“Lavinia has walked our rescue dog and most recently provided overnight dog/house sitting. We instantly felt comfortable with Lavinia in our home and watching young Macie. Lavinia was so communicative with many photos and updates! We would recommend her without hesitation 😊”
2. Morgan A.
“Morgan was amazing with all 3 of my pets. I love that she came out to meet with me and the pets ahead of time. I wasn’t concerned about my cats but my dog is a rescue I’ve only had for 5 months. She is timid and if I am not there she a lot of the time will not eat or walk with only a select few people. I loved that she was happily eating and taking walks with Morgan which Morgan made sure to send proof of in pics. She brought in mail without us even asking. I would not hesitate to book her again.”
3. Sophia N.
“Sophia was very kind and sweet when she came to meet Molly, my golden retriever. She stayed overnight, walked and took care of Molly providing pictures and a short video. I would definitely book her to care for my dog again!”
4. Emily S.
“Emily responded quickly to my inquiry for house sitting and arranged a meet and greet shortly after. She cared for our dog and 2 cats for a long weekend in our home. They all seemed well cared for and the house was left as clean as when we left. I would definitely hire Emily again.”
5. Alyssa C.
“Alyssa was great! She offered to come by to meet our fur babies ahead of time to make sure they would be comfortable! She followed our list to a T and then some! We will definitely book her again when we go out of town next! Thank you again Alyssa!”
6. Maria I.
“Maria was great! She took wonderful care of our boy and our home. Definitely put my mind at ease while we were away for the weekend knowing our dog was being well taken care of. Would definitely recommend and will book again in the future.”
7. Brittani W.
“Brit has been an exceptional dog walker for Jarvis, consistently showing dedication and care during their time together. She arrives on time, always with a smile, and takes the extra effort to ensure Jarvis is comfortable and happy before each walk. Brit has a great understanding of his energy levels and tailors their outings accordingly, whether it’s a brisk jog or a leisurely stroll through the park. Jarvis absolutely adores her, and it's clear that she genuinely loves spending time with him. Her attentive nature and positive attitude make her the perfect companion for my furry friend.”
8. John T.
“I'm so thankful that John was able to care for my dog, especially during the holidays! John was very respectful and kind; trying to maintain my dog's daily routine while we were away. My dog can also be a bit difficult in warming up to strangers and with other dogs, but John was great at understanding and working with Wally's behavior. Would recommend John's services at any time!”
9. Portia F.
“Portia did a wonderful job watching all our animals. From the moment we first met her we felt reassured. Portia was quick to respond to messages while we were away and sent lots of pictures of all the animals. I never worried about their well-being while away, which made our vacation more enjoyable. Portia left the house in great shape and all the animals seem quite content. Portia even stayed beyond the original end time when our flight got delayed. We are completely satisfied and would 100% use Portia again.”
10. Emma M.
“Emma was terrific! She made sure to update us daily and included pictures. Our dog can be anxious and slow to warm up to new people but Emma quickly won him over. He was so well taken care of and happy when we returned. Our house was clean and the way we left it. We will be booking with Emma again!”
11. Morgan W.
“Morgan watched our energetic 85 lb black lab for a 3-day weekend and did a wonderful job taking good care of him. She visited us twice before the housesitting weekend to meet our dog and received detailed instructions on his care, included pills and applying foot powder. Morgan gave our dog many walks, took pictures, and gave him plenty of affection. Highly recommend Morgan to care for your dog!”
12. Ona M.
“Ona is wonderful. We were gone for about 2 weeks and she was wonderful for all our critters including (one large dog with some separation anxiety, one large dog who can be bit of a handful on walks). She communicated with me daily. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our home and beloved pets were in such good hands.”
13. Anika B.
“Anika came to dog sit our two dogs (one adult and one puppy). She was so lovely and sweet - our dogs loved her. She was on time and provided photos throughout the day. We are very grateful to have found a trustworthy sitter!”
