About: I’ve always loved being around animals, especially dogs, and I’m doing this because I genuinely enjoy caring for them and meeting new furry friends. I’ve helped take care of puppies in my family, I currently have an elderly husky, and I’ve also had a very high-energy malamute, so I’m used to different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I do consulting and work from home on my own schedule, so dogs staying with me get plenty of attention, potty breaks, and supervision throughout the day. I also have a fenced-in yard for safe outdoor time. Since I have my own dog, I’m careful about making sure everyone is comfortable. My husky is older and spends most of the day sleeping and relaxing, and my multi-level home gives me the option to keep dogs separated if needed. I love to run, so I can tire your dog out! I’m an army veteran, so I take reliability and responsibility seriously, but I’m also just someone who really enjoys spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe and cared for. I do consulting and work from home on my own schedule, so pet care fits easily into my day. Dogs staying with me can get regular potty breaks, attention, walks, yard time, and supervision throughout the day. I’m able to adjust care based on each dog’s routine, energy level, and needs. In my home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable, supervised, and safe. I have a fenced-in yard for outdoor time, and I can keep dogs separated if needed because I have a multi-level home. My own dog is an elderly husky who mostly likes to sleep and relax, but I’m still careful with introductions and making sure everyone has space. I follow owner instructions closely, including feeding, potty schedules, walks, medications, crate routines, and any special needs or quirks.

About: I have grown up around animals and have always adored how wonderful companions they are. I grew up taking care of family members dogs when they went on vacations, which gave me early experience with feeding, walking, and general care. I also have some experience with cats from having one when I was younger and helping care for a few friends and family members cats over the years. I am comfortable helping with basic cat care such as feeding, litter box cleaning, and spending time with them. I have my own dog, Hadley, an 8 year old golden retriever. She is very spunky, sometimes a troublemaker, but very sweet. She loves walks and I have walked her for years and really enjoy doing so. Caring for her has helped me build strong experience with daily routines and understanding a dog’s needs. Within the past year, I started working at a shelter where I take care of dogs, including some with aggression and fear issues due to neglect and other reasons. I feed them, walk them, clean up after them, play with them, and give them love and attention while they wait to be adopted. That experience has taught me how to be around different types of dogs, adapt to their needs, and make sure our furry friends are always loved and cared for. I take pride in being reliable, attentive, and patient when caring for animals. I always treat pets as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Pet care fits very easily into my daily and weekly routine because my schedule is very flexible and open during the week. I am available throughout weekdays, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. On weekends, my availability is more occasional, but I am still open to working them depending on the need and advance notice. I am reliable with time management and make sure I plan ahead so I can consistently show up on time and give each pet the attention they need. Overall, having a flexible schedule allows me to be dependable and available for pet care while still maintaining balance with my other commitments. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize their safety, comfort, and normal routine. I make sure to follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, playtime, and any specific care needs for each pet. For home sitting, I focus on keeping pets calm and comfortable in their own environment, making sure they get consistent attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. For drop-in visits, I make sure all essential needs are met, including feeding, bathroom breaks, cleaning up if needed, and spending time with the pet so they feel cared for and not alone. For dog walking, I make sure walks are safe, controlled, and appropriate for each dog’s energy level and behavior. I also pay close attention to each pet’s personality and comfort level, especially with animals that may be shy, anxious, or require extra patience. I have experience working with different types of dogs from my time at a shelter, which has helped me stay calm, observant, and adaptable. In addition, I respect the client’s home by keeping everything clean, secure, and exactly as I found it. About: Though I’m new to Rover, I've watched animals for friends, family, and employers for the past 10 years and would love to chat with you to see if I can help you with yours. As a former receptionist at an emergency vet clinic and with extensive experience with my own fur babies, I'm very aware of the health risks to both cats and dogs and have training in recognizing signs of distress. I will work with you to establish an emergency plan beforehand if you are going on extended trips. I also have experience with several vets in the area and even bringing animals to the animal chiropractor. I know that every animal's personality is unique, and routines are important for managing stress. My goal is to be that trustworthy, consistent, and dependable addition to your animal's care team. We always had multiple cats and dogs at one time in my family home growing up. They were more than my animals; they were my brothers and sisters and beloved friends. I've loved and cared for 3 of my cats and 2 of my dogs into their senior years and through medical complications. I have experience with administering medications, including insulin to cats, animals with arthritis, and care after major procedures. I currently have open availability during weekdays M-F. I'm here to provide weekday support via check-ins and walks for busy families, as well as support with home visits if you are on vacation. I do work weekends, so my availability over weekends is limited. I respect all house rules and work with you to get every detail of care, big or small. You set how many updates you’d like to receive when away, but it’s standard for me to write a document of all activity and behavior after each of my visits for you and your vet to reference at any time. I’m happy to do initial home visits to make sure care works for us both.

About: As animal enthusiasts, your pets happiness and health is our passion! Your pet will receive personalized care and attention just as it does when home with you (no kenneling here). Walks, belly rubs, playing/chasing after balls, brushing, relaxing, all come with no extra charge! We understand how stressful a kennel environment can be on your pet, especially smaller and older dogs. Most often your dog will be the only dog that stays with us when visiting. I take special care in making sure the dogs are compatible. Even though we don't have a fenced in yard, your dog will be personally walked by me many times throughout the day. I know when your dog has gone to the bathroom and not left unsupervised outside for hours (or with other dogs). Why your Pet will love it here: -it's a calm/relaxed home environment, they will feel safe (no stress of other dogs) -they will get LOTS of attention all throughout the day (I'm home all day) and feel loved -same routine as home (feeding, walks, potty breaks) so they know what to expect We are animal lovers so we enjoy pet care, we have 3 cats. We enjoy having dogs visit and stay with us, it gives us the opportunity to help families who need care for their beloved pet and a chance for us to pamper a dog for a few days and enjoy them! We do not have any dogs so it’s most likely your dog will be the only one staying with us, we like calm, low key environments so your dog can be relaxed and feel safe.
