About: I currently have two pomskies, a russian blue, and a black cat. I also had two 80 lbs Weimaraners, a black cat, and a teddy bear hamster growing up as well as taking care of all the neighbors pets when they would go on vacation prior to starting Rover! I now have interacted with almost every size of dog and multiple cats through my services. - I was a dual-sport athlete in college where I did gymnastics and track, and I currently weight lift. I preface this because some pet owners in the past have said I appear to be a smaller girl but I am stronger than I look and have walked/taken care of big dogs and very high energy dogs😂 - My services include: •30 minute dog walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood to give your pet some fresh air and exercise during the day. •30 minute drop-ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and of course plenty of love to make sure your pet is comfortable while you’re away. You may book two per day! •I’m always open to any extra needs or modifying for your situation!! I’m currently in law school and have class mid-day from August to May. I have mornings and evenings/nights open for drop in visits and dog walking during these months. From May to August, I work very early mornings 5x a week. I’m free 2pm and onwards during the summer months for drop-ins and dog walking services. I also stop by prior to my 6am start time for work to do drop-in visits as well. Please don’t be afraid to reach out for anything at all! •I always allow meet-and-greets for a quick 10 minute appointment (free) prior to any drop-ins or walking services so that I’m no stranger to you or your pet before I stop by for the first service. This also allows us to establish what needs your pet may have and your expectations for me. These aren’t mandatory to be able to book with me, just solely a comfort thing! •I remember the way pet items were stored in your home and return them back to the way they were after I’m done using them. •I always message you and ask for permission prior to entering any other part of the house that’s not necessary to the service. This rarely happens, but for example: a dog I came to walk was sleeping in the master bedroom so I messaged the owner first prior to retrieving him for our walk😂

About: Though I’m new to Rover, I've watched animals for friends, family, and employers for the past 10 years and would love to chat with you to see if I can help you with yours. As a former receptionist at an emergency vet clinic and with extensive experience with my own fur babies, I'm very aware of the health risks to both cats and dogs and have training in recognizing signs of distress. I will work with you to establish an emergency plan beforehand if you are going on extended trips. I also have experience with several vets in the area and even bringing animals to the animal chiropractor. I know that every animal's personality is unique, and routines are important for managing stress. My goal is to be that trustworthy, consistent, and dependable addition to your animal's care team. We always had multiple cats and dogs at one time in my family home growing up. They were more than my animals; they were my brothers and sisters and beloved friends. I've loved and cared for 3 of my cats and 2 of my dogs into their senior years and through medical complications. I have experience with administering medications, including insulin to cats, animals with arthritis, and care after major procedures. I currently have open availability during weekdays M-F. I'm here to provide weekday support via check-ins and walks for busy families, as well as support with home visits if you are on vacation. About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have always had a deep love for them. When I was little, I had a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Bravo and a Tortoiseshell cat named Jayden who were a huge part of my childhood. Bravo was very protective of me when I was a baby and young girl, and Jayden was my playful little companion… we would spend hours playing together and just being in our own world. I currently have an English Springer Spaniel that I’ve had for 7 years, and caring for him has given me a lot of hands-on experience and responsibility. I’ve also participated in dog shows and have experience with showmanship, training him and working with him especially when he was a puppy, which taught me a lot about consistency, patience, and understanding dog behavior. My daily routine includes multiple walks a day, feeding, grooming, bath time when needed, and making sure he’s happy, active, and well cared for. Because of this, I’m very comfortable with dogs of all energy levels and personalities. I’m reliable, attentive, and I genuinely enjoy being active and spending time outside, so walks and drop-in visits feel natural for me. I always treat every dog like they’re my own and make their comfort and safety my top priority. I currently don’t have a fixed job schedule, as I may be called in for a golf cart girl position in mid-July or mid-August. I’m able to be flexible with my availability depending on when I’m needed for that job. I also have a planned trip from July 17th through July 21st, during which I will be unavailable. About: Growing up, my parents frequently relied on me to take care of our rat terriers while they were at work - this includes feeding them, taking them out for potty breaks before/ after school, playing with them, etc. Because I’ve been around rat terriers I’m very familiarized with their personalities and high energy levels. I also have experience walking pitbulls and Great Pyrenees breeds, as my boyfriends parents used to own both breeds and I would walk them frequently (: - I also have experience with giving medications to dogs; one of my rat terriers has bad seasonal allergies and receives medication (a liquid) daily with his dinner. Another one of my rat terriers suffered from seizures and would have to receive medication with her food as well. I am comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and needs. I understand the importance of maintaining consistent routines and ensuring pets feel safe and cared for. I’m currently working a full time job, however I don’t start work until 2:45pm everyday (off days are Fridays and Saturdays). When I work Sunday-Thursday I’m available to drop in at least one early morning, I can do another drop in in the early afternoon, and another drop in when I get off if needed (I get off at 11pm). On my days off - Friday and Saturdays - I can do numerous drop ins throughout the day. Anytime between early morning to late night. I have two cats of my own. Both are tabby cats, but they have very different personalities. Bean, who is an orange long haired cat, is very skittish, loves to play, enjoys pets but hates being picked up. While Franklin, is a grey short hair, loves cuddles, being next to his people, and would rather play with Bean than his humans. We got Franklin when he was 8 weeks old from my boyfriend’s brother and we fostered then adopted Bean when he was 12 weeks old (about 6 months after getting Franklin). We discovered Franklin loves going outside, so we bought him a cat harness and leash and frequently take him on walks (: Bean is too skittish for this, but he loves to play inside with toy mice and springs (ESPECIALLY springs, those are his favorite 😅)
About: I have a real love and passion for all animals. I have special skills in diabetes care for my sisters elderly cat and I have trained my own pups (Shar pei, lab pit bull mix and chocolate lab). I am currently a stay at home dad looking to make some extra money. I have pretty open schedule Monday- Sunday starting at 8am I am available. I currently have a miniature schnauzer and I let her outside hooked up to a chain and I go on multiple long walks around our neighborhood. I could easily crate your dog if that is what you prefer. I do keep little Buttons crate over night but that is by Buttons preference (she just loves her crate) and she roams free during the day.

“Andrea was great! We would highly recommend if you have a high energy dog. She was the first one to ever care for our baby. At the time he was an 11 month old, in tact, Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix. He is A LOT to handle. We got daily updates and pictures which was awesome. He appeared to be having the time of his life and not missing us at all. She allows her dogs on the furniture but we don’t. We asked her to keep him on the floor. We received pictures where her dog was on the furniture but ours was on the floor. We appreciated not having to retrain him.”

I love a good environment that’s comfortable for both dogs and children, and this place fits right in. They have a big backyard for the dogs to run and burn off energy, and overall it seemed like a perfect fit for ours. They’re also very communicative and send pictures, which I really appreciate.
