Though our dog did not have any seizures while we were away, I was nervous finding someone who is attentive to those specific needs. Ada and Micheli provided daily pictures and updates during her stay, including an occasional photo of giving our dog her medications. It provided a peace of mind. Mark was accommodating with pickup and drop off times and communicated during the day with pictures and notes. I had no stress about Gus being in good hands. Now from Gus. I am a pandemic pup—totally attached to my empty nester parents (though I really do love everyone.) I loved going to Mark’s house—hopped right out of my mom’s car and ran up to his gate. We went on walks and I got to be pals with his dogs. We played and played and I was so tired when my mom picked me up. I think she was too so she was really happy that I just wanted to lay on the clinch when we got home. Mark took really good care of me and I hope I get to go back. ??”
About: I grew up on farms in the south, so I've been around animals my whole life. I moved to Rochester specifically because of how dog friendly it is. I think dogs deserve to be treated like family because they are our family! I work from home taking care of pets is my main job. If i could fill every hour of the week with animals, I would! I give every dog the time and attention they deserve. I have a fenced in back yard and a friendly dog of my own to keep yours company. “Another awesome stay with Susan and Ella! This is the perfect, safe, playful, loving environment for our one and a half year old lab mix. The backyard is basically dog heaven, and Susan makes sure to keep all dogs safe and happy. All of the dogs that Susan hosts are awesome, and our girl always has a great time. About: Hi, I'm Jackie! I have had pets for over 20 years and am a huge animal lover. I have three cats and a dog - who are all incredibly spoiled. I also have experience with fish, reptiles, small pets, and birds as well. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds :) I work from home and enjoy talking my dog on walks or out into the backyard during breaks or after work. We spend as much time as we can outside. I care about any animal’s health and safety first. In my own home, I try to let the dog I’m sitting be as comfortable as possible - whether that’s being my shadow, hanging out on the couch, or supervising the neighborhood through the window. My dog, Banner, is 7 years old, 85lbs, and he loves other dogs - he’s very gentle with older or small dogs, too. While he likes to play in little bursts, he does not have puppy energy like he used to and my home wouldn’t be the best for a dog who needs a ton of playtime.

About: Murphy and I are a tag team! Please only reach out if your pets are good with other dogs. I’ve always been the girl who is obsessed with dogs. I grew up with dogs and I was the one who took care of them, and that love for caring and training has only grown. I’m the type of person who needs a lot of “outside time” so my soul dog Murphy and I spend a good amount of time playing in the courtyard and going on multiple walks a day; I truly don’t know who’s happier. Currently, I have a very open schedule and it’s just Murphy and I at home all day. Some evenings I babysit for my family out in Spencerport, but kid friendly dogs are welcome to come with me and there is also a large yard (not fenced in, but there is a 30 ft leash set up). I have a fenced in grass courtyard where the dogs can play, and my apartment is very open and there’s lots of room for dogs to play inside. My dog Murphy does not need to be crated when left alone, but I have a small cage in case anyone who visits needs it. Murphy has more toys than I care to admit, so your pups will have lots to play with.

About: People have called me the "dog-whisperer", but I have an affinity with animals of all kinds. I have had several happy and sometimes spoiled dogs and cats of my own throughout my life, I am also the only person I know who never lost their hamster as a child. I love going on long walks and hikes, I even once had a cat who liked to go on walks with me. About: I have been taking care of pets since I was a child. I grew up on a farm and had to care for the family pets. I have watched a plethora of dog breeds for a night, weekend, week, or just to check in. I have experience clipping nails, bathing, and administering medications. I love pet snuggles and giving treats as well as being very active with my pet friends!! I can be flexible with pet sitting needs and am able to provide services during the day, evenings and weekends. I do not provide housesitting overnight at this time. About: I love dogs! I've had dogs since I was a kid, so basically have been around them and taking care of them for my whole life. I am good with nail trims and baths as well! My schedule is pretty open. I have a car as well, so getting there wont be an issue. I work at wegmans part time, so i have plenty of free time! I have a little dog and a bearded dragon. Both house trained (yes the dragon poops in the yard lol) i usually walk dogs 3-5 times a day depending on how often they wanna go. I keep nails trimmed and stuff myself as well.

About: As someone who grew up with many dogs, I had to regularly take care of them and make sure they were safe, fed and clean. I also lived with a cat for 7 years and had to give her ear medicine for one of those years. I have also worked front desk at an animal hospital for 1 year. 2019- 2020. About: In highschool I was very popular in my neighborhood from doing there dog nails, to dog sitting, over night stays, and even medications. Even back in high school I had a part time and school and still made sure the fur babies were taken care of. To this day I still dog sit for my neighbor. I also worked at a doggy daycare for about 6 months then i moved, I learned so much while I was there in that short period of time from learning to gain respect and how to control a group of 15+ dogs . And was in a animal science program in highschool with a mentorship at a clinic, then tried to go to college for my vet tech degree but too expensive(still paying that off). I also do have a very energetic German shepherd who I train every day she knows pretty much everything(sit, lay down, roll over,paw, other paw,high five, spin, heel, center, look, leave it, back up, and wait). I also dog sat for my boyfriend's coworker who had an older pointer who had a seziure not only did I comfort the dog but I called owner asap then vet, I then called off of work. Just because it's not my animal doesn't mean I will love them any less. But the take away from all that is I have a lot of experience in the animal department. I'm currently working part time and have a lot of free time on my hands and love being around animals . I only work wensday-saturday the other days I'm free. But as you can see with my profile I do have my own fur baby but my boyfriend never works nights or weekends so she won't be alone. For the pets at clients housing not only will I respond to you text asap even if I'm busy, I will also ask for guide lines and try to keep your dog on the schedule you have them on consistency is key, especially when a change like you leaving happens. I also am a big over thinker so before I let the dog out if you have a yard I will always make sure the gates are close and secure and make sure there's nothing laying out that would harm them. When I dog sit I imagine as if it's my own dog.

“Oreo takes daily pills and has fecal incontinence in her old age, so she can definitely be a handful. Per Amy, Oreo exhibited some very atypical behavior during her stay -- overnight pee accidents in her dog bed, which she hasn't done since puppyhood or with any other carer. We sent diapers to Amy's house mid-stay to attempt to mitigate the issue. I think Amy did her best with our elderly lady, and I'm not sure what would cause this. Oreo drank a ton of water as soon as she got back home, but hasn't had any pee accidents.”
