“We are so happy with the care Figgy received. This was the first time we have left her after adopting her after her previous owners had returned her to a shelter after having her 8 months. Jennifer was so caring to both Figgy and us knowing our absence might be extra stressful on Figgy. Figgy was happy to see us at the end of the day but had obviously loved and trusted Jennifer and showed her affection for her. About: My whole life, I've had pets, and I can't imagine a life without them ❤️. I care for my friends and family members pets when they're away or have long work hours. I work from home full-time. My work schedule is open and allows me the ability to snuggle and play with your fur-baby throughout the day. I live just a few blocks away from a park and love to go on walks there. Any fur baby staying with me is allowed on the furniture and bed. Your baby will be on a leash at all times when outside for safety.

She took care of my pup Piper during the day for a few days while I was in town to watch a volleyball tournament, and I couldn't be happier with how it worked out. About: I care for dogs and cats every week, and I can typically make time for any caregiving needs with notice. I'm happy to go to a preferred park or take them through a trail, neighborhood, truly whatever you and your dog prefer! I love evening walks, and I am almost always available for drop-ins or boarding. I've been doing a lot of morning visits this month as well, so reach out and I can make something happen :) My main preference is walks but I'm happy to do in-home care. About: I adore all breeds and sizes. I've cared for a dog most every year of my life, whether I was a student, working, vacationing, or just existing. Those years have trained me to read them well as far as knowing what they are communicating at any given time. I find it difficult to be without a furry friend. However, I'm retired and thinking of traveling in the future, so thought this Rover program would give me my "dog fix" until I'm ready to start my traveling. I've had babies, adults, and teens when it comes to dogs, and many varieties; Border Collies, German Shepherds, Irish Setters, Poodles, Golden Retrievers, Old English Sheepdogs, Terriers, and have trained and loved them all! I'm retired but do go to a recreational center daily to work out and swim, so I'm available for dog sitting, playing, and walking M-F after 1PM. And weekends after noon. I have a fenced yard partly in sun and partly in shade. I also have a dog door from inside the house out to the yard, so your dog can go outside anytime the urge hits. I'm also within 1 mile of 3 parks and the Finch Arboretum.
About: I have had a dog ever since I can remember and I am 69 yrs old. I have TIME and am reliable, because I am retired. I made sure my kids grew up with a dog and now they have my grand dogs which I love to babysit. I lost my last dog (he was 14) in 2018 and I knew I was going to retire (and travel) in 2021 so now I have my grand dogs and all my friends dogs to babysit and get my fix. I also have volunteered for Rescue4All rescue since I retired. I have a medium sized doggie door out to a wonderful patio and yard fully fenced with 6 ft high vinyl fence. I love dogs so much. They are just the most loving, gentle, and FUN animals put on this earth. I am a walker, so all dogs that stay at my house get walked everyday, with a ton of love and affection. I am going to start Rover on Jan. 2026!!!! I am retired, so I would love to walk your dogs during the day for you. (I am a daily walker anyway :) so why not?) If they stay with me, my home is perfect with a fenced yard, medium sized doggie door (but I do love and will have larger dogs too) and they will get a lot of love and attention. While I prefer crate trained dogs, it does not mean they would be in their crate during the day unless you say it is needed if I leave the house. If not crate trained I would be okay if they are a very well trained dog :) My home is just me, so dogs will get that one on one attention. I am retired so I can accommodate any feeding/walking schedules that are needed.

Patricia is a dogs best friend and she honestly cares for them as if they are her very own. We hired her for 5 days and she was as more than amazing, and exceeded anything we could imagine. Seriously worth every dollar and honestly worth her weight in gold. So good at communicating and went above and beyond always seeing our dogs were taken real good care of. I mean it when I say we already miss her and wish she was a neighbor. I feel as if not only my 10yr old and 2yr old dogs have a friend, but that we have become friends too and I look forward to the next time we get to see her. Best sitter we could ever have found.
