He took care of our Frenchie, Halo, for 17 nights, and despite the initial stress of leaving him for so long, Jared immediately put our minds at ease. He has a calm, confident presence so Halo warmed up to him immediately, even though it normally takes him a bit. Jared was incredibly diligent with all of Halo's specific instructions, including feeding him his fresh food diet, putting on his bug collar before walks, and using his cooling neck gator when the weather was a little too warm. Jared even took it upon himself to eliminate any chance of Halo running out the front door by putting up a puppy gate. Jared’s communication was also outstanding – we received daily and detailed updates that included photos. What truly set him apart was how he handled things when Halo unexpectedly got sick. Not only did Jared take Halo to the vet and later drive back to pick up his medication, he also prepared special meals for him and ensured he got all of his medication right on schedule. On top of the incredible care, Halo had a blast playing with Jared’s dog, Maui! It was clear Halo was not only safe and well-cared for, but genuinely happy, which made our trip worry-free. About: My entire childhood (and adulthood) I grew up with animals. Cats, dogs, turtles, ducks, geese, rabbits, you name it. I used to work at a doggy day care and in college I nannied for a big family with a few dogs. I personally have 2 cats myself. I love animals so much and truly wanted to start pet sitting because I just wanted to spend time with animals. I’m totally good with giving medicine, walks, park time, car time, whatever your baby needs. I’m here for it all! I’m in field sales so my schedule is super flexible! I make my own schedule so can fit in any time to see your babies! I drive all over town so can make anything work. I love to make sure your pet gets the care they need - so if that’s outside time for 20 minutes then we will do that. If it’s playing around for 20 minutes then we will do that or if they just want pets, of course we can do that. I currently live in an apartment so all visits would have to be in your home.

About: I’m new to Rover but not new to pet care! My family has always had cats and dogs so I’m always happy and comfortable around animals. I’m very patient, calm and attentive. My cat was very sick when I first got him but his symptoms were very subtle, the vet said had I not been so adamant about getting him checked multiple times, he probably would not have made it. I love all animals and would bring that level of attention to any fur baby that I sit for. I know that each animal requires specific care and is unique in personality and I am happy to work within whatever sitting style would make your pet comfortable and happy. I am trusted sitter for friends and family and would treat your pet with the care and love that I would treat my own. I just graduated with my masters at UT Austin so I currently have a very open schedule! I drive and would be happy to come by whenever you need. I think that it’s really important for your pet to have the care that you think is best. Whatever your routine or situation I’m happy to accommodate to keep your pet on schedule. For example, I am very particular about how I take care of my own cat in my home. He has an automatic feeder and a water fountain so that he is always fed on time and has enough water throughout the day. Each night I play fetch with him for at least 15 minutes to get his energy out before bed. At night time he sleeps next to me the whole time. Taking care of my bulldog daily requires applying nose butter, baby whites, dental wipes and more. I am happy to do this for my clients fur babies too! About: I have grown up always having a dog. I am very caring and attentive to a dog's needs. I enjoy being engaged and active with dogs. I love taking pictures and sending them to the dog owner. I also love helping people and making them feel comfortable and allowing them to trust me with their pet. I think the more information you can provide me about your pet - the better! I work from home and am able to give your pet all the attention they desire. If your dog is used to sleeping in a bed, I have no problem with your dog sleeping in my bed. I encourage you to bring their favorite toy or treats! In April 2020, I got a puppy of my own. His name is Charlie and he is a miniature golden doodle (30 lbs). He is friendly and loves other dogs. I work from home so I’ll be with your pup most of the day! I usually take my dog out in the morning for a walk and let him out in the afternoon and then after work for another walk. I have a backyard, live near a dog park and have lots of nearby areas to take walks! I keep things that could be unsafe out of reach. I have plenty of dog toys in my home.

He took care of our Frenchie, Halo, for 17 nights, and despite the initial stress of leaving him for so long, Jared immediately put our minds at ease. He has a calm, confident presence so Halo warmed up to him immediately, even though it normally takes him a bit. Jared was incredibly diligent with all of Halo's specific instructions, including feeding him his fresh food diet, putting on his bug collar before walks, and using his cooling neck gator when the weather was a little too warm. Jared even took it upon himself to eliminate any chance of Halo running out the front door by putting up a puppy gate. Jared’s communication was also outstanding – we received daily and detailed updates that included photos. What truly set him apart was how he handled things when Halo unexpectedly got sick. Not only did Jared take Halo to the vet and later drive back to pick up his medication, he also prepared special meals for him and ensured he got all of his medication right on schedule. On top of the incredible care, Halo had a blast playing with Jared’s dog, Maui! It was clear Halo was not only safe and well-cared for, but genuinely happy, which made our trip worry-free.
