About: I've been an avid pet lover my whole life! I have taken care of cats and dogs for many years. I have taken care of senior animals with special medications in the past as well, as well as some training, and have even helped dogs in giving birth. I am currently a stay-at-home dog mom! I can meet any potty or feeding schedules. I can provide lots of love and care and give your baby as much love as they need. I have a fenced backyard with plenty of space for pups to play. I have two Australian Shepherds who love other dogs and are very friendly. I also have a cat who loves to play with dogs. Couch cuddles and playing ball are some of our favorites.

“I had a great experience with Auriel! Communication was excellent throughout the entire stay. They took wonderful care of my pup! I appreciated the updates and pictures, which showed how happy and comfortable my dog was.”

“Very responsive, always sent pictures when I inquired and I don’t know what she did, but she got my dog to get along with other dogs in the house :)”

“I cannot rave enough about Lynann. I am VERY overprotective of my, almost 15 year old, dog and Lynann did an AMAZING job at putting my mind at ease regarding leaving my pup with her. I received updates and pictures throughout the day for my dog and she came home exhausted and happy. I would highly recommend Lynann to anyone looking for someone to care for your pup. She is definitely our new go-to dog sitter.”

About: Hey, I’m Nickey — a stay-at-home mom, dog lover, and proud pet parent of four big pups (who are kept completely separate from guests). I specialize in caring for small dogs only, giving them all the attention and comfort they deserve in a safe, loving home. I also have three little ones, ages 2 to 9, who are gentle and used to being around animals. If needed, I’m happy to keep your pup in their own quiet space away from the kids to ensure everyone stays relaxed and happy. I know how important it is to leave your dog somewhere that feels like home. That’s why I offer: • A stress-free environment just for small dogs • One-on-one attention • Frequent photo + video updates • A calm, cozy routine filled with love, care, and belly rubs Let’s set up a meet-and-greet — I’d love to welcome your little one into my care 🐾✨ I’m a stay-at-home mom with a flexible schedule, which means your pup will get plenty of love and attention throughout the day! I’m available for both weekday and weekend boarding and daycare, and I’m home full-time — no rushing in or out. Whether it’s a short stay or a week-long vacation, your dog will be well cared for in a calm, cozy environment. Your dog’s safety is my top priority. I only accept small dogs, and I already have four large dogs of my own who stay in a separate part of the home. I also have three young kids (ages 2–9) who are great around pets but can be kept completely separate if needed. I provide a secure, smoke-free, kid-aware environment with lots of supervision, soft spaces to rest, and plenty of cuddles. I’m happy to crate your dog if requested and will follow any feeding, potty, or nap routines you provide.

“Makena is AMAZING! She took all three of my pups and it was their first time doing doggy daycare but I felt reassured with her check-ins and shared photos. The dogs came home tired and happy. I will definitely be rebooking with her again in the future!!”

“Kayla was great! She sent tons of videos and pictures, gave lots of updates and went super above and beyond in every way. Will definitely be bringing our dog back to her.”

About: Hi! I’m Penelope :) I provide loving, dependable care tailored to your pet’s unique needs- whether that’s playtime and plenty of walks for high energy pups, or a calm cozy space for senior dogs to rest and relax. I’m attentive, patient, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality. Your furry friend will be treated like family, with lots of affection, routine, and care you can count on! Ps: picture number 5 is how excited I feel around dogs! I’m currently working from home part-time, so I have plenty of time to walk your pets, feed, play, and just hangout! I have availability for all days of the week. I have a large fenced in yard and have a 4 year old Spaniel-mix named Mia! I’d be happy to go on walks, play tug of war, or throw the ball :) pets and cuddles are always included!

About: I have had animals my whole life. I grew up in a house with at least 5 dogs so I have been taking care of them for years. I am a pawrent myself of one dog, her name is Ivy and she is a Samoyed (very friendly and loving) so I understand how stressful it can be to leave your dog with someone you don't know, we will do our best to make sure your fur baby feels like home the whole time they are here! :) I work remotely so I will be home full time watching your babies. I am typically up by 8am so that's when I will take them for their first walk then breakfast after. I also have a fenced in backyard so they will have plenty of playtime outside and lots of bathroom breaks. The dogs will be supervised the whole time, including when they are outside in my fenced in backyard, They will always be only under my care and because I work from home I am able to keep an eye on them the whole day.

About: I have 20+ years experience in pet care, pet stores, dog training, and pet sitting. I have trained my own service dog and have worked with ALL animals. I work from home so I have plenty of time for pet care. I get 5 breaks in 8 hours, and have no kids or roommates to change routines. I have one dog myself who is playful and socialized. She is fixed. I have a spare crate if your dog is crate trained, I have the ability to manage every room of my house separately if needed (baby gates, doors, etc). My yard is not fenced, however dogs are ALWAYS supervised and leashed outside. I make an effort to not overlap clients, so the dogs can get one-on-one time.

