“Erin was so detailed and a great communicator! We loved all of the info and she did great if there were questions or if something came up! We felt our pets were in great hands with her and her daughter. Our pets also loved them! Would definitely rebook!”

“Thank you so for taking care of the kitties! Even if they didn’t come out all the time, we knew they were well taken care of and safe. Also thank you for bringing in the unexpected early chewy box delivery!”

About: My name is Corrie and I love animals, I have 2 cats, 2 dogs and 2 kids. They mean so much to me. I have a passion for caring for animals of all kinds. I love going for walks with my dogs. I have a big yard that's 2.5 acres and we roam around the whole thing. Some of it's long grass so I will check for ticks. I cut or file my own dogs nails as well and can offer that if needed depending how well the dog or cat does. I work full time but work from home some days of the week, Wednesdays and Fridays. We are available in evenings and weekends. Especially in the winter. We have a large yard. Most of the time we let the dogs out on a 50 foot leash for quick potty breaks. Rocky is allowed to roam a little. Otherwise we walk the dogs around the yard or neighborhood. Have a large crate when needed.
“Mary was fantastic to work with! We needed help since we were on a time crunch and so was so kind and thoughtful when we met with her prior to our scheduled drop in visits. Ryder had a great time with here as well!”

“Amanda was so amazing. She really cared about our puppy and even went above and beyond carrying our puppy up the stairs since she had just gotten spayed. Lily really loved Amanda!!!!!!!”

“Jackie is a great with our dogs! This is our second time having her watch our dogs and she is professional and reliable. I was able to really unplug knowing that she was checking in on my dogs. Thanks Jackie!”

“McKenzie always takes such great care with our senior kitty and goes out of her make to make a connection with her. We feel at ease when she sits for Jemma because we know she is in great hands!”

“Macaroni, my crazy hound loves Amber! They have had a couple play dates and great walks! She will be staying with Macaroni for a few days coming up and I am not worried a bit! I know she’s in great hands! So glad we found her!”

“Nichole has been great! She is very friendly and responsive. I enjoy the report cards I get from her visits. It’s comforting knowing that my kiddos are getting checked on each day by someone caring. Having Nichole stop by takes a lot of stress off my shoulders while I’m at work all day. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 14 years, and they have always held a special place in my heart. I have a dog of my own who is the center of my world, so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pet while you’re away. I’ve never met a dog I didn’t love. One of my favorite parts of pet sitting is getting to know each dog’s unique personality. Whether your pup is full of energy and ready to play or prefers a quiet afternoon filled with belly rubs and companionship, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at and give them the care they deserve. My drop-in visits are about more than just letting your dog outside or filling a food bowl. I believe every dog deserves quality time, attention, and enrichment. During my visits, I’m happy to play fetch, go for walks, spend time cuddling, or bring treat puzzles and other mentally stimulating activities to keep them engaged. For high-energy dogs, I’m more than willing to help them burn off some energy through play and exercise so they feel happy and fulfilled. I know leaving your pet can be stressful, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I treat every dog as if they were my own with patience, kindness, and genuine love. My goal is for you to come home to a dog who felt safe, cared for, and loved while you were away. I understand that every dog is different, which is why I tailor each visit to their individual needs and routine. Whether they need extra potty breaks, a long game of tug, quiet companionship, or simply someone to sit with them while you’re gone, I’m here to provide dependable care and lots of affection. At the end of the day, I don’t see this as just a job. I truly love spending time with dogs. Building trust with them and giving owners peace of mind is the best part of what I do, and I’d be honored to care for your furry family member. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. As a full-time online college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable drop-in visits throughout the day. I take pride in being punctual and making sure every visit is focused on giving your dog the care, attention, exercise, and affection they deserve, not just a quick potty break. I love building relationships with the dogs I care for and making them feel comfortable while their family is away. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand that entering someone else’s home requires trust, and I treat both your pet and your home with the utmost respect. During each visit, I’ll carefully follow your instructions, refresh water, provide meals or medications if needed, ensure your dog gets plenty of potty breaks, exercise, and affection, and always double-check that doors and gates are secure before leaving. I know every dog has different needs, so I tailor each visit to their personality. Whether that’s a game of fetch, a walk, enrichment with treat puzzles, or simply spending quiet time together so they feel safe and loved until you return.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