14. Amy S.
About: I am a dedicated and experienced pet sitter with a deep love for animals, having grown up with two dogs that I cherish dearly. With my own dog being 3 years old, I understand the importance of finding a trustworthy caretaker for your furry friend. My experience includes not only caring for my own pets but also volunteering at an animal shelter, where I prepared food and maintained a clean environment for the dogs. I’m committed to providing exceptional care, including taking your pets on runs and ensuring they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. If you provide specific instructions, I will follow them thoroughly to meet your pet’s needs. Although I'm currently attending school, I remain flexible and eager to help you feel at ease knowing your pet is in good hands. I am currently taking online courses at SUNY Brockport allowing me to manage my time effectively while working daily. When I am available, I will gladly fit your animals into my schedule, ensuring they receive the attention and companionship they deserve. I am committed to balancing my responsibilities while providing a loving environment for your furry friends.. As a dedicated pet sitter, I prioritize respecting your home and belongings, ensuring everything remains as clean, if not cleaner, than you left it. I understand the importance of a tidy environment and take care to maintain your space by cleaning up after the pets and following any specific guidelines you provide. My attention to detail means I not only keep the pet area spotless but also treat your belongings with the utmost care, ensuring they are respected and well-preserved. This commitment to cleanliness and respect reflects my dedication to providing you with peace of mind while you enjoy your time away.
15. Anna W.
“Anna was great! She took good care of our pup and even tired her out which is hard to do :). She also cared for our “extra” pets and was great at communicating.”
16. Nicole R.
About: Like many others, I grew up around pets— but what sets me apart is that I’ve worked in pet care since 2018. Starting in dog daycare in college, I branched out to dog grooming, and eventually to training and rescue. I’ve gone through CATCH Canine Trainer’s Academy (positive reinforcement dog training), and take my interactions with animals seriously and with great care. I have a fear free approach to handling all animals. I have been a dedicated foster for many pets (dogs and cats) that are fearful and/or have complicated behavior needs. I have a passion for creating an environment for animals to be themselves. I work in animal rescue and have years of volunteering and fostering under my belt. I have pet-sat for many adopted pets and previous training and grooming clients over the years and am happy to provide references! I moved to the Rochester area in May of this year and am ready to start caring for people’s pets again. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members! TLDR: My main availability for drop-ins and walks are any time Fri/Sat, and Sunday-Thursday before 9am or after 6pm. I work Thursday-Sunday, 9am-6pm, with a one hour lunch usually between 1pm-2pm. (I work in Fairport, and can use my lunch break as a potty break for your pet if you are close by.) ** I am an early, early riser and am happy to do walks/drop ins/etc as early as 5:30am if desired/needed ** I am comfortable house/petsitting on days that I am working, especially if your pet is used to hanging around the house for the typical 8 hour work day. I found over the years that most pets tend to be. If your furry family member struggles with being alone for the typical workday, I’d be best booked on my days off for them, then— and that’s okay! I am completely off of work Fridays and Saturdays. I am happy to adhere to your furry family member’s schedule as much as possible. I exclusively petsit in clients’ homes, which allows for their pets to feel most comfortable! I pride myself on trying to keep their routine as much as possible: so why not have them on a stay-cation while their pawrents are away?! I am comfortable walking, running, and of course playing with your pets. I am an avid runner, so I’m happy to take your dog for a spin…or if you have a senior pup or kitty, I’m all about lounging around, too! Enrichment is a huge passion of mine, and I’m happy to bring along my collection of Kong products, food puzzles, lick mats and more if desired.
17. Cameron P.
“Cameron was great with my senior dog Jax. He gladly scheduled a meet and greet before his stay and sent updates and communicated throughout his stay. He was very personable, friendly, and embraced my slight dog-mom-craziness judgment free. I knew my pup was well cared for while I traveled.”
18. Sarah O.
“Sarah stayed with our dog Mac this past weekend. She took wonderful care of Mac. She followed my instructions completely and left our home in good order. Her communication was excellent including sending regular updates with pictures to let me know how Mac was doing.”
19. Paige S.
“Excellent communicator and took great care of my dog, even when the poor pup wasn’t feeling well.”
20. Paul D.
“Paul did a great job keeping us updated and we got so many great pictures of Winston enjoying his time with Paul!”
