1. Lavinia W.
“Lavinia did a wonderful job watching my dog. She took him on daily walks and kept me updated when with pictures while we were gone. It was great to not have to worry while we were gone.”
2. Morgan A.
“We have used Morgan twice for weekend trips and she's amazing! Our younger dog, Crouton, has separation anxiety and loves to be loved on and near humans and Morgan provides the BEST snuggles and lovings a dog could ever need or want. Our older dog, Luna, is a little more "aloof" as we call her, and Morgan gives her just enough space that Luna feels comfortable and safe. We feel soooo comfortable leaving our babies, and our home, in Morgan's care. She treats our home with so much respect, and never leaves a mess. When we get home, are pups are happy and fulfilled. It's awesome that whenever she comes by, Luna and Crouton get so excited because we all know that they will be well taken care of and loved, in their home, while Mom & Dad are away. Morgan is our go-to girl!! We will be welcoming a baby boy into our home in September and we feel confident that, when needed, Morgan will continue to provide our "first babies" with continued love and affection when we need some extra help. She is flexible and is intuitive to our pups' individual needs and always sends us videos and picture updates. As long as Morgan provides puppy services, we won't go with anyone else!!”
3. Ray S.
“Ray did an excellent job watching both of our cats. He followed instructions perfectly and was prompt, professional, and respectful. Thanks, Ray!”
4. Sophia N.
“Sophia is the best. She took excellent care of my fur babies, followed their routines without issue, and was super responsive. She even stayed an extra night when my flight got canceled and I couldn't get home. 10/10 recommend her for any of your pet care needs!”
5. Nikole R.
“Nikole took such good care of my dog! He doesn’t take to new people easily but Nikole made him feel comfortable around her very quickly. She was very prompt and sent me lots of updates and pics. I would book with Nikole again for sure!”
6. Alyssa C.
“Alyssa was great! She offered to come by to meet our fur babies ahead of time to make sure they would be comfortable! She followed our list to a T and then some! We will definitely book her again when we go out of town next! Thank you again Alyssa!”
7. Brittani W.
“I reached out to Brittani last minute & she was super accommodating to us. My dog is a mini poodle mix so she can be anxious at times, Brittani was super sweet and loving towards her! She was attentive & sent pictures and videos regularly. I recommend her to my family & friends!”
8. Maria I.
“Maria was great! She took wonderful care of our boy and our home. Definitely put my mind at ease while we were away for the weekend knowing our dog was being well taken care of. Would definitely recommend and will book again in the future.”
9. John T.
“I'm so thankful that John was able to care for my dog, especially during the holidays! John was very respectful and kind; trying to maintain my dog's daily routine while we were away. My dog can also be a bit difficult in warming up to strangers and with other dogs, but John was great at understanding and working with Wally's behavior. Would recommend John's services at any time!”
10. Wren M.
“Wren is a good friend to people AND animals. The energy they exude playing with their dog and cats is crazy. I’ve known Wren for a long time and I’ve always loved hearing about them hiking with Scrappy or playing with ribbons with their cats. I don’t have pets but if I did I’d call Wren to watch them!”
11. Ona M.
“Ona was so wonderful in taking care of our two older pups! We felt at ease being away from them while she was here. We will be rebooking again!”
12. Sarah O.
“Sarah stayed with our dog Mac this past weekend. She took wonderful care of Mac. She followed my instructions completely and left our home in good order. Her communication was excellent including sending regular updates with pictures to let me know how Mac was doing.”
13. Nicole R.
About: Like many others, I grew up around pets— but what sets me apart is that I’ve worked in pet care since 2018. Starting in dog daycare in college, I branched out to dog grooming, and eventually to training and rescue. I’ve gone through CATCH Canine Trainer’s Academy (positive reinforcement dog training), and take my interactions with animals seriously and with great care. I have a fear free approach to handling all animals. I have been a dedicated foster for many pets (dogs and cats) that are fearful and/or have complicated behavior needs. I have a passion for creating an environment for animals to be themselves. I work in animal rescue and have years of volunteering and fostering under my belt. I have pet-sat for many adopted pets and previous training and grooming clients over the years and am happy to provide references! I moved to the Rochester area in May of this year and am ready to start caring for people’s pets again. I can’t wait to meet your furry family members! TLDR: My main availability for drop-ins and walks are any time Fri/Sat, and Sunday-Thursday before 9am or after 6pm. I work Thursday-Sunday, 9am-6pm, with a one hour lunch usually between 1pm-2pm. (I work in Fairport, and can use my lunch break as a potty break for your pet if you are close by.) ** I am an early, early riser and am happy to do walks/drop ins/etc as early as 5:30am if desired/needed ** I am comfortable house/petsitting on days that I am working, especially if your pet is used to hanging around the house for the typical 8 hour work day. I found over the years that most pets tend to be. If your furry family member struggles with being alone for the typical workday, I’d be best booked on my days off for them, then— and that’s okay! I am completely off of work Fridays and Saturdays. I am happy to adhere to your furry family member’s schedule as much as possible. I exclusively petsit in clients’ homes, which allows for their pets to feel most comfortable! I pride myself on trying to keep their routine as much as possible: so why not have them on a stay-cation while their pawrents are away?! I am comfortable walking, running, and of course playing with your pets. I am an avid runner, so I’m happy to take your dog for a spin…or if you have a senior pup or kitty, I’m all about lounging around, too! Enrichment is a huge passion of mine, and I’m happy to bring along my collection of Kong products, food puzzles, lick mats and more if desired.
14. Portia F.
“Portia did a wonderful job watching all our animals. From the moment we first met her we felt reassured. Portia was quick to respond to messages while we were away and sent lots of pictures of all the animals. I never worried about their well-being while away, which made our vacation more enjoyable. Portia left the house in great shape and all the animals seem quite content. Portia even stayed beyond the original end time when our flight got delayed. We are completely satisfied and would 100% use Portia again.”
15. Anika B.
“Anika came to dog sit our two dogs (one adult and one puppy). She was so lovely and sweet - our dogs loved her. She was on time and provided photos throughout the day. We are very grateful to have found a trustworthy sitter!”
16. Marlena R.
“She was amazing! She gave constant updated pictures and was in perfect contact with me the whole time, she even played with the pups a bit and they are all tuckered our from their day of fun! She’s loving and sweet and I would defiantly have her watch them again!!”
17. Paige S.
“Excellent communicator and took great care of my dog, even when the poor pup wasn’t feeling well.”
18. Paul D.
“Paul did a great job keeping us updated and we got so many great pictures of Winston enjoying his time with Paul!”
19. Cameron P.
“Cameron was great with my senior dog Jax. He gladly scheduled a meet and greet before his stay and sent updates and communicated throughout his stay. He was very personable, friendly, and embraced my slight dog-mom-craziness judgment free. I knew my pup was well cared for while I traveled.”
20. David M.
“David is the first sitter we have used on Rover for our dogs and cat, while we were away for the weekend. He is phenomenal; our nervous pups took to him immediately and I got pics of relaxed, cuddling dogs - and our GSD is not typically a cuddler so this was even more remarkable. All the pets were calm and happy when we came home. He took great care of our home as well. We will definitely rebook! We are very happy with his care.”
