About: Hi there! My name has since changed to *Romeo* as I am queer :) Ive had experience with all sorts of animals since I was a young! My heart however has always lied with dogs. Ive lived with, trained, and taken care of dogs from age 15. Professionally, I am currently a counselor at Camp Bow Wow! I’ve been working there for over a year now, learning and applying a wide range of skills. In this role I’ve learned some key skills on how to ensure companions are safe and happy: 1. Body language: I observe everything from your dog’s head to tail to minimize reactivity due to human- animal misunderstandings 2. Health indicators: although I’m not a vet, I was trained to recognize irregular symptoms a dog may be displaying such as stool texture and consistency, body temperature, excessive panting and drooling, gum color, etc. Anything your dog may be struggling with from itchy skin to something greater, I’ll notify you right away! 3. Communication: parents love hearing about their babies and seeing them happy and comfortable! By regular communication, this allows me to get clear instructions to follow, assess any changes needed in care or routine, and stay up to date in case of any rapid changes or emergencies. In addition, what sets me apart is my artistic attention to detail, which allows me to adapt to your dogs needs in a creative way. I like to challenge myself by finding ways to stimulate and enrich your dog while you are away! I’m very relaxed, quiet, and easygoing, but also spontaneous and go-with-the-flow should your dog get the zoomies! I’ll get mine out with him :) Lastly, I respect peoples spaces/ privacy and always clean up behind myself after using something in your space. I'd love to give your dog my unconditional love and undivided attention. Your baby is not just a pet, they are our best friends who depend on us. So Relax while you’re away, and leave the fun stuff to me! Looking for regular/ recurring clients :) I currently work part time on weekdays, twice a day for up to 7 hours. I understand that your dog may either be a nature pet or a couch potato, and I'm able to adapt to your pets needs depending on their personality. I'm clean, quiet, and active when need be. Cleanliness is a priority for me. Cleaning up waste properly and right away is a must, including picking up poop during walks.

About: In highschool I was very popular in my neighborhood from doing there dog nails, to dog sitting, over night stays, and even medications. Even back in high school I had a part time and school and still made sure the fur babies were taken care of. To this day I still dog sit for my neighbor. I also worked at a doggy daycare for about 6 months then i moved, I learned so much while I was there in that short period of time from learning to gain respect and how to control a group of 15+ dogs . And was in a animal science program in highschool with a mentorship at a clinic, then tried to go to college for my vet tech degree but too expensive(still paying that off). I also do have a very energetic German shepherd who I train every day she knows pretty much everything(sit, lay down, roll over,paw, other paw,high five, spin, heel, center, look, leave it, back up, and wait). I also dog sat for my boyfriend's coworker who had an older pointer who had a seziure not only did I comfort the dog but I called owner asap then vet, I then called off of work. Just because it's not my animal doesn't mean I will love them any less. But the take away from all that is I have a lot of experience in the animal department. I'm currently working part time and have a lot of free time on my hands and love being around animals . I only work wensday-saturday the other days I'm free. But as you can see with my profile I do have my own fur baby but my boyfriend never works nights or weekends so she won't be alone. For the pets at clients housing not only will I respond to you text asap even if I'm busy, I will also ask for guide lines and try to keep your dog on the schedule you have them on consistency is key, especially when a change like you leaving happens. I also am a big over thinker so before I let the dog out if you have a yard I will always make sure the gates are close and secure and make sure there's nothing laying out that would harm them. When I dog sit I imagine as if it's my own dog.

About: I’ve been using Rover since 2020, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets🐾 I also worked with Puppy Yoga Club, caring for 6–8 puppies during weekend classes where I would keep them safe, supervised, entertained, and well cared for throughout the day. I’m very patient, responsible, and comfortable with dogs of different personalities. My goal is to make sure your pet feels happy, loved, and safe while you enjoy peace of mind. 🐶❤️🐱 My schedule is pretty flexible, I currently work another job for about 8–10 hours per week, so I have plenty of availability throughout the week for walks, house sitting and pet care. I’m happy to communicate ahead of time and work around your pet’s routine & needs. My goal is to make scheduling easy and convenient for both you and your furry friend! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. When caring for a pet in their home, I make sure to follow the owner’s instructions and keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. I pay close attention to doors, gates, leashes, and anything else that could create a safety concern. I will also make sure food, medications, toys, and other pet supplies are handled exactly as instructed. I understand that being welcomed into someone’s home is a big responsibility. About: I've owned dogs and cats all my life and have a wealth of experience watching and caring for animals for both friends and family. I'm well-acquainted with the needs and understand the body language of dogs, cats, and birds. I also am experienced with the more advanced care of senior animals as well as the delicate approach necessary for anxious animals. I work part-time with a flexible schedule and plan to be a student in the near future. I'm typically free on weekends and I am happy to work with you directly and adjust my schedule as best as I am able to fit your needs. I am well-accustomed to the routine care needed for animal care, with special attention given to ensure that your pet is not bored. Playtime is very important for your animals physical and mental well-being! I'm also experienced with administering medications and following any special instructions to the letter that your pet may need. About: New to Rover! I have 20+ years, like most of you, taking care of dogs (all ages & size) walking, training & loving. Raised in Rochester & know all the best parks & trails. I have an SUV and don’t mind taking the dogs places if requested. Night shift worker during the week, I make lots of time for my puppy at home and would love to make time for your dog during the day. I’m available all days of the week, unfortunately that doesn’t mean I’m available all the time but can make time each day of the week if necessary. Just reach out, your odds are high that I can help I know how important pets are to everyone’s family and will treat yours like you do at home, or better :) Learning your dogs behavior is a key to success, the more information the better (behavior around dogs, people, children, chewing, barking) to know if they are acting different in any way. I get excited each time I meet new parents of dogs, i wouldn’t trust some nobody with my dog unless I got to know them first, I am in my mid twenties and have lived in pittsford/penfield for most of life, I do not drink if that matters to you, I’d say based off appearance I look pretty clean unless it’s cold out then you may only be seeing what’s visible under my hood or hat. I’m well educated in the do’s and don’ts on what is safe and unsafe for dogs and puppies to accidentally eat. Coming from a family that has dealt with Lyme Disease I take precaution in where my dogs are roaming, and always checking my puppy and past dogs constantly for ticks

About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals and would care for your furry family members as if they were my own. I grew up with both large and small dogs, from Shih Tzus to Rottweilers, and now have Huskies of my own. I’ve also grown up with cats and currently have a Maine Coon. My love for animals extends beyond dogs and cats—I also have a saltwater aquarium that brings me so much joy, and I’ve had a passion for wildlife and all kinds of animals from a young age. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and getting to know their unique personalities. I’d love the opportunity to help care for your pets and give them the same love, attention, and care I give my own. I’m happy to help in any way I can! I work nights, so I have plenty of availability every morning and afternoon. I’d love to use that free time to care for and spend time with animals who need a little extra love and attention while their families are away.
