending how well the dog or cat does. I work full time but work from home some days of the week, Wednesdays and Fridays. We are available in evenings and weekends. Especially in the winter. We have a large yard. Most of the time we let the dogs out on a 50 foot leash for quick potty breaks. Rocky is allowed to roam a little. Otherwise we walk the dogs around the yard or neighborhood. Have a large crate when needed.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy. I’ve looked after dogs for family, friends, and neighbors, helping with walks, feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of love and attention. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I’ll do everything I can to make sure both you and your furry friend feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me flexibility to provide dependable care for your pet. My availability varies by the week, but I’m happy to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting whenever my schedule allows. I’ll always communicate clearly about my availability and make sure your pet gets the attention and care they deserve. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet and your home. I’ll always follow your pet’s routine, respect your home, and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
