I currently work very part time at home on a flexible schedule so I would have plenty of time to either drop in on or walk your dog(s). About: I’ve worked & volunteer at shelters for about 5 years and have experience working with different types of dogs such as reactive, fearful, shy and friendly; as well of many different breeds. I was crossed trained as a veterinary assistant and have given medication before. I’ve earn my CCTBS (Certified Canine Training and Behavior Specialist) with the Animal Behavior Institute and I’m in my last quarter to compete my Advanced Canine Certification as well as my Feline Certification. I offer both Dog & Cat training services! I do have a full time job that is in the evening however this gives me ample time to provide quality care such as play time and long walks in the morning and checking on them late at night for one last potty break and ensuring everything is locked up so your pet is safe & sound. If you leave detailed instructions, I will follow them to a T. I can also provide photos frequently to show your pet having fun and relaxing at home safely. If a concern arises, I will immediately notify you no matter how small. You can always reach out about anything and everything, I love communicating and would want the same if someone was caring for my animals.

About: I've had dogs my whole life and have taken many obedience classes through the years. I understand and can entertain different personalities. I will carry over all your rules or lack thereof, depending on your wishes. Chester and I look forward to meeting your four-legged family member! Also, I adore senior dogs; they are the 'bestest' dogs and I frequently tell them so. My sweet Wilson (the black dog in some of my pics) passed away recently at the age of 13 and I miss him SO much but it makes me happy to remember our connection and know that he lived a great life ♥️ I'm an artist and work at home, so I am here almost all the time and can cater to the needs/wants of the dogs. Your dog will have the run of the house with Chester at all times, including if I go on an errand, etc. I'm also always happy to work with your dog's norm and training, I am on the South Hill, about 8 minutes from downtown and the freeway, very convenient and easy to find. Also will send you pics and updates while your dog is here :) We have a secure, fenced yard which the dogs have the run of. Two doggie doors - one to the house and one to my backyard art studio - allows the dogs to be where they want to be. If your dog is unfamiliar with - or not great - at pet doors, no worries, I am happy to let them in and out the old-fashioned way! I welcome the opportunity for you and your pet to meet us before your dog's vacation begins! At this time you can also provide me with details of your pet's personality, schedule, and special needs. This also gives your dog the chance to get acquainted with the surroundings and give their stamp of approval. For first timers, I require this (at no cost of course).
