“Adrienne was an outstanding caregiver to our pets - dog, cat, and fish - over a 3 week trip. She sent daily updates and was very attentive to their care and needs. She endeared herself to our dog and cat very quickly - it was evident from the photos that our reclusive cat loved being with Adrienne and our dog took great comfort with her love and attention. Adrienne is very professional while at the same time being very personable. I hope to call on her again when we travel.”

“I left town for four days and booked Chandler to stay at home with my two French bulldogs. She was absolutely amazing & truly made my trip so much better because I did not feel the need to worry about my dogs. She was extremely communicative, sent multiple pictures & adhered to their schedules perfectly. I’m very protective of who I let my dogs stay with and this was their first stay with anyone besides me and I’m really happy that I found Chandler through Rover! My dogs were so comfortable and happy with her. I highly recommend booking her for anyone who is looking for a pet sitter and I will deff be rebooking her!”

Gracie is usually very anxious to be without me but with Serena by her side, she ate while I was gone on the first day (this is huge for her!), played, enjoyed belly rubs, and had a very caring and considerate human around to be with! You want to hire Serena, she’s my new preferred dog sitter ❤️”

“I reached out to Gabi last minute because I had to go out of town for a sick family member. She was able to come and stay with my baby on very short notice and even came back for a few walks when I needed some additional support. She stayed in constant communication and was super helpful. I would definitely use her again!”

About: I have owned pets most of my life. I have cared for dogs, cats, and many other animals. I have been pet sitting outside of Rover for many years. I have a very sweet pitbull and do not discriminate against any breed! I understand the importance of trust and communication while allowing someone to care for your pet! I will always go above and beyond to give extra love to your furry friend, not just take care of basic needs. *If interested in boarding please note that I do have a 66 pound Pit mix. He previously lived with another dog, a cat, and two toddlers. He is very friendly with absolutely zero aggression. He will not stand up for himself. I would be happy to do a meet and greet in my home or on neutral ground. If your pet is not compatible with large male dogs, please do not request this service. Alternatively, I would be happy to pet sit or stop in for longer visits. I work from home part time with very flexible hours. I can easily fit any needed pet care into my routine. I am available for drop ins or walks anytime after 9am. I do not board more than 2 pets at a time. Though I do not personally crate, I will if it's the routine of your pet and the crate is provided. My home is equipped with baby gates and large bedrooms so I am prepared to separate without your furry friend feeling too cooped up, should the need arise. I do not have a fenced backyard. Walks will be given a minimum of 3 times a day. 4-5 walks is my normal routine, though I am happy to follow your pets cues or their routine. My neighborhood is pet friendly with walking trails and lots of shaded areas. I have a deck with a large umbrella and dog beds, perfect if your pet likes to sunbathe as mine does!

“Brenna was so sweet, super friendly and kept in touch with pictures of my pups. She definitely made me feel comfortable especially this being my first time having a dog sitter I will be booking her again.”

Mike sent us daily updates and was patient with us when our door lock acted crazy. He gave us a peace of mind while we were away so we could not our trip without a single worry. Thank you Mike!”

About: Hi, I’m a 23-year-old University of Maryland graduate currently working remotely in sales. As someone who lives with and cares for two dogs and four cats at my family home, I understand the love and dedication it takes to care for pets. I’ve been caring for animals since childhood, starting with my first cat, Jumper, and have gained experience with everything from kittens and puppies to senior pets. Joining Rover allows me to bring structure to my remote workdays while helping others care for their furry family members. Whether you need someone to walk your dog, provide companionship, or handle special needs, I’m here to help! I’m currently working full-time remotely, so I am able to visit pets most times throughout the day. During the evenings and weekends I am usually free! I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. I maintain a clean, secure, and pet-friendly environment, following any specific care instructions you provide. Whether it’s feeding schedules, medications, or special routines, I’ll make sure your pet is happy, healthy, and comfortable. Your pet will always be supervised and loved, with plenty of playtime and attention!

Beth sat for us for a long weekend and there are not enough positive words to describe how wonderful she is!! First and most important, our animals loved her and she took incredible care of them! One of our dogs takes it very hard when we leave and the care and compassion she showed for our sweet and sad dog was just amazing. I can never thank her enough for her true compassion. Beth also gave us daily updates and sent pictures. When we got home the animals were happy and the house was in great shape. I cannot recommend Beth highly enough! She did a fantastic job and we will absolutely use her services again.

Caroline took great care of my pets while we were out of town. It was a last minute booking and she was flexible and helpful throughout the entire process. Our dogs were taken on many walks + got lots of cuddles. Caroline had great communication with us as well. Thank you for everything!

Rebecca was absolutely fantastic with our fur babies! We have a cat and an older dog with digestive issues that requires specific care. Usually, we travel with our pets, but unfortunately, this time, we couldn’t. I’m a nervous wreck when I leave them with anyone else because of past experiences and illnesses that have occurred in my absence. Before booking, Rebecca was completely transparent about any prior commitments that might take her away from our home for a few hours. She wanted to ensure that this would still be a good fit for our dog’s well-being. I really appreciated that Rebecca was incredibly kind and attuned to the needs of our animals. She handled them with the utmost patience and understanding. I believe her to be incredibly trustworthy, and both our dog and cat absolutely adored her. I received countless photos, videos, and updates of our dog doing her happy dance, taking naps, and snuggling up on the couch with Rebecca. One day our dog had an upset stomach which is always a cause for concern with her chronic health issues, and Rebecca went above and beyond to ensure that she did everything possible to care for her properly. She kept me fully in the loop and even offered to cook rice and broth for her in case she needed to settle her stomach. I mentioned that sweet potato usually helps her eat again if needed, and Rebecca offered to drive and pick one up so that she could ensure it was a good quality for my dog, rather than me having one delivered to the house: Thankfully my dog finally decided to eat her food and got better in the evening but like I said, she went above and beyond. I would/will hire Rebecca again and entrust her with our fur babies without hesitation. She was simply phenomenal and is a pet owner’s dream come true. Rebecca, Thank you so much for taking such excellent care of our fur babies!

Lauren is amazing and we would highly recommend her to anyone needing pet sitting. A week before Lauren was scheduled to watch our puppy overnight, our puppy required emergency surgery which in turn required extra care from Lauren. She stopped by a few days beforehand to go over our puppy’s care and then took fantastic care of her overnight a few days later. She also gave us great updates throughout her stay! We cannot recommend her enough!!
