“Melina is great with all of our pets! She kept us updated and sent photos of all four pets for each drop in. My dog loves her and even the shyest cat comes out to see her during her visits.”

“Angelique is the BEST!!! I have an elderly 14 year old Pitmix with high dietary supplement and high care needs. My character-judgung do g took to ger instantly with her loving animal vibe. She was loving, patient and took pics with sweet notes to settle any of my anxiousness about leaving her. She also took amazing care of my shy cat and my mouse. She sent us lots of pictures and videos and went completely above and beyond what was expected. We are so grateful and will definitely ask Megan to take care of our pup again, especially since I’m pretty sure our dog misses her already. Thank you so much, Megan!”

About: Hello! I’m Alicia and I am starting out as a Rover sitter! Lifelong dog lover with years of experience caring for puppies, seniors, and everything in between. I treat every dog like family—yours will be in great hands! I work part-time from home with a flexible schedule, so I’m available throughout the day to give your dog plenty of attention, care, and love. Your dog’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. I provide a calm, secure, and welcoming environment where they’ll feel right at home. I have two friendly dogs of my own and also care for my housemate’s dog and cat, so I’m experienced in managing multiple pets with different needs and personalities. You can trust that your pup will be treated with love, respect, and constant supervision while in my care.

About: I’ve loved animals since childhood and have over 10 years of experience in pet care. I approach pets with both confidence and affection. I enjoy getting to know the unique personalities and helping them feel safe and loved. In addition to caring for other people’s pets I’ve had many of my own Including three cats and seven dogs ranging in age from six weeks to 14 years old. I’ve trained and walked dogs of all sizes from Chihuahuas to bull breeds in the neighborhoods and along nature trails. I’ve also taken dog training classes and have volunteered at the Oakland SPCA. I’ve trained puppies, and I’ve cared for older pets. I’m here to meet your pet’s care needs with compassion, reliability, and the experience they deserve. I’m looking for work. I can do in the afternoon and or evenings Monday through Friday and occasionally weekends. I am also available for late night check-in if you need it. I offer dog walking and dog/cat sitting. I will closely follow the routines and instructions shared to ensure your pets care is up to you and your pets standards

About: Rover is an amazing thing in my family's life. Our whole household REALLY LOVES DOGS. We love all the different dog personalities we get to know. We genuinely appreciate pet families trusting us to care for their pet(s). Boarding is our most used and preferred service of the Tree House. We have many regular clients who use our Boarding and Doggy Day Care services. We love all sizes of dogs and the full range of dog personalities. We host up to 4 guest dogs at a time and are very conscientious of the dogs we host and how they will interact. Therefore, if your dog does not do well with other dogs, our house may not be a great fit for your pet. We get requests for exclusive bookings, and where we can accommodate these requests, we will. ****price for exclusive bookings is 2X our service rate, currently $150/night or day care slot**** We require all new clients to do a meet- & -greet, so we can only accommodate last-minute new clients if we get a solid referral from another sitter, you are a friend of the family, or one of our regular clients referred you. We have found our guests do much better when they have been here and sniffed about before their stay. Your dog(s) will be loved and treated with the utmost respect by every member of our household and any other guests. Our home is very relaxed, and our backyard is a dog paradise with lots of shade and different areas for dogs to claim their own space. We always have a crew of dogs, so your dog will have plenty of stimulation and exercise while at our home. We work from home and are here nearly all the time. Pickup and drop-off times are flexible—the key is communication and consideration—fees may apply where either is lacking. The yard has plenty of room for guests to stretch it out and find their own space. We are happy to accommodate crating, and problem children will have some sort of time out until they can ground and be good guests. We are not disciplinarians but are pretty good at setting boundaries thru timeouts and rewards.

