About: I’m ready to give your furry family member the attention they want but our busy lives don’t always leave time for. Your dog is YOUR loyal companion, let me be THEIRS! Is your pup looking bored? Get ‘em up and moving! We’ll go on long walks and chat about things like what IS the best flavor Milkbone in the variety pack? Which film truly deserved two paws up from the critics, Air Bud or Beethoven? What makes Great Danes think they’re so great, anyway? (I mean, they are, but so are pugs and chihuahuas. Let’s not discount the little guy!) Once your pooch has been played with and pampered, exercising their body and mind, alike, they will have nothing left to do but sit, stay and shower you with affection to thank you for all the TLC they’ve received.

“Brady loved his stay with Karen, Cupcake and Maddie, I would definitely reccommend Karen. He was in a happy and healthy environment for a week and I know I can rely on Karen to take great care of Brady when I need a sitter again!!”

“Repeat booking - Eyran is great! And it's very clear that Bentley loves him too. He walks her multiple times every day, feeds her well and gives her her insulin with ease. We will definitely rebook with him.”

“Alegria was amazing with Arya. She sent loads of photos and videos. It was clear to see Arya was being very well looked after and was very happy there. Would definitely leave Arya with her again 😊”

“Adreana took good care of my Dante, I know he had a lot of fun during his stay there. She kept us updated and even after we picked him up she was following up to see how he was doing”

“Patricia and family did an awesome job of caring for Dusty. I would encourage anyone to trust her and her family to take excellent care of your pet as if it were their very on. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! And, Dusty thanks you as well. He will be seeing your again when we come to Orlando.”

“Elyse was amazing she send me pictures everyday of Claire!! She also gave Claire her daily eye drops and allergy pill. Also my dog is a bit of a handful but Elyse was able to handle her!! Claire loves her I will definitely use her again when I go out of town !!!”

“Leaving my dog Minnie with someone new for the first time was honestly very nerve-wracking for me. She’s always been cared for by family, but since I was traveling to Puerto Rico for my wedding, I didn’t have that option this time. Melanie was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She took care of Minnie for about a week and a half and truly treated her like her own. She kept me updated every single day, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away during such an important time in my life. Minnie can be a little particular, and even though she didn’t fully get along with Melanie’s dog, Melanie handled the situation so well. She was patient, attentive, and made sure Minnie was safe, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. I’m so grateful for the love and care she gave Minnie. I would absolutely trust Melanie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and compassionate to care for their pet.”

“We had a great first experience with Nicole and her family. Our dogs Bo & Shyla really felt at home. We look forward to Nicole watching our pups during our next vacation!”
“EXCELLENT LOVING CARE!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! My 17 year old, special needs, completely blind, silky mix dog, Paisley, who also has dementia, stayed with Ms Annette for 8 days while we were on vacation. We were able to bring Paisley to meet Ms Annette prior to boarding her. Things could not have gone better. Ms. Annette was patient, kind, caring, and gave Paisley time to come to her and be comfortable. Her home was spotless as was the separate grooming / boarding area. Dogs have use of / access to both the boarding and home areas, as well as a spacious, outdoor, shady, grassy backyard area to play. Ms Annette even allows dogs on her couch. Because of her age and special needs status, it became impossible to leave Paisley at a typical kennel as they were unable to provide the specialized care and attention she needed. Ms. Annette was able to provide the specialized care needed, provided a lot of love and belly rubs, and even taught Paisley to use her doggy door!! She kept Paisley under her usual home routine which resulted in a smooth transition home. When going to pick her up, Ms Annette greeted me with Paisley in her arms. Paisley was clean, as were her doggy blanket and bed. During her stay, Ms Annette sent daily updates, photos, and videos, confirming Paisley was adjusting well, had made new friends. Ms Annette is 100% recommended. Great care! Lots of love!! Communicative! Board your pet worry free knowing they’ll be very well cared for with Ms. Annette!”

“Words can’t describe how amazing Ashley is. She does an amazing job at getting to know your pup and making sure you are secure that your pup is left in safe hands. From the beginning we arranged a meet and greet and she took her time to show us were our pup will be and what his care will include. Made notes of our pup needs and what he is used to to make sure she provided it while we were gone. She exceded all of our expectations. Made sure to keep us updated on our pup on a daily basis! She gave us such a peace of mind. Truly blessed to have her and will be bringing my pup back to her ALWAYS!”

Thank you for the best experience!”

“Labren, did a great job taking care of my dog. She was open to a meet & greet with my dog. They bonded and that was important to me. I will rebook with Labren shortly as I appreciate her service and how she took care of my Soni. She provided updates with either photos or videos. Soni got a bath during her stay!! Thank you, Labren for your service! 🙂”

Lena and her family were incredibly kind, and my cat Harvey had the best time staying with them. Their home is full of toys and friendly cat companions, and Harvey felt completely comfortable there. I could tell he was well cared for and happy. I know he’d love to go back. Thank you for taking such great care of my baby boy!

Hailey is the best dog sitter around the area, i left my 2 Giant Schauners with her for 2 months while I worked out of state and my dogs were very well taken care of she took care of every need and more. She really loves what she does and that’s important especially when you leave love ones behind.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
