About: Communication and Reliability are key! I have a tuxedo cat who is turning 6 this December. I also live with my boyfriend who has two cats, one 9 and the other 2. My daily cat experience is high. Each cat has their own personalities and quirks. Beyond that, since a young age most my friends had cats with varying personalities and required age considering some were pushing 12. About: A recent graduate of the Eastman School of Music, I'm currently playing with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra as a flutist! I've been missing my spunky dog Kora who lives back home and have always grown up with dogs, which is why I've been a sitter for Rover since I moved here in 2021. I love going for walks/runs, just hanging out, or lying next to my fireplace at home-- hopefully your dog loves some of these too! I've been taking care of dogs in total for around 15 years now, so I'm used to taking them out fairly frequently, getting up early for a morning walk, and bathing them. I am more than happy to take your dogs on a walk or watch them in my apartment, and make sure they're well-fed, have time to play, and are happy while you can go about your day :) I've raised my dog Kora from puppyhood and am very familiar with the training required for puppies. I have also fostered a handful of dogs (small dogs and one large dog) over the last few years and have experienced shy dogs who take some time to come out of their shells :) As a musician, I have a few hours here and there scattered throughout my day that I can walk or stop by/watch your pup. I'm a very active person and love being outside! I am more than happy to be outside/in your home with them as well! I unfortunately cannot house your furry friends because of my housing situation.

About: Murphy and I are a tag team! Please only reach out if your pets are good with other dogs. I’ve always been the girl who is obsessed with dogs. I grew up with dogs and I was the one who took care of them, and that love for caring and training has only grown. I’m the type of person who needs a lot of “outside time” so my soul dog Murphy and I spend a good amount of time playing in the courtyard and going on multiple walks a day; I truly don’t know who’s happier. Currently, I have a very open schedule and it’s just Murphy and I at home all day. Some evenings I babysit for my family out in Spencerport, but kid friendly dogs are welcome to come with me and there is also a large yard (not fenced in, but there is a 30 ft leash set up). I have a fenced in grass courtyard where the dogs can play, and my apartment is very open and there’s lots of room for dogs to play inside. My dog Murphy does not need to be crated when left alone, but I have a small cage in case anyone who visits needs it. Murphy has more toys than I care to admit, so your pups will have lots to play with.

I have a plaque above my french door to the back deck and yard and it says "Agenda for the day; dog in, dog out,etc) I have a ramp down into yard as well. Your dog will be cared and loved and supported the whole time; lots of toys here and beds; pup and human. I am retired and have the time to devote to your animals needs and wants.I make sure each of my dog's get their needs met. I have a fenced in yard with the forever wild behind me so lots for you dog to see. Your dog will be with my 7 year old rescue and sometimes my boyfriend's 13 year old border collie...both sweet and accepting of other dogs and humans.

I also really appreciated that he was able to take my dog on very short notice. My dog has some behavioral issues, and when I explained them, Kenan didn't seem intimidated or put off at all. He was calm, patient, and relaxed, which helped me feel much more comfortable leaving my dog in his care. It was clear that he takes his business seriously and genuinely cares about the animals he watches. The biggest sign that my dog had a great time was when I picked him up—he kept looking back at the house like he wanted to stay! That alone told me he felt safe, comfortable, and well cared for. From the updates you could really tell how much they were bonding and getting to know our dogs. They are very professional and really make the extra effort to understand the dogs and make sure they have everything they need to be happy and settled while they are away. My dogs exhibited some territorial behavior when a new dog came to stay, but they were able to handle the situation with care and thoughtfulness.
