“Maddie is a wonderful pet sitter and put me at ease right away that my pets would be well cared for! She was very communicative with how each of my pets were morning and night, not to mention the cute photos of each of them as well! I was able to fully enjoy my vacation knowing they were 100% well cared for and given lots of love ❤️ when I arrived home my pets were happy, healthy, and acted as if I hadn’t left on vacation they were so comfortable! I couldn’t recommend her enough, I will absolutely be booking with her again soon! Not to mention she is very flexible with her schedule and always willing to work with you and your pets needs (:”

About: I’ve been pet and house sitting for friends, family, and neighbors for 10 years now. I have had dogs of my own, and I currently live with two lovely golden retrievers. I enjoy helping others in this way by alleviating stress and making sure their pet(s) are well cared for while they’re away! I’m currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of time with your pets! I’m available Mondays and Tuesdays before 10am for a morning walk, and Wednesdays-Fridays any time for walks, play and quality time. Im available for pet and house sitting weekdays and weekends! When you provide the details of your pet’s routine, I’ll make sure they will be well cared for, and the routine consistent! They’ll get lots of active time and attention.
“Sophia was very kind and caring of Lucy, our 10 yo cat, while we were away for 4 days. Our visits away are so much better when we know Sophia is checking in on her!”

“Sheldon was awesome! We had him drop-in our doggie while we were away at an all-day event. At the initial meet and greet, he took time to get to know our doggie... easing into the introduction and got down on her level... and Sheldon asked us all the right questions. The drop-in appointment went perfectly. He was communicative, punctual, took lots of pictures, and gave specific details about our doggie. We felt very comfortable with him and were really happy with the service. Will definitely hire them again. Thank you, Sheldon!”

“Allison did a wonderful job caring for our indoor/outdoor cat and our two rabbits! She even watered our plants and kept an eye on things around the house. I highly recommend her, as she was genuinely caring and attentive to all our pets needs. Thank you very much! :)”
“We adore Danielle! She is an amazing dog sitter. She checks on my 3 girls when I travel for work and my hubs is at work. The dogs love her, she sends me incredible notes and pictures and is super responsive.”

“Ashton and Shelby are responsible, caring and conscientious. They are great at communicating, and showed flexibility when I had a need for an extra visit. Knowing that they were truly caring for my animals helped me have the peace of mind needed to relax and enjoy my trip. I highly recommend them and will not hesitate to hire them again. My cats, rabbits, fish and plants were all well-looked after and I really enjoyed all the photos and updates!”

About: I have helped with many people's pets who needed walked. Also have done pet sitting with house sitting. I have enjoyed meeting animals and getting to know them. I'm currently working part time and able to make plenty of time to walk and do drop in visits for other people's pets aka fur babies. I like to learn how each fur babies home is and get to know the neighborhood to keep them in an environment that helps keep them calm in their natural home area.
“Jordyn was very communicative and one of my cats came right up to her, which they don’t often do! I’d definitely book with her again if I’m out of town!”

“So wonderful! David really took the time to get my kitty to trust him. And that’s a hard thing to do, especially when he has to be given medication. By the end of their trip, he was excited to see him and looking for pets. Will be booking again! 😊”

I am clean and neat and will follow your house rules to your specifications. As a pet owner myself, I understand that your pets’ routines are important.
“Katherine was so great with my little old lady! My gal has gone deaf with her old age and a little apprehensive with, well, everything since then. But Katherine made sure to take her time warming up and getting my lady comfortable. She was even thoughtful enough to bring in my hanging plants from the balcony when we had a cold snap! My dog feeling safe and comfortable in her golden, gray-haired years is my top priority and Kathryn went above and beyond to make that happen!”

“Audrey is professional and polite. My German Shepherd warmed up to her quickly - that has only happened a handful of times! Audrey arrived on time and took great care of my pups.”

About: Hi, I’m Ryan! I’m very passionate about dogs and providing the best care possible for any that are under my watch. I’ve been pet sitting, mostly dogs, for family, friends, co-workers, neighbors etc. for the last 20+ years. All types of dogs with different temperaments, conditions and at different stages of life. I’m capable and comfortable with dogs that require medical attention. Work extremely well with puppies. I can handle any dog big or small, high-energy or low-energy, anxious or fearless. Pet sitting is a responsibility I take very seriously. When you entrust your pets to me, you can rest assured that they’ll be treated as if they were my own. With regards to availability, I’m fortunate to have a flexible schedule and the ability to work from home every day. This allows me to consistently accommodate your pet's needs and give them the care and companionship they deserve. Currently, the services I can provide are in-home sitting during the day, overnight, or for an extended period of time, drop-in visits and dog walking. Willing to coordinate a steady and stable schedule. I believe in open, transparent communication so you’ll receive regular updates on your pet’s well-being while you are away. Whether that’s ensuring they get their medications, exercise, or playtime, I’m committed to maintaining their routines and keeping them happy. Looking forward to meeting you and your pets! Very flexible schedule and the ability to work remotely. Lots of time to play and walk. Willing to coordinate a steady and stable schedule with you. I prefer to meet with the client and their pet in their home before beginning the pet sitting assignment. Develop a rapport with both the pet and the pet parent. Determine if there are any primary concerns. Record all pertinent information, including emergency contacts, veterinarian information, feeding instructions, medications, alarm codes, etc. Discuss what each visit will entail and go over a typical day in the life of your pet. Be transparent about what time I will be at your home for each visit and for how long. Make sure to discuss any secondary tasks I might be expected to perform, such as watering plants, bringing in mail, or turning the lights on and off each day. I like to proactively communicate with the pet owner. Text them when I arrive at their house and give a status update, reassuring them everything is in order and their pets are doing well. I try to be as thorough as possible. I'm good at recognizing the needs pets and responding accordingly. I'm patient and calm with pets that are withdrawn or scared. Pets are sensitive to change and may be missing their people, so I maintain their schedule as much as possible. To keep pets safe in your home, I'll prioritize creating a pet-friendly environment by removing potential hazards like toxic plants, small objects, and unsecured electrical cords, ensuring access to fresh water and food, providing regular exercise, maintaining a safe space, and being aware of any specific medical needs the pet may have. I always keep my phone charged and on me in case I need to be reached.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Latah Valley
Willow was amazing with our three cats. I could tell they were very happy to see her each day. She was also very helpful and flexible when we had a few hiccups at the house while we were away. I will definitely call on her again to pet sit for us. She was great. Five stars!

This is my first time using Rover, and I'm so happy to have found Sarah for our two 16 year-old cats. She was prompt for each visit, communicative, and shared notes and pictures for each visit. I provided detailed notes about our one cat who requires a pill daily and insulin injections twice daily, and she did a great job. We were gone for three days and when we returned both cats seemed very content and calm, which shows that she took great care of them!
