“Oh my goodness, Sophia and Travis were so awesome with everything! I loved the videos and pictures they sent us, while we were on vacation. He looked like he had such a great time. Lots of friends to play with. We will definitely be using them again.”

“Shari and her family made our dog feel so at home during his stay! We appreciated the frequent updates and photos. We will definitely ask them to take care of our pup again in the future 😄”

“Fantastic week! We left our five month old bloodhound puppy in good hands. She was happy (and exhausted) when we picked her up, David was communicative and professional throughout the process. Will definitely come back next time!”

“Zoey has her first stay Alicia this weekend and everything was perfect! Romeo and Zoey were fast buddies and Alicia even let Zoey sleep on her bed! We will be making frequent stays with her?”
“Kristi went above and beyond for our little guy, Bear! We received many updates with pictures and videos during his weekend stay that made us feel comforted. We will definitely book with her again!”
“Sami is older and Katie makes sure that she's taken care of. A good sign Is that sami is eating all of her food. She won't eat if she's nervous about her surroundings.”

“My active pup was taken care of with such patience and understanding. They took her for a lot of walks and play. Corrie should be a dog trainer as my pup really listened to her. She had great advice for me also as a new dog owner.”

“This was our 1st time leaving our pup Dixie with Kyle and his wonderful family, but hopefully not the last! We felt so at ease knowing she was in great hands with Kyle, and not in a cramped kennel at a boarding facility. Thank you again, Kyle, for taking such great care of Dixie! We’ll be back!😁”

“Andrea was great! We would highly recommend if you have a high energy dog. She was the first one to ever care for our baby. At the time he was an 11 month old, in tact, Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix. He is A LOT to handle. We got daily updates and pictures which was awesome. He appeared to be having the time of his life and not missing us at all. She allows her dogs on the furniture but we don’t. We asked her to keep him on the floor. We received pictures where her dog was on the furniture but ours was on the floor. We appreciated not having to retrain him.”

“Always dependable. When I secure a spot for Murphy he gets more than just daycare....he gets authentic love and guidance and comes home calm and relaxed. I appreciate the dog socialization Murphy gets from many Rover homes but in this home he gets the individual human attention I can't always provide him as they don't take many pets at a time. I really appreciate these two dog lovers!”

“Derek and his family were wonderful caregivers for our dog Zoey for 10 days. Zoey came home happy and healthy and it was apparent she adores Derek! We are so grateful and will use Derek again in the future.”

“Amanda was really good with Hazel. Made her feel at home and she was very attentive to Hazel, with playing with her dog and others, she had such a good time! Hazel was a very tired dog when she came home from all the attention and activity. We will definitely rebook with Amanda again.”

“Maverick had a great time and even met a new doggie friend! Michelle sent pics which was cute. Excellent communication and we think Maverick would love to see her again!”

“Bruce was professional and friendly. We felt comfortable leaving our little guy in his care. Bruce sent pics while away and went the extra mile with our dogs new meds. We appreciate this new connection.”

“Tanya went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule with hers and communicated very well. We knew right away that our pup was in good hands after meeting her and Yuzu was well cared for and active her entire stay! The pics and regular updates were greatly appreciated as well. We will definitely use Tanya again!”

“Jordon and Melisa are wonderful, and their kids are very sweet with our pup! First time finding sitters for our “new to us” golden and I knew she would have such a great time with this family. I think she’s bored at home now! Jordon and Melisa sent photos and updated multiple times and I know our sweet girl was in great hands.”

“Meg was amazing with our Jasper! We could tell he had a great time with her and got his own little vacation while we were on ours! She was great at communicating with us and kept us updated every day on how he was doing! I was able to fully relax and put my mind at ease seeing the cute picture updates on his adventures throughout the day and knowing that he was being loved and well taken care of while we were away!”

“Sophan was wonderful!! She sent pictures every day and kept me informed on what he was doing. Dudley was so tired when I bought him home because he had so much fun! I will definitely use Sophan again when we need someone to watch Dudley!”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
