About: There has never not been a dog in my house. I've grown up around them and feel very comfortable with them! Within the last few years I have logged 70+ volunteer hours at SCRAPS training and exercising dogs. I achieved the highest level of training and thoroughly enjoy my time working with them. I have handled dogs with all kinds of behavioral issues from having a high prey drive to disliking people. Additionally I've worked with my own dog and she earned her CGC, participated in numerous rally classes, and began agility. When she became a senior dog I gave her a comfortable life until the end. I am passionate about making their lives better for as long as we have them. I also have experience taking care of rabbits, goats, and horses. I'm a full-time student on summer break so I have full availability currently. Evenings will have less availability as I will be doing some summer conditioning for my sport but can be flexible with the client's needs. In my own home we keep our dogs separate with baby gates and the use of leashes. Keeping them safe is a priority for us so we do all we can to help make them comfortable while maintaining safety. Depending on what the client is comfortable with I will use whatever measures they want to keep their family safe.

While Patricia was here, she was incredibly communicative and sent updates regularly, along with photos. She even brought our dog some toys and treats of her own! Our dog is historically an escape artist and she was super cognizant of this and took special care to make sure he was safe during the visit. Will definitely book again!”

“MacKenzie was fantastic! We had a family member cancel with short notice for watching out 2 dogs and 3 cats for a week while we were going on vacation. I quickly hopped on Rover to see who was near us, and decided to message MacKenzie based on other reviews that had been left. She was quickly able to come over and meet our gang to make sure it would be a fit. After that initial meeting, my husband and I both felt very comfortable and confident with her coming to stay and take care of things while we were gone. The day we were supposed to leave, we ran into some issues but MacKenzie was flexible and fast to communicate. She was very punctual and sent brief updates/questions throughout the week (she has our preference on communication and we had told her we didn't need regular check ins or updates). When we got home, we could tell our dogs and cats had missed us, but it was also clear that they had been well taken care of. Overall, if and when I may need another house & pet sitter, I wouldn't hesitate to reach back out to MacKenzie and I won't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for help.”

Monique was absolutely amazing! We have many animals and she gave them the best love and care. This was our first time using Rover and she eased us through the process and made us feel at ease. She was fabulous giving all the medications and treating our animals like her own. She texts and sends pictures regularly to give us updates throughout the day. She went above and beyond taking care of our home as well. We will be choosing her for every future vacation, especially since our dogs were sad when she left, they loved her so much! Meaghan was great with our little girl! We had a last minute trip, and Meaghan was just who we needed as a pet and house sitter. She was flexible and communicated every day. We received daily reports with pictures so we knew how Tahlia’s days and nights went. Meaghan took great care of our house, and spent nights so that Tahlia had a constant companion.
Kara was an wonderful house sitter. She stayed at our home for 6 nights caring for our two cats. We came home to a house just as clean as we left it, all of our plants were watered throughtout her stay, and she sent the perfect amount of daily kitty updates. Brittony was great! All our pets were happy and well cared for, acting just like their usual selves in all the updates, so they were clearly comfortable with her. She also took good care of our house, leaving it clean and just as we left it. We'd absolutely hire her again.
Molly was prompt in responding to our last minute need, easy to work with, and communicated well w/each visit to check on our critters while we were away. She was open to checking in on our conventional pet (a cat) but also our non-conventional pets (baby chicks). Grateful for her services.

Julie was an absolute gem! Our girl calmed right down and enjoyed her new friend. Julie sent us photos showing Rosie nice and relaxed at hom, as well as playing ball. She even washed the sheets and emptied the dishwasher! We will definitely ask Julie to stay again.

Jordyn is hands-down the best sitter. We've been able to have her watch our dogs and home on a couple of occasions now, and we wouldn't hesitate to rebook with her again and again. She communicates regularly and adds peace of mind when we're away. I can't say enough good things about Jordyn! We're so thankful for her.
Talyn is amazing! My puppy Ru absolutely loves her, and she is both comforting and communicative! Ru has a lot of energy (she’s just a baby), and Talyn takes her on really nice long walks, does enrichments and gives her love. She also is a great communicator and leaves my house looking better than I left it - which is not expected, but such a nice surprise to come home to. She always does the dishes, washes the sheets, etc. I’ve used Talyn 3x now, and this last time my puppy was having some breathing concerns while I was gone. Talyn calmly kept me in the loop on what was going on, but also made me feel confident that she had it handled. She provided updates, great communication and reassurance. Talyn is absolutely my go-to Rover and I’m (and you will be) lucky to have found her!
