About: I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, including puppies and seniors, and I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, administering medication, and giving each dog the attention they need. I treat every pup like family. I’m home full-time, which means your dog will have my full attention throughout the day. From regular walks and playtime to feeding and cuddle breaks, I’ll be there to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. You can relax knowing they’re never left alone for long and are getting plenty of care and companionship. I live in a pet-free home with a fenced yard, providing a quiet and safe space for your dog to relax and play. Your dog will get my full attention, daily exercise, and lots of love while you're away.
“Denise was so amazing with Finley. Sometimes he takes a while to warm up to people, and within an hour he was sleeping on her lap! We will definitely be using Denise again-- she has a way with animals.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I’ve been caring for dogs for nearly half my life. I truly believe a tired dog is a happy, well-behaved dog. With a large backyard and plenty of space to run and play, I make sure every pup gets the exercise, attention, and fun they deserve while feeling right at home. I work from home most of the time, so pet care easily fits into my daily routine. The first thing I do each morning is take the dogs outside for some fresh air and playtime. My roommates and I spend a lot of time in our yard tending to our little homestead, which means the dogs get plenty of attention, exercise, and engagement throughout the day. I make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and comfortable while in my care. I keep in touch with owners and share lots of photo updates so they can see their doggos having fun. That way, they can travel or work stress-free, knowing their furry family is in good hands.

About: My house is fully fenced and close to multiple parks, but I prefer taking dogs to Pease Park and Onion Creek. I encourage and I'm very willing to accept stays more than one week for the right fit. My neighborhood is safe to walk dogs in and my backyard is a good size and dogs love running around back there and playing fetch or sunbathing. I work from home and can take dogs out and walk them multiple times a day (including the summer) and have a nice property that is fully fenced in backyard in a safe neighborhood. Worked with many different breeds, energy levels, ages and sizes and I can easily walk 2 dogs at time under 80 lbs. each. I am very active and love going for walks. If your dog likes to walk I'll easily take them on 2 walks a day totaling at least 1 mile if not more. If your dog is older or is t safe to walk that's fine too. Your dog will be taken extremely well taken care of and safe with me. You dog(s) will need to be able to be around other dogs because usually 1-2 weekends a month and during all major holidays I'll host up to 1-4 dogs at a time, but it's usually only 1-2 dogs minus major U.S. holidays. Self-employed, financially independent, own my home, work remotely and with a very flexible work schedule. I've lived in Austin for over 15 years and know the area well. I'm physically active and make sure all dogs get regular attention, walks, taken out many times a day to go to the bathroom and relax outside. I'm also patient and have experience with senior dogs. Since I work from home I can let dogs out many times a day (4-5) to go to the bathroom and easily walk all dogs twice a day usually over a mile if they are able to walk. I'm focusing a lot on physical health right now and exercise and that goes hand and hand with dog walking. I love playing fetch too with dogs that like to play fetch. My large backyard is fully fenced. I rarely leave pets alone when I host them minus running 1-2 chores a day for about 1-2 hours. Safety is very important, happy to crate your dog if needed. My house is very clean and I feed dogs in the morning and evening.
“Highly recommend! My dog has dementia which means he's constantly having his brains turn more and more into mash potatoes. Patches was able to provide exceptional care with all his special needs and I never worried about him bc he was in such good hands! 😻 Meow!”

“Rachel and Justin are nothing short of phenomenal! Leaving my puppy Queenie in their care was the best decision I made. They treated her like a member of their own family, going above and beyond to ensure she was happy and well-cared for. Their flexibility and warm welcome immediately eased any nerves I had about leaving her with strangers. Queenie not only loved spending time with them but also adored their fur children and their son. I couldn’t be happier with the love and attention they provided. I’ll definitely be choosing Rachel and Justin again in the future for their exceptional care and genuine love for dogs!”

