About: I own 2 cats of my own (and one is an orange cat so I totally understand orange cat behavior 😳), so I’m familiarized with playing with cats, feeding them, and scooping litter. I also used to care for my family cat; I ended up being his main caretaker once he became about 13 years old due to his connection to me. He unfortunately passed away when he was 17 years old, however some things I would do to help him in his elderly ages (in addition to basic cat care) were: mix/ breakup his dry food with his wet food for better eating, wash his feet daily (due to him not being able to properly clean them), help him onto the bed when he wanted to nap, made him his own comfy bean bag bed that was accessible to him when I wasn’t home, etc.

About: I’m comfortable caring for cats and understand that they all have different personalities- I've had very social cats and have one very shy cat now who will keep to herself. Some want attention right away, some want playtime, and others need space and time to warm up. I’m patient with shy cats and won’t force interaction if they’d rather keep to themselves. About: I have had dogs my whole life. I have a Pug and a Small Munsterlander so all types of breeds are welcome. I am a regular sitter/walker for yorkies and labs. I am a teacher who is open all summer long. I am home all day along with most weekends being free as well. My kids are also home all day to play with the dogs! I have a fenced in yard where the dogs can play. I also have two friendly dogs. I can crate dogs if that is what they are used to. My house does have steps off of the main level but they are blocked with a baby gate. I love to walk so taking them out is also an option.

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have always had a deep love for them. When I was little, I had a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Bravo and a Tortoiseshell cat named Jayden who were a huge part of my childhood. Bravo was very protective of me when I was a baby and young girl, and Jayden was my playful little companion… we would spend hours playing together and just being in our own world. I currently have an English Springer Spaniel that I’ve had for 7 years, and caring for him has given me a lot of hands-on experience and responsibility. I’ve also participated in dog shows and have experience with showmanship, training him and working with him especially when he was a puppy, which taught me a lot about consistency, patience, and understanding dog behavior. My daily routine includes multiple walks a day, feeding, grooming, bath time when needed, and making sure he’s happy, active, and well cared for. Because of this, I’m very comfortable with dogs of all energy levels and personalities. I’m reliable, attentive, and I genuinely enjoy being active and spending time outside, so walks and drop-in visits feel natural for me. I always treat every dog like they’re my own and make their comfort and safety my top priority. I currently don’t have a fixed job schedule, as I may be called in for a golf cart girl position in mid-July or mid-August. About: Growing up, my parents frequently relied on me to take care of our rat terriers while they were at work - this includes feeding them, taking them out for potty breaks before/ after school, playing with them, etc. Because I’ve been around rat terriers I’m very familiarized with their personalities and high energy levels. I also have experience walking pitbulls and Great Pyrenees breeds, as my boyfriends parents used to own both breeds and I would walk them frequently (: - I also have experience with giving medications to dogs; one of my rat terriers has bad seasonal allergies and receives medication (a liquid) daily with his dinner. Another one of my rat terriers suffered from seizures and would have to receive medication with her food as well. I am comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and needs. I understand the importance of maintaining consistent routines and ensuring pets feel safe and cared for. I’m currently working a full time job, however I don’t start work until 2:45pm everyday (off days are Fridays and Saturdays). When I work Sunday-Thursday I’m available to drop in at least one early morning, I can do another drop in in the early afternoon, and another drop in when I get off if needed (I get off at 11pm). On my days off - Friday and Saturdays - I can do numerous drop ins throughout the day. Anytime between early morning to late night. I have two cats of my own. Both are tabby cats, but they have very different personalities. Bean, who is an orange long haired cat, is very skittish, loves to play, enjoys pets but hates being picked up. While Franklin, is a grey short hair, loves cuddles, being next to his people, and would rather play with Bean than his humans. We got Franklin when he was 8 weeks old from my boyfriend’s brother and we fostered then adopted Bean when he was 12 weeks old (about 6 months after getting Franklin). We discovered Franklin loves going outside, so we bought him a cat harness and leash and frequently take him on walks (: Bean is too skittish for this, but he loves to play inside with toy mice and springs (ESPECIALLY springs, those are his favorite 😅)

I’m free 2pm and onwards during the summer months for drop-ins and dog walking services. I also stop by prior to my 6am start time for work to do drop-in visits as well. Please don’t be afraid to reach out for anything at all! •I always allow meet-and-greets for a quick 10 minute appointment (free) prior to any drop-ins or walking services so that I’m no stranger to you or your pet before I stop by for the first service. This also allows us to establish what needs your pet may have and your expectations for me. This rarely happens, but for example: a dog I came to walk was sleeping in the master bedroom so I messaged the owner first prior to retrieving him for our walk😂

“Dogs really enjoy themselves here! It’s an open, welcoming atmosphere where dogs can play and socialize with the other pups. I love a good environment that’s comfortable for both dogs and children, and this place fits right in. They have a big backyard for the dogs to run and burn off energy, and overall it seemed like a perfect fit for ours. They’re also very communicative and send pictures, which I really appreciate. “Maria is simply the best! She took care of our two big boys while we were out of the country for 2 weeks. She sent updates and photos, and reassured us along the way that they were happy and content. She is selective in who she watches, making sure to do a meet and greet and evaluate how each one interacts with others. We had no worries when she had other dogs staying there as well. Our guys were happy to see us when we picked them up, but they also looked content and were snuggly with Maria. You could tell that they had developed a good relationship with her. Maria will be the first one we ask if we need dog sitting in the future.”
