“First time booking Audrey for house sitting (have booked previously for drop in visits) and I am very happy when I come home to two happy cats and a clean home. Thank you Audrey :)”

“Jennifer took such wonderful care of our home and our pets. She sent fun updates and photos each day, and we came home to happy pets. We’ll definitely ask Jennifer to watch our fur babies again!”

“Jackie is absolutely amazing! She is truly the best. Jackie watched our two small pups for 4 days while we were on vacation and she was so good to our dogs by following their schedule, their needs, extra loves, outside time and overall making sure they were happy while we were gone. She sent pictures and videos every few hours to inform us how they were doing. I will only be booking with Jackie in the future!! :)”

“Jocelyn was an incredible house sitter when she stayed and watched our cat, Freyja during our vacation! Our usual house sitter had to cancel on us around 2/3ish weeks before our trip and so we reached out to Jocelyn to see if she was available. She was so sweet and set up our meet and greet promptly! During the stay, Jocelyn was an excellent communicator and shared regular updates and photos with us, which made us feel so comfortable with her watching our girl, Freyja. Additionally, Jocelyn left the apartment nice and tidy, which was so great to come home to. Overall, we were so happy with Jocelyn watching our cat child!”

“We couldn't be more thrilled with the care Amanda provided for our beloved Schnoodle, Walter, during our recent trip. From the moment we met her, it was evident that she had a genuine love for animals, and that immediately put our minds at ease. Amanda went above and beyond to ensure that Walter felt comfortable and loved while we were away. Her communication was outstanding; she sent us regular updates, including adorable pictures and videos of Walter having the time of his life. It was evident that he was in good hands and having a blast with her. Upon our return, we were pleasantly surprised to find our house even cleaner than when we left it! Amanda truly went the extra mile and took care of not only Walter but also our home. It's safe to say that Walter has formed a special bond with Amanda, and he misses her dearly now that we're back. We couldn't recommend her highly enough to anyone in need of a caring and responsible pet sitter. Thank you, Amanda, for providing such exceptional care for Walter—we'll definitely be reaching out to you again for future pet-sitting needs!”

“Suzy was an exceptional kitten sitter. During her week-long stay at our home, she maintained everything and left our home just as she found it. I loved receiving the daily updates and photos of Lila while we were away. Upon returning, we found a happy and healthy kitten, thanks to Suzy's attentive care. Without a doubt, she will be our go-to sitter in the future! 😺”

“It can be hard to find a sitter that enjoys big dogs. Our big, goofy dogs love Clara! We appreciate that she let us know how they were doing and help them stay happy and on their routine (as it helps the smaller of our two dogs keep her anxiety down while we’re away). We will definitely call on her again.”

“Carla was exceptional! I would absolutely ask her again for future care as she was so incredible with my senior dog Sheerah who is very attached to me and needs a lot of love, attention and medical care. Carla went above and beyond in her communication and attention to detail. If you are thinking of using or requesting her services, please do as she was top notch! Thank you again Carla so much for everything! Couldn’t have asked for someone as kind and thoughtful as you!”
“Rachel was amazing! She had great communication the entire time and we loved the updates she sent us. Sadie (my dog) was well taken care of and we would definitely have Rachel dogsit again.”

“Went above and beyond! Monique and her husband John left the place cleaner than when they got here. They also cleaned all of the sheets and left nicely folded on the bed. They provided regular updates/pics, followed directions, and took our pup on plenty of walks! No complaints here”

About: We have experience with all types of animals! Right now we currently own 2 rabbits, a cat, and 2 dogs, one of the dogs is a senior, and requires daily medication. We also have experience with large animals, Shelby (my partner) owns horses. Overall we have cared for various types of pets throughout the years, and love all types of animals! I am working part time, and she goes to Washington State University all in Spokane, so we will have plenty of time to cater to all of your pet needs! We can walk your pets in low traffic areas, or are more than happy to walk them on trails away from any potential hazards if you would prefer that! We carefully monitor interactions between our own different types of animals to avoid any altercations, which we will also do with your pets! Safety is our #1 priority with ALL pets!
About: I’ve been house sitting and dog sitting for over 5 years, caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels. I have a 21-year-old dog of my own, so I’m very experienced with senior care and understand the extra attention and patience they need. I truly love being around dogs and enjoy staying active, so walks and playtime are always a priority. I am a student at University of San Francisco, but will be back in Spokane for the summer. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to chat or check availability, I’d love to meet you and your furry friend! I'm happy to follow your pet’s usual routine to help them feel as comfortable as possible while you're away. Whether that means sticking to a feeding schedule, giving medication, going on regular walks, or just spending extra time keeping them company, I can accommodate based on your pet’s specific needs.
“Bethany was fantastic - promptly set up a meet and greet, was very communicative, and sent lots of fun photo updates. This was our pup's first time away from us and I wasn't sure how she would handle it, but she had a great time with Bethany.”