About: I'm an animal lover through and through! I adopted my dog Moose from Austin Animal Center 7 years ago, and have loved having her by my side. I love all breeds, have experience with puppies to seniors and have experience administering medication if needed. Looking forward to meeting you! I work from home Monday- Friday which is great for being able to keep an eye on pups during the day! I'm available for boarding, drop-in's, or a walk (location dependent). As someone who has used dog sitters, I know it can be nerve wracking to leave your dog in someone else's care. That's why I love to send photos and text updates multiple times throughout the stay, and am quick to respond to any questions. To me, pets are more like family members, so I want to make sure they're as comfortable and safe as possible. I have a large fenced in back yard, plenty of toys, and you can bet your pup will be invited onto the couch for a cuddle!
“Gil is nothing short of awesome! Truth is, I don't want to leave a really good review on here about him, because I want him to always be available when I need him! :) Gil really listened to everything I had to explain about ol' "persnickety" Jack, and was so attentive to those things. I know Jack was comfortable with Gil, by some of the pics I was sent during his stay. I will definitely be booking Gil again, as he is very much a dog person and very accommodating. I went with my gut on this one, and I am so glad I did!”
“Kristen took good care of my little guy and even introduced him to his first kitty 😼😹 Helped me to not worry about him while I was in town for a work conference. Will go to Kristen again when I’m back in Austin 🫶🏼”

About: I have experience watching dogs of all ages and sizes in NY and now Texas. I understand needs of dogs whether that be sensitive to noises, separation anxiety, etc - I’ve seen it all. Especially with my own six pound Chihuahua! Experience in administering medicine and training, I can help you and accommodate for anything you may need. I have tons of love to give and will provide an easy and calming experience for you and your family. I work from home and am able to give your pet 24/7 attention. Walks can be given every hour and the dog park at least once a day, if your dog likes dog parks. I am available every day and very flexible with scheduling. I live alone in a quiet house with a fenced backyard so there’s plenty of space for your furry friend to get comfortable. I also have a very friendly chihuahua that will be with me for any dog boarding. Your dog may sleep on the furniture or in a crate, whatever you prefer. I can administer medicine (no shots) and live within walking distance of a vet that I know personally, so this is the perfect place in case of any emergencies.
“Amanda and Jared were awesome hosts they took care of all my dogs needs and he had a wonderful play date. I would recommend them at any moment you are in need while in Austin. Thank you Amanda and Jared”

About: I’ve had my 9yo dog since he was a pup. He comes along with me nearly everywhere dogs are allowed! I would love to bring yours along too if they’re good in a car and around people. I have owned multiple dogs at once and fostered dogs during that time so I’m comfortable having two or three dogs at a time. I work from home and I have plenty of time for walks, pets, and hanging out with your pet! I live next to a park so it’s easy to get outside and play. I will take care of your dogs and cats as if they are my own. I love animals and I am looking forward to hosting your pets!
“She takes care of my deaf and partially blind puppy--what more can I say?! He gets lots of walks with her and thrives on her one-on-one attention. I know it's a good day when he comes home tired, which is very hard to accomplish with him. :) I was worried about him being in an apartment, but they go outside so often, it really isn't an issue for him. Vivien is attentive, responsive, and extremely patient with my high energy (and sometimes high needs) puppy. Thanks Vivien!”

About: Hi, I’m Ashley. I work from home and offer thoughtful, low-stress care for both dogs and cats. My goal is to help your pet feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away — with a routine that’s calm, structured, and tailored to their needs. Every stay starts with a gentle welcome to help your pet ease into the space — including calming music and quiet downtime. Once they’re feeling settled and secure, we turn up the fun with play, affection, and plenty of personalized attention. In addition to boarding and daycare, I also offer drop-in visits and dog walking, with the same level of care and attention to what makes each pet feel safe and happy. I’m also happy to help with last-minute bookings whenever I can. I live in a two story townhome in a pet friendly complex, with a few go-to enrichment tools to keep pets mentally stimulated between walks or play time.
About: I’ve raised my own dog since he was a puppy, and he’s now 4 years old! I’ve also cared for friends’ and family dogs, giving them plenty of love, walks, and attention. I treat every pet like my own—safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I work fully remote, so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give your pup plenty of attention throughout the day. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cuddle breaks, I’m able to fit pet care easily into my routine. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I live in a pet-friendly condominium that has its own dog park, which is perfect for safe playtime and exercise. I also enjoy taking walks around the neighborhood for a little extra outdoor time. At home, pets have a calm, clean space to relax, with plenty of love and attention. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their routines and make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable.

West Congress dog parents share their Rover experiences
Brittany was so sweet with Lottie. Her kiddos played with my pup and I bet she had the best time. Brittany also was communicative and opened the door and came out right when I pulled up. Would highly recommend and definitely have Brittany sit for Lottie again!

Alysha was wonderful with our dog, Roxy! I immediately felt that Roxy was in good hands, which made my day completely worry-free. She responded quickly and was friendly and professional throughout the entire process. Alysha also sent me photos, and it was clear that Roxy was happy and relaxed. We’ll definitely reach out to her again when we need care. Thank you, Alysha!
