Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover, self-appointed professional cat whisperer, and firm believer that every pet deserves VIP treatment while you’re away! I volunteer at SCRAPS Animal Shelter, so I’m used to everything from cuddle bugs to “don’t look at me” gremlins. At home, I’m proudly managed by my 13-year-old cat, Mr. Meowgi, who runs the household with an iron paw. Whether your pet wants playtime, snuggles and snacks, or just someone to admire them from a far, I’ve got it covered! Don’t worry, your plant babies will get some love too! 🌱

I’ll care for your pets like they’re my own while respecting their home, routine, and boundaries. I’m happy to follow detailed instructions for feeding, litter boxes, walks, medications, playtime, and anything else that keeps them happy and comfortable. I’ll also send plenty of updates and photos so you know your fur baby is in good hands!

If you’re scrolling through Rover profiles trying to decide who you can actually trust with your pets, stop here. Katie is the person I’ve trusted with mine for the past 8 years. She doesn’t just show up, feed, and walk them to check the boxes. She treats my boys like they’re hers - learning their routines, paying attention to their individual quirks, giving them plenty of love and attention, and making sure they’re genuinely happy and comfortable while we’re away. I never have to wonder if something was forgotten or worry about the level of care they’re receiving. And caring for 3 energetic dogs takes a LOT! Katie is dependable, responsible, communicative, and someone I completely trust with both my pets and my home. My boys are always happy to see her AND she asks after them even when we’re not on vacation - which shows her level of care. There are plenty of people who can watch your pets. Katie is someone who will care for yours with as much love and joy as if they are her own.
Katie has watched my dogs, Winston and Wrigley, several times! They absolutely love when “Aunt Katie” comes over because they know they get to do extra special playtime and she has the best treats! I no longer own cats, but when I did, Katie took care of them with the same love she shows her own kitty. We no longer live in the same state, but if we did Katie would still be my go-to pet sitter!

Schedule
I currently have a very flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve! I’m available throughout the week for drop-ins, walks, playtime, snuggles, and keeping your pet’s normal routine on track.
