About: I've taken care of my own dogs my whole life; in fact, my first word was dog. I have a German Shepherd named Valerie and a Basenji named Sandy who fight like sisters. My duties have included making sure they are fed, fit, and loved. I love playing fetch and tug-of-war with them and giving them belly rubs! I've made sure they stay healthy by giving them any meds they need as they get older and brushing them weekly (even though they still shed like crazy!). I've also taken care of neighbors' dogs, feeding and taking them on walks while their owners were away. I've taken care of neighbors' cats too, cleaning out litter boxes and coming to play with them if they're in the mood! Looking forward to meeting all of your fur babies too! I'm a college student heading into my junior year and missing my dogs back home. I have a lot of availability to check in on pets or take them for walks around my class schedule, and I'm available for overnight stays any day of the week. I will care for pets in my client's home with the same respect and affection I care for my pets back home. I believe animals are highly intelligent, sweet creatures, each with their own personalities and preferences, and I aim to cater to them whenever possible!

About: Pets have always been in my home growing up and I have been working with dogs for over 2 years professionally and absolutely love what I do! I just recently graduated from the “raising a puppy club” as well have a senior dog of my own! I’ve taken great pride in learning what I can about dog behavior and proper care while I manage and work in a doggy daycare. I have seen everything and I’m shy to nothing when it comes to dogs, regardless of their play style, temperament, energy levels, etc. I have worked with dog breeds large and small and I hope to be able to provide great care for your fur babies and love and respect them as I do my own. I work full-time at a dog daycare in downtown Austin. When I am not working, I have full availability to check in on your babies, do dog walking, or if housesitting, will be able to stay at your home full-time and drive to and from work. My work schedule fluctuates depending on staff availability, but overall I will always make time for you and your pet. I know the feeling of leaving your pet with a new sitter well, and know how incredibly important it is to find someone that not just you trust, but your pet trusts as well. Because of this it’s very important to me that a meet and greet with both the owner and pet is hosted before the scheduled service as to ensure trust and peace of mind not just to your pup but to you as well! I am trained in proper care specifically for dogs and understand the behaviors of cats well, as I raised my own kitten as well as cats growing up. I have learned how to read dog body language and behavior to better understand how they are feeling or what it is I can do to help them. This is something that I am very proud of and hope that I am able to use to help make sure your pets are getting the best care possible. It is important to me that your pets feel safe and trusting of me in their space. I will follow provided instructions for your pet, daily photos/updates, and make sure that the pets in my care feel safe and protected while I am there.

About: I grew up in homes with animals of all kinds and even had the privilege of loving and training some of my own furry friends. I’m patient and adaptable to different needs from animal to animal. I only sit at animals homes currently because I find they do better in their own environments. Overall, I’m very open to the specific needs of the pet and parent. I work from home and my work days are mostly flexible which allows me to give as much time and attention as needed to each animal. I prefer to inquire and understand what normal is for you and your pet and adjust to this during my sit with them. I tend to keep things as normal and calm as possible for the animal.

About: I grew up on a farm in the uk with cats and dogs and all of the animals. I’ve been a life long dog owner and currently have a beautiful McNab called Munro I study from home so I’m super flexible and very present with dog care. I prefer to be able to do a meet and greet prior to make sure we all connect . I prefer clients to have a fenced yard but if not then long leashed walks are also fun! Off leash is good too in the dog parks if your furry friend is good at recall.

About: I have experience taking care of cats and dogs, alike! I enjoy create a safe, playful environment for them to explore and relax. Skilled in nail trimming. I am a Ph.D Candidate currently working on my dissertation. I spend all of my time working from home, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I have a large, relaxing, and pet safe space, as I have a cat of my own. I am able to provide room for your dog as I have underutilized space in my home.
