“First time leaving my doge alone with someone who isn’t a best friend or blood related so this was a scare for me from the start tbh, but Amanda and Jared were super great! They were reassuring and welcoming throughout the whole process and sent photos every day I was gone multiple times a day and also even when I randomly asked bc professional paranoia is my superpower. They’re in a solid neighborhood with a wonderfully tall and sturdy (and pretty nice looking) backyard fence where pups hangout and everything. About: I have taken care of dogs for over 15 years and am a huge animal lover! I also foster dogs through the humane society and Rescue Austin Dogs! I recently lost my beloved doggy so am very excited to welcome some new pups in the house. I am super flexible and only gone for a max of 3-4 hours at a time so your dog will get lots of attention! I have two small children so can only watch dogs that are good with kids (and dogs because we might be watching others). We have fenced in yard with almost an acre to roam around! We also have a nice trail by our house if your dog enjoys trail walks. We stay active so lots of walks will be in the plan if your doggy likes that!

About: Dogs have always been apart of my life; I care for my own dog Hazel as if she was the Queen of the world and I extend that care to all my friends dogs whom I baby sit or walk when needed. I have always wanted to pet sit, and am finally doing it! I currently teach yoga and Pilates and run a start up company from home. If I leave my house it is only for a few hours at a time. I would love to make working from home that much cuter by keeping your pup company while you're away! I have a spacious multi room apartment with plenty of cozy spots to snuggle up for a nap, and plenty of space for tug-of-war. Behind my apartment is Violet Crown Trail which my dog and I utilize every morning.

I know Jack was comfortable with Gil, by some of the pics I was sent during his stay. I will definitely be booking Gil again, as he is very much a dog person and very accommodating. “My dog Otto had a fun day with Kristen and her family. Kristen has a nice fenced in yard for dogs and her house is across the street from a park where they spent lots of time. Kristen also has lots of dog toys in her yard that Otto enjoyed playing with. Kristen's dog Zoey is very sweet and would get along with any dog, and Kristen's children took an interest in Otto. Kristen sent pictures even though I didn't request them (thank you!), she was very flexible about drop off and pick up times, and her location in South Austin was very convenient for us. About: I grew up around dogs and people with dogs. Whenever there is a dog near me I can't help but stop and show it a little bit of love. My friends often refer to me as the dog whisperer and know if there is a dog in the room they cease to exist. I understand more than most how a dog is not just a pet but a member of the family who loves us unconditionally. I am the go to dog sitter of my friend group and I also volunteer at Austin Pets Alive (APA) on a regular basis. I take their dogs for walks and help out in their marketing department as well. I can't wait to meet your ball of love and make sure they have a great time. I work from home and only leave my home a few times of day for things like walking Ladybird, to grab food, go to an appointment, etc. This means dogs aren't alone too often and get all of the love. I follow the same rules that the dogs have at home to make sure they don't pick up any bad behaviors while at my house. Same goes for food. They only are given what you provide for them. All of the rugs and furniture are dog friendly including the screen door leading out to the gated yard.
