“Samantha and Wendy as well their amazing dog family were so welcoming secure and comforting to our Knight. Got plenty of playtime, naps, and love/care just like mom and dad would as we were gone. There was such great communication and never a doubt in trust or security as they’re always keeping up with updates as well as pictures/videos. Thank you ever so much can’t wait to book with you 2 again ❤️❤️❤️”

“We needed a new Sitter for our sassy girl but we are super picky! Krystal checked all of the boxes for us and Willow was right at home with her family. The home is clean and bright and the fenced yard is a plus for our frisbee-loving girl. Willow came home very happy and we will be 100% be booking again. Thank you so much!!”

“Kyli took very good care of our boy Rico and made sure he had tons of fun. We appreciated all the videos and updates she sent us while we were away they helped us have peace of mind while this is the first time we were away from him for this long. Definitely recommending and booking again when we need someone to watch him.”

“Couldn't be happier with the quality of care provided. We think our dogs reaction when he went back the 2nd time says it all, he was happy to be there and his demeanor showed that he was well taken care of and loved. His third stay is tonight and we know he will have fun.”

“Kathy and her husband are amazing! We left our sweet Coco with them for a couple days and everything went really well, Kathy sent us pictures, kept us updated and always replied within minutes. Drop off and pick up went smooth and Coco seems very happy with her little vacation.”
“EXCELLENT LOVING CARE!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! My 17 year old, special needs, completely blind, silky mix dog, Paisley, who also has dementia, stayed with Ms Annette for 8 days while we were on vacation. We were able to bring Paisley to meet Ms Annette prior to boarding her. Things could not have gone better. Ms. Annette was patient, kind, caring, and gave Paisley time to come to her and be comfortable. Her home was spotless as was the separate grooming / boarding area. Dogs have use of / access to both the boarding and home areas, as well as a spacious, outdoor, shady, grassy backyard area to play. Ms Annette even allows dogs on her couch. Because of her age and special needs status, it became impossible to leave Paisley at a typical kennel as they were unable to provide the specialized care and attention she needed. Ms. Annette was able to provide the specialized care needed, provided a lot of love and belly rubs, and even taught Paisley to use her doggy door!! She kept Paisley under her usual home routine which resulted in a smooth transition home. When going to pick her up, Ms Annette greeted me with Paisley in her arms. Paisley was clean, as were her doggy blanket and bed. During her stay, Ms Annette sent daily updates, photos, and videos, confirming Paisley was adjusting well, had made new friends. Ms Annette is 100% recommended. Great care! Lots of love!! Communicative! Board your pet worry free knowing they’ll be very well cared for with Ms. Annette!”

“Danieris and Julian are a wonderful and kind couple. They welcomed my dog and communicated regularly about his stay and questions. I would absolutely use them again.”

“Maria was great! She haves us daily updates with pics demonstrating the love and attention her family have Bell. We can tell by Bell’s reaction that she felt right at home. We will definitely”

“Excelente servicio, muy comunicativos siempre estuve informada de mis dos perritos. Lugar seguro y aman lo que hacen. Luna y Lucas muy estaba súper feliz. Recomendada al 100%.”

“I 100% recommend Ana. I will definitely book again with her. She kept us informed of how Giddy was doing and sent us pictures and videos of him. He was very loved on his boarding with Ana. I could see he had a great time with his 2 new furry friends which loved to play with him. They are a very welcoming family. If you want a place where they love and take good care of your pet as much as you, you should book with Ana. ❤️”

“Mary and her husband are great! We have 2 older bonded small dogs. In the past, when we went on trips, they stayed with my in-laws. Due to life circumstances, they can no longer keep them. We were quite nervous about leaving them, especially our 14 year old Boston, as he has anxiety issues. Mary and her husband took such good care of our furbabies, we couldn’t have asked for better! She also sent us daily updates and pictures, which was great too. I highly recommend Mary. I can’t say enough good things about her and her husband!”
“Maryana was such an amazing caretaker for our Lu. She was so patient and kind with both her and us. Always kept us updated and sent pictures whenever she could.”

“I know why Raquel is given the badge of a Five Star Sitter⭐️ As a first timer to use the services of a 🐕 sitter, and being unsure about the transition of trust for the care of lovable Snowflake🐾 Raquel made sure I felt comfortable with communicating with her as well as her texting with photos of smiling Snowflake😁 So, I was a happy too!! With my🐕approval, I definitely will use Raquel again💯🐾”

“I wish I could give more stars. Our baby, Mabel, was treated so well I am pretty sure she would have stayed forever. Their doggie accommodations were outstanding. Daily pictures and updates were an added bonus. You couldn't ask for a better couple! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. see you next trip!”

“I can't say enough of how happy and content Beau was on his first overnight with Lisa. besides all the awesome pictures both days , when I picked him up he was calm and content. Lisa is genuine and just wants your baby to feel at home!!! this is a big deal to leave you fur baby and not have to worry about them!! thank you again”

My dog loved his overnight stay with Ms. Vlasta! Vlasta was great with communicating with me, has a nice clean home and a large fenced backyard. She gave my dog lots of love and took great care of him. I will be using her services again soon and highly recommend her!
We had the absolute best experience! She was so, so sweet and treated Hazel like her own. She kept me updated the entire time with messages and pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was on vacation. Hazel clearly loved her and was so happy and comfortable the whole stay. I couldn’t have asked for better care and will 100% be booking her again. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
