“Alyssa was great! She offered to come by to meet our fur babies ahead of time to make sure they would be comfortable! She followed our list to a T and then some! We will definitely book her again when we go out of town next! Thank you again Alyssa!”

“Lavinia could not have done a better job looking after Ollie for 4 days last week! She communicated really well throughout the week, was super punctual, and went above and beyond as far as any request we made. Ollie had a fantastic week and we are looking forward to Lavinia taking care of him again! Thank you again, Lavinia!”

“Deja was an excellent sitter for my dog! I was very nervous to leave my reactive dog with someone for a week while I was across the country and she did a great job! Very thorough and gave daily summaries and pics, came back to a spotless home and a happy dog”

“Emily did a wonderful job with our dog Laurent. He is a very picky eater and has some quirky behaviors but Emily managed it all beautifully. It is such a relief to have someone we can trust with out pet and pur home.”

“We had an absolutely fabulous first experience with Ona staying in our home and watching our kitty Mira while we were in Bermuda for two weeks. What a great communicator!! And she was so willing to do all kinds of extras that come with a large home and land—including putting out corn for our wildlife friends and making sure our gardens didn’t wilt in the unexpected heat wave. Our kitty absolutely adored her, and she wants us to go away again soon so that she can snuggle and play with Ona again :) Thank you for everything, Ona. It was a joy to have you watching over our home.”

“I recently used Alicia for the first time, but it certainly will be the last! She took care of my dog and two cats for a week. My dog is a rescue who can be nervous around new people, but Sadie warmed up to her, and Alicia sent me lots of pictures of the cats on her lap, and Sadie sitting right next to her. That’s all I needed to know to know Alicia was great at what she does. The house was clean when I returned home, and everyone was happy. I highly recommend!”

About: Hello! I’m so excited to meet you and your doggo! With nearly 15 years of experience volunteering in animal shelters, animals rescues and fostering dogs I am well equipped to work with dogs of all temperaments. The first several years of fostering I solely focused on behavioral cases, working with dogs on reactivity and leash manners. My experience spans ages 8 weeks to seniors and weights itty bitty to 120+ pounds. Those close to me will say I’m “a dog whisperer” as I typically can win over even very selective dogs. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life and I continue to enjoy meeting furry friends wherever I go! My work is per diem which luckily allows me lots of time to hang with pups! I am available most days from noon until 4p.m. Depending on what you are most comfortable with/your dogs specific needs- I can provide private walks at the length of your choice/dog’s ability, sessions of fetch or pup playdates in my large fenced in yard. My dog is submissive and very accepting of all dogs, which is what makes him a great foster brother! As the safety and comfort of your dog(s) is my utmost priority, any play date would be proceeded by proper introductions and proof of up to date vaccinations.

“We were so happy to have found Kelli to watch our beagle and 2 cats while we were away for 5 days. Her communication was great, with many updates and pics, and we came home to happy pets and she even washed her sheets. Would definitely have her sit for us again!”

“Nikole was amazing!!!!! She took care of our favorite child, our mini- schnauzer, watched our cats and fed all 90 of our fish in our fish tanks while house sitting for a week. She updated us multiple times a day, sent videos, photos, and was clear with communication. She took great care of our house shoveled our driveway without being asked and left it in tip top shape. We walked in to a clean home with soft music playing on the tv with videos of dogs playing to keep our pop occupied. She travels with our highest recommendation and we plan on using her all the time moving forward!”

“John was amazing. This was the first time we had a sitter for our 10 month old lab and he made us feel so comfortable and relaxed about the entire experience. Lucky to have found him.”

She’s very communicative and provides us updates, which is so appreciated! She’s our go to Rover when we are out of town!”

“David is the first sitter we have used on Rover for our dogs and cat, while we were away for the weekend. He is phenomenal; our nervous pups took to him immediately and I got pics of relaxed, cuddling dogs - and our GSD is not typically a cuddler so this was even more remarkable. All the pets were calm and happy when we came home. He took great care of our home as well. We will definitely rebook! We are very happy with his care.”

“Nina was a great sitter for our three dogs. Even before the booking and meet/greet, she asked questions to get to know our dogs and their routines. She’s very thorough and detailed. Anita S.
“Anita has helped to watch my pets for almost 10 years and I would recommend her services to anybody. She has experience with dogs, cats, and rabbits (and those are just the pet I've had). She is able to handle the most challenging animals, calming even the most anxious dogs and playing with the most fearful cats. I've known Anita since 2006 and she is always the first person I contact to take care of my fur babies because I know she will provide the most compassionate and attentive care.”

I had a Rover cancel last minute and Lauren saved the day by being very flexible and communicative. I usually like to do a meet and greet beforehand but the timing wouldn’t allow it given our calendars and the short timeline. Lauren made herself available to text and I felt comfortable leaving my home and pets in her care. She sent pictures everyday and I came home to a very kind note. Hope to book her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!

John was fantastic with our pets. We have two big dogs - one with some separation anxiety and the other is dog-reactive. He took excellent care of them and was exceptionally communicative and responsive - all the things that allowed us to enjoy our weekend away and know that our beloved pets were in good hands.

I can’t recommend Izzy highly enough! She took exceptional care of my dog and cat while I was away. My dog can be a bit reactive, but Izzy handled her with calm confidence—walking her two to three times a day and playing enriching games to keep her engaged. She also made sure my cat was well entertained (even using a tablet!) and administered her medication with no trouble. When my flight home was unexpectedly canceled, Izzy rearranged her schedule and stayed an extra night without hesitation. It was such a relief to know my animals were safe, happy, and not alone during what turned out to be a stressful trip home. Izzy is reliable, caring, and clearly has a deep understanding of animals. I’m so grateful for her and wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.

Nina was a great sitter for our three dogs. Even before the booking and meet/greet, she asked questions to get to know our dogs and their routines. She’s very thorough and detailed. Nina communicated throughout the stay with pictures and updates on how they were doing. She kept the house clean also. Would recommend and book again!
Emily went above and beyond in caring for our pets! She frequently communicated and sent pics. The animals looked well loved and happy giving us peace of mind. She also took care of unexpected problems with our pool and home without worrying us about it until she had found solutions to keep our stress low. She is the best!

Helen was wonderful with our puppy Ayla and treated her like one of her own. We really appreciated the updates and adorable photos, it gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It’s obvious that she’s a dog lover and is fantastic with animals. We would absolutely recommend her to everyone!

Brianna was such a wonderful dog sitter for Eddie! She was able to accommodate us on short notice and was great with communicating. We appreciated that she gave us updates so that we felt reassured while away. She was diligent with giving him his medications and he went on more walks than he does with us! Highly recommend!

Ryan is so kind and patient. One of our dogs is very timid, and being away from us stresses her. He took his time with her and she warmed up enough to accept a belly rub and a walk! He was immediately loved by our easy going boy. He treated them each the way they needed to gain their trust. We highly recommend Ryan!

Our first time using a house sitting service for our babies and it was definitely a 5 star experience! From the meet and greet we could tell Samson was perfect for our pups. He was very active with communication- sending pics/videos and gave plenty of love to our two babies. We were very nervous leaving our pups for so long for the first time ever but Samson made that go away and we were able to enjoy our trip with the peace of mind that our pups were in the best hands! We would highly recommend Samson for all your Rover needs! Thank you so much Samson!
