“Kristin was amazing and EXTREMELY attentive to my geriatric, special needs dog Mocha! Mocha is almost 16 and can only get around with a walking harness. Kristin took over halfway through my trip due to my other sitter not being available. Mocha’s schedule got thrown off due to the change, but Kristin went above and beyond to adjust Mocha ask quickly as possible and gave her all the extra attention she needed. About: I am a retired elementary school teacher and I have owned multiple pets for the past 30 years including dogs, cats, birds, and fish. I have also done paid pet sitting and housesitting during my college years. I have a great love for all animals and am experienced in caring for puppies, elderly dogs and every age in between. About: I’ve worked & volunteer at shelters for about 5 years and have experience working with different types of dogs such as reactive, fearful, shy and friendly; as well of many different breeds. I was crossed trained as a veterinary assistant and have given medication before. I’ve earn my CCTBS (Certified Canine Training and Behavior Specialist) with the Animal Behavior Institute and I’m in my last quarter to compete my Advanced Canine Certification as well as my Feline Certification. I offer both Dog & Cat training services! I do have a full time job that is in the evening however this gives me ample time to provide quality care such as play time and long walks in the morning and checking on them late at night for one last potty break and ensuring everything is locked up so your pet is safe & sound. If you leave detailed instructions, I will follow them to a T. I can also provide photos frequently to show your pet having fun and relaxing at home safely. If a concern arises, I will immediately notify you no matter how small. You can always reach out about anything and everything, I love communicating and would want the same if someone was caring for my animals.

Julia was great, very professional and she was able to accommodate a fairly last minute booking of twice daily drop-in visits over a week for my diabetic cat Pam who needs 2 shots a day of insulin. This was my first time hiring a sitter through Rover and it was such a relief being able to relax on my vacation knowing my cat was getting her meds on time and being taken care of by someone who knows what they’re doing. She is also very responsive and sent updates on my cat and how she was doing with pictures after every visit so I always looked forward to my daily Pam pics. Would definitely recommend her!
Sarah was wonderful! She was very patient with my sad, grumpy Pomchi and never let him hiding away stop her from doing her best. Would absolutely book with her again. Followed my directions as hest she could and made the most of each visit...including water my planters outside. Her notes were detailed and were supported with photos
All I can say is we LOVE Kara- cats included! She took such wonderful care of my two kitties while I was away and it was such a relief to have her there. She made me feel like she loves my girls as much as I do (which is pretty hard to match if you know me)- my shy one even warmed up to her right away which is so rare! I felt like I could relax more knowing they were being so well cared for and pampered- if anything, they probably have higher expectations for me after hanging out with Kara. She also took some frame worthy photos that I couldn’t stop looking at. Definitely recommend and DEFINITELY rebooking in the future! Thank you Kara!!!
As always, Lukas is amazing with my cats. The fact that he’s now seen all of my cats (including the one no one believes I have because they never see him!) is a testament to his patience and his bonding skills. He always sends great pics of him playing with them which always makes my day when I’m gone. Getting to see them each day makes me smile.
Brittany was so great taking care of my conure when I was gone, birds can be a bit finicky so it was really great to have someone caring and thoughtful like her here. He got comfortable with her quickly and looks like he had a great time. I would 100% recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter!
Katie is an amazing pet sitter, we were lucky to select her to look after our pets. At the last minute before our trip, our leopard gecko escaped her cage and got injured by a door. Katie took the gecko to her house and took very good care of her, including giving her five separate medications and even going to the pharmacy to pick one medication up. She did all this while looking after our other pets. She also made sure to send us lots of videos and kept us up to date. We can’t recommend her highly enough.
Flexible, Communicative, Reliable I've hired Kaitlyn to watch my cat (Kiki, 16lb domestic shorthair tuxedo) twice now over the last seven or so months, and she has been exceptional both times! On both occasions I had to ask for extensions on the sitting arrangement due to delays in traveling, and she was very forthright in being able to accommodate my requests and convey any limitations she had. She also gave great write-ups on how my cat appeared to be feeling and was behaving and took great care of her while doing so. Kaitlyn will be my go-to for cat sitting needs in the future and I highly recommend her services.