About: I was born and raised on a farm so I have raised many different kinds of livestock and house pets. Animal care is one of my favorite things about living on the farm and I will treat your furry family members as one of my own. I am currently working a 4 days a week, 10 hours a day. I am able to get away during the work day for about an hour, so in that time I can come and let your pet out to potty or give them more food. On the days I am not working, I am completely free to be with your pet for as long as you need me. I will vary my care based on the situation you have at your home and on your pets temperment (ex. going to the park, walking on the sidewalk, or sticking to the yard).
“Megan did a fantastic job of caring for our two Chihuahua mix dogs and our cat. Our house was in order and our pets happy when we returned home. . We will not hesitate to use Megan’s services again when we go out of town.”

“Melissa is an incredible pet sitter! I was so anxious about leaving my dog for the day, as she had recently had some injuries and I needed someone who would be willing to give her medication and approach her with a lot of gentleness and care. Melissa eased my mind while I was gone, and I will absolutely be asking her back when I need someone to come hang out with Dolly!”

“You can’t do any better. End statement, she’s the best. I had an emergency trip I could cancel or reschedule. Lauren stepped in super last minute, sent tons of pictures of super happy puppies/kitties. She even saved my kitties that I spaced and I accidentally shut the door to the bedroom locking them inside 🙄. Hero, right here, hire her!”

About: As of February 2025 I will have been working for rover as a sitter for two years. In my own home I have 5 pets, and I have been a sitter (when needed) for other friends or family members since 2019. I am currently a college student at Gonzaga University in Spokane. I do have multiple lectures a day, but typically have lots of time between classes. I am always willing to be flexible and will let you know of any schedule conflicts before each booking! Feel free to reach out and we can find a time that works! In my time as a rover sitter, I have learned a lot. To prioritize the health and safety of your fur babies, I would love to know about any medications that need to be administered, how they walk on a leash, and whether or not they are aggressive with other pets. I also require a meet and greet before each booking so that both the client and pet feel comfortable with me in their home!

“Alex was so good with our two goldens and kitty while we were out of town! She even got up every day to walk them in the early morning since it was a 100 degree weekend. Very good communication and kept us updated throughout the weekend. Above & beyond!”

West Central pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jacque was prompt, professional and most of all personable. Our dogs took to her right off the bat! We asked her to check in and she sent great pictures which we appreciated as it showed us how comfortable they were with her. We strongly recommend her and will definitely use her again when we are in town. Thank you, Jackquelyn!!!

Audrey is a fantastic dog sitter! Communication was excellent throughout, with regular updates and quick responses. She was incredibly friendly, caring, and clearly great with Penny. I also really appreciated coming home to a tidy, well-kept house. Highly recommend and would happily book again!

This was the first time we used Rover for housesitting and Tessa was so wonderful with our two pups while we were away for the week. Our puppy can be a bit of a handful and Tessa was proactive, communicative and went the extra mile to try different things to help deter his bad behaviors while we were gone. She left our house clean and even refilled our stash of frozen Toppls so that we were good to go with puppy enrichment treats when we got home. Leaving our fur babies is always stressful but Tessa definitely made it a lot easier!

I was impressed with Lisa's maturity and intelligence. I felt very good leaving my precious dog in her care. I believe she could handle any situation that might have arrived. Daisy was a happy and well cared for dog. I would use her service again. It is so nice to not worry about your dogs when you are gone. She was willing to be on a fairly remote property which has intimidated some people. The communication was excellent. My thanks to her for making my vacation worry free.

Talyn is amazing! My puppy Ru absolutely loves her, and she is both comforting and communicative! Ru has a lot of energy (she’s just a baby), and Talyn takes her on really nice long walks, does enrichments and gives her love. She also is a great communicator and leaves my house looking better than I left it - which is not expected, but such a nice surprise to come home to. She always does the dishes, washes the sheets, etc. I’ve used Talyn 3x now, and this last time my puppy was having some breathing concerns while I was gone. Talyn calmly kept me in the loop on what was going on, but also made me feel confident that she had it handled. She provided updates, great communication and reassurance. Talyn is absolutely my go-to Rover and I’m (and you will be) lucky to have found her!

We had an amazing experience with Paige! She took such great care of our dog and truly went above and beyond with keeping us updated, picking up thoughtful extras like treats and supplies, and even putting together the sweetest little display for us to come home to. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our pup was in such caring, attentive hands. We’re so grateful we found her and can’t recommend her enough. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a pet sitter!
