About: I’m patient, caring, dependable, reliable and take my dog out on walks every day. I work from home so I will be with your beloved pet at all times. I work from home and have one dog who I walk daily. Most of my time is spent with my dog and if your dog stays with us, they will be with us all day. I do live in an apartment, however, I am active and attentive so I can provide a lot of activity outdoors or spend time with your dog indoors if that’s what they prefer.

Jojo obviously had a great time and came home exhausted from a day full of fun! Cheryl provided updates throughout his stay and sent photos and videos of him having fun with his friends! About: I have had a dog ever since I can remember and I am 69 yrs old. I have TIME and am reliable, because I am retired. I made sure my kids grew up with a dog and now they have my grand dogs which I love to babysit. I lost my last dog (he was 14) in 2018 and I knew I was going to retire (and travel) in 2021 so now I have my grand dogs and all my friends dogs to babysit and get my fix. I also have volunteered for Path of Hope rescue since I retired. I have a medium sized doggie door out to a wonderful patio and yard fully fenced with 6 ft high vinyl fence. I love dogs so much. They are just the most loving, gentle, and FUN animals put on this earth. I am a walker, so all dogs that stay at my house get walked everyday, with a ton of love and affection. I am going to start Rover on Jan. 2026!!!! I am retired, so I would love to walk your dogs during the day for you. (I am a daily walker anyway :) so why not?) If they stay with me, my home is perfect with a fenced yard, medium sized doggie door (but I do love and will have larger dogs too) and they will get a lot of love and attention. While I prefer crate trained dogs, it does not mean they would be in their crate during the day unless you say it is needed if I leave the house. If not crate trained I would be okay if they are a very well trained dog :) My home is just me, so dogs will get that one on one attention. I am retired so I can accommodate any feeding/walking schedules that are needed.

I've worked at an animal clinic, volunteered with dogs and cats at many rescues including Mutts and Meow Rescue and Hidden Gem Pet Rescue, and worked at a dog daycare. I had a Cocker spaniel named Bella growing up, and currently have a golden retriever mix named Indy and two kitties named Misty and Callie. I enjoy walking, giving many pets, treats and doing tricks with dogs! I am dependent and on time, have flexible availablility, and have experience with animal emergencies and medications. About: I adore all breeds and sizes. I've cared for a dog most every year of my life, whether I was a student, working, vacationing, or just existing. Those years have trained me to read them well as far as knowing what they are communicating at any given time. I find it difficult to be without a furry friend. However, I'm retired and thinking of traveling in the future, so thought this Rover program would give me my "dog fix" until I'm ready to start my traveling. I've had babies, adults, and teens when it comes to dogs, and many varieties; Border Collies, German Shepherds, Irish Setters, Poodles, Golden Retrievers, Old English Sheepdogs, Terriers, and have trained and loved them all! I'm retired but do go to a recreational center daily to work out and swim, so I'm available for dog sitting, playing, and walking M-F after 1PM. And weekends after noon. I have a fenced yard partly in sun and partly in shade. I also have a dog door from inside the house out to the yard, so your dog can go outside anytime the urge hits. I'm also within 1 mile of 3 parks and the Finch Arboretum.
