About: I have experience with dogs and other animals, as well as grooming, and I’m comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and needs. I’m patient with puppies, gentle and attentive with senior pets, and always make sure they receive plenty of love, exercise, playtime, and attention Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’m able to make time throughout my week for walks, playtime, feeding, and giving pets the attention and care they need. I care for every pet based on their individual needs and routine. In a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of playtime and exercise, and receive lots of attention and love. I also keep their space clean and comfortable. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully and make sure their pets feel safe and relaxed while they’re away.
“Just a wonderful person! Took care of our dog at my mom’s house while we were away on vacay. Our dog absolutely LOVED her which we were relieved about because he’s not socialized very well due to Covid. She arrived promptly at the agreed upon time twice a day and gave him a big walk so he could do his business and get some exercise. My mom was very comfortable with her and our dog would get so excited when grandma would say “Miss Chelsea is coming!” The dog can’t wait to visit next summer to see Chelsea.”

About: I’ve been a pet owner and caretaker most of my life. I’ve helped or solely taken care of my own pets, family pets and those of friends. I have experience with elderly dogs and puppies big and small, as well as giving oral medications if needed. I make sure to be meticulous and careful especially with the precious fur children of others. My experience with dogs is much stronger than with cats but I certainly don’t mind helping out with kitties:) I just started working, so at the moment availability is a bit limited, I’m free Sundays and Mondays from work. My calendar will be updated as frequently as possible for availability. I make sure to keep a good eye on pets, taking them out regularly and making sure they’re properly fed and cared for, especially should specific needs have to be met. Typically, I spend my time in the home near and around the animals, even if not actively playing or interacting with them. I let pets go on as they normally would, so as to let them stay comfortable, as long as I can keep an eye on them.

About: I’ve loved taking care of all kinds of pets since I was a kid. I currently have 2 dogs who sleep in my bed every night, as well as 2 cats! I started volunteering at the Humane Society when I was 13 years old. I have fostered dogs, rescued strays, been an administrator for a Lost & Found Pets of Polk County Facebook group, and reunited many lost pets with their families. I shadowed Dr. Matthews at VCA Lake Wales Veterinary Hospital when I was 14 years old. Friends and family have relied on me to feed, bathe, and be a sitter for their pets for as long as I can remember! I will always go out of my way to help any animal in need. Whatever kind of care your pet needs I can give! No breed discrimination EVER! I am an animal lover and look forward to meeting you and caring for your pets as if they were my own! I am currently a college student, but I have a very flexible schedule! I do my assignments on my own time, so they won’t interfere with your pet’s care. In your home, I will thoroughly follow all of your instructions on how to care for your pet. Rest assured I will give your pet attention, play time, as many potty breaks as needed, supervised feedings, and anything else that is a part of your pet’s routine. I want your pet to feel safe and loved while you are away, and I will always treat your pet(s) the same way I would treat my own!
About: I have owned cats and dogs my whole life, of all ages. I have been taking care of other people’s animals for the past 2 years, and it’s honestly been such an amazing experience, seeing how grateful owners are that their babies are taken care of, and seeing how happy the pet is to have someone to play with or cuddle with. Pet care is my job so I have a wide flexible schedule for this! I do daily walks, or daily check ins. I also do sitting where I go over for hours at a time while the owner is away. I have clients who have pets who have never been alone before, and anytime they need to leave the house I’ll go over and sit with them, feed them, walk them if necessary. But it gives them a lot of peace of mind that their baby is not anxious with them gone, and is well taken care of.

I will take care of them like they are my own dogs and I will spoil them with treats and lots of visits to the park! I trained all of my own dogs including a few others so I have good handling with dogs that might like to pull on walks. I also love the giant breeds and have one of my own. I am available all days of the week except Sundays and Im available at any time of day. Im currently unemployed with this being my man source of income on and off so any pets would have my entire focus and excellent care. I have two dogs of my own, one older lab and one great dane under 1 so Im very accustomed to different energy levels and different needs.

I have large crates, 4’ L x 3’ H x 2 1/2’ W and a large wire play pen that will configure to any shape and covers up to 32 ft.². A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
