About: Me and pets…we just get each other, you know? I’ve been taking care of cats, dogs, guinea pigs, turtles, geckos, and more since I was a child. (Before I go on, both of my cats are currently staying with my parents — so I have plenty of room for your pet!) I’m close to my sister, and her senior pug, Lola, and new puppy, Ruby, are my sweet nieces — I’ve cared for them like they’re my own many times over the years. (I can’t wait to get my own dog someday!) I also love to foster all kinds of animals, from puppies to new cat moms and their 8 tiny kittens. In fact, I adopted my second cat, Dusty, after fostering and falling in love with her from APA three years ago. I adopted my senior cat, Minerva, almost 14 years ago from a Brooklyn shelter.  I’m a freelance writer and editor who works from home and loves to be outside, which is why Rover is perfect for me. Whether I’m taking your pup on a long walk (my favorite thing in the world) or cuddling up with your kitty at home, I’m excited to meet your furry best friend! I’m a freelance writer who works from home and sets my own schedule. I also don’t currently have pets in my home. So I have a lot of flexibility to visit your home, take your pet on walks, or host them in my home! My home is currently pet free and safe and ready to welcome your pet. They can even sleep in the bed if they feel like cuddling!

About: Growing up, we had two small dogs and a grouchy old cat. When I was 22, I adopted my own kitten who was found in a barn and later at 25, adopted another kitten. I absolutely adore pets and will make sure that I’ve spent enough time with them to make them feel loved even when you are away. I’m the go-to pet sitter in my family and have traveled to Florida, Denver and Chicago to take care of different relatives dogs. This included a dog with a sensitive stomach/strict diet and an older deaf/blind dog needing different medications throughout the day. I would love to adapt a puppy now, but it does not make sense for me as I tend to travel on the weekends at least once a month. So, I’m on Rover looking to get my animal fix and am so excited about it! I’m fully remote and have a flexible work day, which allows me to easily spend ample time with your dog or cat! I’d love to keep them company while you are busy. I plan on following your instructions on how to best interact with your pet and make them feel safe. However your pet needs to be greeted and left after visiting them, I’ll make sure to follow those instructions.