“Korin was on time and communicative! She was great with Tater and I really appreciated how patient she was when Tater was WAY over excited when she came over for a meet and greet. Would love to book her again in the future!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and own animals since I was 15 years old. I have fluctuated from having dogs, cats, and even chinchillas! I have used rover in the past for my own animals and know what it is like to be a fur baby mama and how it can be hard and scary to find the right person for the job! I treat every animal like my own, I give them love, patience and attention! All of my animals have been rescues and have all had their own life struggles that has only made me a better mom to them. I work full-time, but it is very flexible and allows me to go and let my dogs out when needed or do drop ins. Weekends, evenings and some Fridays I am completely off work and able to engage in your animals. Safety is a priority! I have had my share of bad Rover experiences and would never want animal parents to go through that! Knowing fully what is needed and what can be done to provide the safest and best care to your animal is priority

Alicia L.
“It’s clear that Alicia has a natural gift with animals. Over the years, I’ve watched her care for her own dogs, and others’ pets, with genuine love and commitment. She’s been a dedicated dog owner for over 12 years and consistently treats every animal like family. Alicia is reliable, attentive, and goes above and beyond to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.”

Mia A.
“Mia has a gift for working with animals. She started having pets at a young age with fish, mice, hamsters and birds, taking joy in interacting with them, feeding them, always being the first one to notice any health concerns. As she grew older she went to zoo camp, to SCPA camp, and she graduated to counselor sharing her love of animals with other children. Over the last few years she has regularly walked her many dogs, cleaned up after them, made sure they received needed vet care and nursed them back to health after surgery or illness. When younger, she would walk her two Chihuahua mixes, and helped care for them as they aged, became less mobile, and needed extra attention and medications. As a young adult, she raised one puppy Pit Bull from 6 weeks (now 5 years old), and adopted a mistreated Pit/Lab mix, who is now her best friend and companion. She is excellent at ensuring their routines are followed and spending quality time with them. She uses treats wisely, and has trained her dogs to follow her lead, sit and wait when commanded. She ensures regular vet care and gives medications, applies lotions and other vet-prescribed care with kindness. As she has started dog walking and care professionally, she has been a reliable, trusted caregiver. She has demonstrated her capacity with all types of dogs and her understanding that dogs not only need food, water and walking or play, but also interaction, reassurance, and love. I admire her ease with and love for animals, and am glad she can share her gift with other pet owners.”

Chad A.

“Chad has all the perfect traits of a dog sitter. He loves every dog, no matter its size or temperament. He is kind, patient, and responsible. I have known his own dogs over the past quarter century, and they have all been very happy, long-lived companions. I would not hesitate to leave my beloved companions on Chad's care.”

Korin M.

“Korin was on time and communicative! She was great with Tater and I really appreciated how patient she was when Tater was WAY over excited when she came over for a meet and greet. Would love to book her again in the future!”

Nicola & Michael A.

“Nina has watched Tigerlily on multiple occasions and we’ve had great experiences! She had watched Lily for me while I’ve been at work and she’s had no problems walking and feeding Lily. Lily seems really excited every time she sees Nina and that’s a green flag for me when my dog loves her petsitter. In addition, se has sent me occasional pictures videos of lily and those pictures and videos always brighten my day.”

“Alexander is great with all animals but especially dogs. He's caring, attentive, and really pays attention to your pup and all their needs. He's fast to arrive, easy to work with, and very generous on pricing.”

Kelly W.

“Kelly has watched all of my animals for years now. I have a cat that is very particular about humans, and to my surprise, my cat was instantly in love with Kelly. I’ve always compared her to an animal whisperer, because I’ve yet to know any animals who didn’t adore her. She just has a way with animals! I always feel safe traveling knowing my fur babies are well taken care of once I’ve booked with kelly. She actually takes her time to play and bond with the animal, and which is so important to us. Super responsible and highly reliable. Definitely recommend!!”

Gary P.

“Thanks Gary for dropping in to let Tamarind out of the house for a bathroom break and with feeding her while I was away. Much appreciated!”

Amelia O.
“Amelia is a true animal whisperer. She is able to wrangle my Australia cattle dog Paris and get him to behave, whether through voice command or the enticement of treats (or pets). She brings an aura of ease and respect that dogs (and cats) recognize to be on their best behavior.”
