About: I’m two years dogless and I truly miss the companionship and the joy that dogs bring to daily life. Joining Rover is my way of getting back into the "dog world"—offering your pets the same dedicated love, patience, and attention I gave my own for over a decade. What I Offer: • Senior Care Knowledge: Having cared for a dog through his final years, I am very comfortable with senior pups and slow walks. Don’t think I don’t love puppies too! • A "Dogs-First" Home: Since I don't currently have a pet, your dog will be the "only child" and get 100% of my attention. • Lifelong Intuition: I understand that every dog has a unique personality, from high-energy athletes to professional couch potatoes. I work from home full-time, which means your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. My home office is "dog-friendly," and I love having a furry coworker at my feet (or on the sofa!) throughout the day. What a day with me looks like: • Constant Supervision: Because I’m at my desk, I can offer frequent potty breaks and immediate attention whenever your pup needs it. • Structured Breaks: I use my lunch and mid-afternoon breaks for neighborhood walks, games of fetch, or just some quality backyard time. • Active "Face Time": I don't just sit in another room; I enjoy the companionship of dogs while I work. Whether your dog prefers to nap quietly nearby or needs occasional head scratches between my meetings, I’m here for it. • Flexible Needs: If your dog has a specific medication or feeding schedule that requires midday attention, my WFH setup makes that easy to accommodate. My home is a quiet, hazard-free sanctuary designed for stress-free stays. • Safety First: No other pets or children in the home—perfect for anxious or selective dogs. • Open Communication: Expect frequent "pupdates" and photos throughout the day. • Expert Handling: I am comfortable with senior care, medication, and following strict house rules.

About: I have had a dog ever since I can remember and I am 69 yrs old. I have TIME and am reliable, because I am retired. I made sure my kids grew up with a dog and now they have my grand dogs which I love to babysit. I lost my last dog (he was 14) in 2018 and I knew I was going to retire (and travel) in 2021 so now I have my grand dogs and all my friends dogs to babysit and get my fix. I also have volunteered for Path of Hope rescue since I retired. I have a medium sized doggie door out to a wonderful patio and yard fully fenced with 6 ft high vinyl fence. I love dogs so much. They are just the most loving, gentle, and FUN animals put on this earth. I am a walker, so all dogs that stay at my house get walked everyday, with a ton of love and affection. I am going to start Rover on Jan. 2026!!!! I am retired, so I would love to walk your dogs during the day for you. (I am a daily walker anyway :) so why not?) If they stay with me, my home is perfect with a fenced yard, medium sized doggie door (but I do love and will have larger dogs too) and they will get a lot of love and attention. While I prefer crate trained dogs, it does not mean they would be in their crate during the day unless you say it is needed if I leave the house. If not crate trained I would be okay if they are a very well trained dog :) My home is just me, so dogs will get that one on one attention. I am retired so I can accommodate any feeding/walking schedules that are needed.

She took care of my pup Piper during the day for a few days while I was in town to watch a volleyball tournament, and I couldn't be happier with how it worked out. I really appreciated the status update text messages that Sarah sent from time to time, and it was abundantly clear from the pics she shared that Piper was totally comfortable and really enjoying her time there. Also -- a big shout out to Sarah's pup, Sully, for sharing his home and his mom with Piper for a few days! He was a great host and he & Piper got along very well. About: I had my own dog growing up that I was responsible for. Since moving out from my parent's home, I've cared for other family and friends dogs. I'm a new momma and looking to get myself out of the house, taking my little ones on adventures. I love walking and love dogs, and want my kids to be comfortable around dogs Since beginning this endeavor, it has helped both my kids to love dogs as well. We began a new adventure of dog fostering and are in the process of adopting him, so if needing boarding, it is important for a meet and greet to make sure the dogs get along. I would need to use your supplies-dog toys, treats, leashes, etc. But your dog would get their exercise/play time done during the day with me.