“Great sitter. I felt very comfortable leaving my boy with Chantel. Both her and her boyfriend were very nice and definitely animal people. I got a really good vibe from them. Great communication which is so so sooo important to me. Romeo was excited to see her every morning. We now have a sitter every time we come back to WPB. Thank you Chantel!!”

About: I first joined Rover back in 2013 and loved every moment of caring for dogs, but I paused when I moved to Blacksburg for college (Go Hokies!). As someone who’s had dogs my entire life, I understand how important it is to find a safe, loving place for your furry family members. We live in a cozy house with a big, secure yard where dogs can play and stretch their legs. Since we work from home, we’re able to provide constant care and attention to your pup throughout the day. Whether they’re lounging inside, playing outside, or enjoying belly rubs, they’ll always be in great hands. Our dog, Canela, is sweet and friendly, and we’d love to welcome some new friends for her to hang out with! We know how busy life can get, and we’re here to give your pup the love and care they need while you focus on your other commitments. Let us know how we can help—we can’t wait to meet your pup! Having a pet is such an integral part of our lives! Our dog, Canela, is like family, and we’ve structured our daily routine to ensure she gets the care, attention, and activity she needs. We start the day with morning walks or playtime in the yard to get some energy out and set a positive tone. Since we work from home, we’re able to take regular breaks to check on her, give her attention, and make sure she’s happy and comfortable. Walks at Veterans Park or play sessions in the yard are a regular part of the afternoon as well. In the evenings, we wind down together with cuddles, belly rubs, and quality time. On weekends, we often plan outings like park visits, light hikes, or longer walks to keep her engaged and active. When we host other dogs, they fit seamlessly into this routine. Whether they love being outdoors or lounging inside, we make sure every pup feels right at home and cared for throughout the day! Our home is a welcoming and secure environment where dogs can relax and feel at ease. The yard is plenty spacious, giving the dogs plenty of room to play safely. Inside, we create a calm, cozy atmosphere with plenty of supervised attention to ensure everyone feels right at home. Since we work from home, we’re always around to keep an eye on the pups, whether they’re playing, resting, or exploring. We understand how important trust is when leaving your furry family member with someone, and we’ll make sure you stay updated with photos and messages so you can feel completely at ease. Our goal is to provide a safe, loving space where your pup can have a fun, stress-free stay while you take care of your other commitments!

About: I’ve had my pillbull/lab mix, Belle, for 4 years. We adopted her when she was 7 weeks old and so I have experience with puppy training. Prior to Belle, I had a Chihuahua named Piper. I do not discriminate against small or large dogs. I also used to pet sit for a senior border collie during the week. I absolutely adore all animals big or small, young or old. Being away from home is scary for our furry family members but given all the love, pets and cuddles along with a furry friend to show them the ropes can ease their anxiety. I am a teacher and so I am fully available the during the week and weekends over the summer and holiday breaks to commit to pet care. I can keep any dogs schedule as normal as possible. I have a fully fenced nearly half acre backyard for dogs to run and play. My dog is very friendly and loves to make new friends to play with. Pets will have free range of the yard and home. They can enjoy a nice nap on the couch or run in the yard. A Fresh, filtered water bowl is always available. At my house, dogs are spoiled with love. They get lots of cuddles, kisses and doggy treats. People food is strictly off limits.

About: i have taken care of dogs for 25 years i love to take care of my family members dogs and also my friends and i love dogs I will have plenty of time to take the dogs out and to have them feed and i will make sure to put extra time to be more play time then anything else i will feed them give them water and if they need a bathroom i will give them a bath and i will walk the dogs

About: There’s just nothing as special as having a pet in your life. They are always so happy and so willing to comfort you when you need it. And they all have such wonderfully different and unique personalities! I love being there for animals because they’ve been there for me so often. I truly believe that it’s my duty to bring as much happiness into the world as possible! One of the first things to know about me as a sitter is that I’m available full time. That means that I’m happy to work around unorthodox or busy schedules! Since not everyone works regular hours, I’m all too happy to accommodate those of us that may need help at irregular hours. I’ll be able to do everything within my abilities to help you and your fur baby out! My experience with animals is plentiful! I have been a lifelong dog owner, and I am currently the proud parent of a Hound Mix we rescued last year and a cat and ferret. I’ve taken care of animals big and small, so I’m all too happy to look after pups of all stripes. I have also worked at a kennel facility in the past, and gained lots of great experience there as well. I worked primarily with dogs to make sure that they were fed, taken out, and played with regularly, which is perfect for me as a dog sitter! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your animal and your care expectations. No one knows your fur baby better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their animal tick! Finally, I just love meeting new animals! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I’m currently working part-time and have plenty of time to take care of your furry friends! Even if I’m working, I’m usually away for less than 6 hours at a time. And guess what? My spouse and I have opposite schedules, so one of us is usually home and takes care of the animals all the time! I have a big backyard for dogs to play in and a decently sized home to take in animals of all shapes and sizes! However they deem comfortable at your home is how they will be treated at mine, whether that means they get crated while you’re away or they’re not allowed on the couch, I respect your boundaries and rules you have for your animal.
