About: I’m comfortable caring for cats and understand that they all have different personalities- I've had very social cats and have one very shy cat now who will keep to herself. Some want attention right away, some want playtime, and others need space and time to warm up. I’m patient with shy cats and won’t force interaction if they’d rather keep to themselves. I’m happy to follow their normal routine, including feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, medication instructions if needed, and any little preferences that help them feel comfy while away.

About: I have a lot of experience with cats in particular. I've fostered and rescued tiny kittens, some of whom required bottle-feeding. I've also loved and cared for cats into their senior years and through medical complications. I have experience with administering medications, including insulin to cats, cats with arthritis, and care after major procedures. I love how each of their personalities is so different, and they absolutely have their preferences. I respect all cats and especially love the grumpy and spicy ones. I am always checking litter boxes for healthy potties, water intake, and whether they are eating. I know they can get stressed by change!

I let their dog outside to go to the bathroom and when they are done I play with them for a little bit. I currently have three dogs, a black lab mix, a yellow lab mix and a papillon-jack russel. About: Growing up, my parents frequently relied on me to take care of our rat terriers while they were at work - this includes feeding them, taking them out for potty breaks before/ after school, playing with them, etc. Because I’ve been around rat terriers I’m very familiarized with their personalities and high energy levels. I also have experience walking pitbulls and Great Pyrenees breeds, as my boyfriends parents used to own both breeds and I would walk them frequently (: - I also have experience with giving medications to dogs; one of my rat terriers has bad seasonal allergies and receives medication (a liquid) daily with his dinner. Another one of my rat terriers suffered from seizures and would have to receive medication with her food as well. I am comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and needs. I understand the importance of maintaining consistent routines and ensuring pets feel safe and cared for. I’m currently working a full time job, however I don’t start work until 2:45pm everyday (off days are Fridays and Saturdays). When I work Sunday-Thursday I’m available to drop in at least one early morning, I can do another drop in in the early afternoon, and another drop in when I get off if needed (I get off at 11pm). On my days off - Friday and Saturdays - I can do numerous drop ins throughout the day. Anytime between early morning to late night. I have two cats of my own. Both are tabby cats, but they have very different personalities. Bean, who is an orange long haired cat, is very skittish, loves to play, enjoys pets but hates being picked up. While Franklin, is a grey short hair, loves cuddles, being next to his people, and would rather play with Bean than his humans. We got Franklin when he was 8 weeks old from my boyfriend’s brother and we fostered then adopted Bean when he was 12 weeks old (about 6 months after getting Franklin). We discovered Franklin loves going outside, so we bought him a cat harness and leash and frequently take him on walks (: Bean is too skittish for this, but he loves to play inside with toy mice and springs (ESPECIALLY springs, those are his favorite 😅)
About: I used to pet sit for neighbors growing up so I've been watching pets as long as I can remember. I am a huge dog & cat lover and have lots of extra love to give. I have 1 dog Scooby who keeps me sane in between working my full time job at a 911 center. I have a rotating schedule so it changes week to week unfortunately. After January i'll be more consistent being available during the evening, but for right now I'm working a mid shift so days off rotate or am only available in the morning. He appeared to be having the time of his life and not missing us at all. She allows her dogs on the furniture but we don’t. We asked her to keep him on the floor. We received pictures where her dog was on the furniture but ours was on the floor. We appreciated not having to retrain him.”

“Amy did a lovely job taking care of my dog for 4 nights while I was out of town! This was my first experience using Rover and it was a great introduction. Amy was professional and easy to contact, and sent photos and updates daily. She has a great and professional setup and I knew my pup had lots of opportunities to socialize with the other dogs, sprint around, rest, lay in the sun, cuddle, and eat some treats. Amy was also very easily able to accommodate for my dog’s allergy to chicken and gave him some oral medication from our vet. Amy was a gem and we will definitely be back the next time I need a sitter :)”

When I need a sitter again, Sadie will return to Sophan.”
