About: I have had many dogs and numerous reptiles, fish for the last 30 years. I had a lab that was chronically ill since a puppy and provided extensive care. Senior care for our Dobermans I am currently working as a Speech Pathologist in the Valley; however, I am very active and available to care for your house and Pets and have Friday and Saturday off and dream of not having to rent again and just do house sitting. i am usually off by 3:10. I owned two homes off of Rockwood for 25 years. I have been renting about seven years. I have taken excellent care of my houses and the yard and I love to clean. My daughter is at WSU snd I don’t need a big house any longer, and I would like to housesit and take care of your pets. Let me know if I can help you with any house cleaning or laundry while I am there. I would be happy to help you with daily routine care of your house. I do enjoy being busy. I can care for your pets in your house for an extended length of time. About: I have always had many pets in my house. I currently take care of my 3 cats and have 3 dogs at home who i love dearly. I go to school part-time at WWU and work a part-time job. Pet care is the perfect hobby for me because I love animals and spending time with my pets. I walk my dogs regularly and clean litter boxes and food and water bowls, as well as keep my animals happy and cuddled! I also bathe my dogs and groom them. About: I’ve been pet and house sitting for friends, family, and neighbors for 10 years now. I have had dogs of my own, and I currently live with two lovely golden retrievers. I enjoy helping others in this way by alleviating stress and making sure their pet(s) are well cared for while they’re away! Katie is an amazing pet sitter, we were lucky to select her to look after our pets. At the last minute before our trip, our leopard gecko escaped her cage and got injured by a door. Katie took the gecko to her house and took very good care of her, including giving her five separate medications and even going to the pharmacy to pick one medication up. She did all this while looking after our other pets. She also made sure to send us lots of videos and kept us up to date. We can’t recommend her highly enough.
Flexible, Communicative, Reliable I've hired Kaitlyn to watch my cat (Kiki, 16lb domestic shorthair tuxedo) twice now over the last seven or so months, and she has been exceptional both times! On both occasions I had to ask for extensions on the sitting arrangement due to delays in traveling, and she was very forthright in being able to accommodate my requests and convey any limitations she had. She also gave great write-ups on how my cat appeared to be feeling and was behaving and took great care of her while doing so. Kaitlyn will be my go-to for cat sitting needs in the future and I highly recommend her services.
I cannot recommend Shontaeia highly enough. On her very first job caring for my cats, she quite literally saved one of their lives. In discussion with me, she took my cat to the emergency animal hospital. Her quick thinking, compassion, and willingness to act made all the difference. Throughout the entire ordeal, she went far above and beyond what anyone could expect from a pet sitter. She spent extra hours caring for both of my cats, making sure they were comfortable, loved, and well cared for during an incredibly stressful time. She even learned how to use a pill piller so she could administer my cat's new medication correctly. She stayed in constant communication with me, providing frequent updates, answering my questions, and brainstorming ideas with me while I was away. Knowing she was there, advocating for my cat and treating both of them as if they were her own, gave me tremendous peace of mind. If you're looking for someone who is responsible, compassionate, resourceful, and genuinely devoted to the animals in her care, I wholeheartedly recommend her. She didn't just care for my cats—she became their advocate when they needed one most, and I will always be grateful.
100% go with Kara if you’re new and trying to figure out who to have take care of your pets. I didn’t have to worry the entire time I was gone. She was so communicative and sweet to the cats and kept me updated really well. I didn’t feel worried at all the entire time :)
Willow was amazing with our three cats. I could tell they were very happy to see her each day. She was also very helpful and flexible when we had a few hiccups at the house while we were away. I will definitely call on her again to pet sit for us. She was great. Five stars!
This is my first time using Rover, and I'm so happy to have found Sarah for our two 16 year-old cats. She was prompt for each visit, communicative, and shared notes and pictures for each visit. I provided detailed notes about our one cat who requires a pill daily and insulin injections twice daily, and she did a great job. We were gone for three days and when we returned both cats seemed very content and calm, which shows that she took great care of them!
