I stay home-full time so I can promise lots of attention and cuddles to every pup or cat I take of. My husband (Sean) also works from home and loves animals as much as me.

Safety, trust & environment
I take pet health and safety seriously so if the weather is too hot, I will not take the dogs on walks to protect their paws and to avoid over-heating. We have a fenced in backyard, I use to get out that extra energy if need be. I have a sweet introverted pup. She isn’t one to force play or interactions so she gets along with dogs of all energy types. I have a family dinner on Friday and Sunday nights for about 2 hours at most each. Other than those times, we schedule things so that at least one of us is always home.

A typical day
We allow pets on the furniture and bed. We sleep with them all every night. Our house is typically calm and quiet so dogs with anxiety tend to like it here. Breakfast 7am-8am Dinner 5pm-6pm. We have a big toy box of dog toys that they can play with including interactive and puzzle toys. We have a sweet pup and three cats of our own who may play with them as well. They have free rein and can run around the house as much as they want unless you would prefer them not to. We are big into fetch and tug-o-war We can let them out into the backyard to play and/or potty every 2-3 hours or as needed. We like to cuddle and nap with the dogs during the day as well. I also get my daughter in a separate play area for safety. With supervision, we let her pet and get some cuddles with dogs who are comfortable with babies. We never leave our daughter and a dog together unattended or within arms reach for both her and the dog’s safety.

Pet care experience
My name is Marissa and I hope to have the opportunity to meet your furry friends! I have always had dogs growing up. I have experience taking care of Newfoundland’s to chihuahuas. I have 15 years of experience pet sitting and walking in my neighborhood. My husband, Sean, and I are currently the proud owners of a happy little schnoodle and three cats. We have a sweet one year old daughter. We love walks and cuddles. I am available most of the time and have transportation. I am trustworthy and passionate about animals. I will make sure your pets are well taken care of and have a good time. I know it can be a stressful time for pets to be separated from owners so I try to make it the best experience possible. I hope to meet your furry friends soon!
Reviews

Marissa was great! She took great care of our pup Appa while we were out for the day. He had a lot of fun and was very relaxed when we picked him up. Unfortunately we moved to the other side of town, but if we were still nearby we’d absolutely be returning back! Highly recommend Marissa if you need a pup sitter!

Thank you for the cute photos and always taking good care of Bentley!

marissa always does such an amazing job taking care of our little uchi boy and he loves staying there! lots of photos and updates and he always comes home one happy boy!

Marissa is the best! Bentley loves staying with her 🐶🐾
