“Audrey did a wonderful job watching our giant Alaskan malamute and cat. She walked him everyday, and kept us updated daily with photos. I didn’t have to worry about a thing and we would book her again.”

“Great experience! Jennifer took such good care of my dogs and sent daily updates. She even did a couple of favors for me while I was away. The dogs clearly enjoyed their time with Jennifer. We will book with her again for sure!”

“Absolutely amazing! Showed up for an emergency sitting and then went above and beyond. Very communicative, sends lots of pictures and videos, followed all instructions. Would book again 100%”

About: I have had dogs since I was born and love to go on adventures and walks with them. I have taken care of many dogs and cats here in Spokane. I also have experience with farm animals. The prices listed can be negotiated, I usually like to switch to Venmo. I just graduated from Gonzaga and this summer I’m applying for teaching jobs. In my extra time besides applying I want to be with animals. In my clients home I will make sure the pup feels they are in caring hands with lots of love and care. I will make sure to be tidy and clean as I respect my clients space. If there are feeding and medication schedules I need to follow I will make sure that happens on time and correctly.
“Bethany was great about sending pictures. She has always been on time . She is friendly and we are very happy. Would have tipped more but there is a 30% limit.”

“Curtis did an excellent job caring for Bo. He followed all of our instructions with giving him his medications and taking Bo for his walks. We would consider using Curtis for our sitter again.”

“Rachel was amazing. We contacted her day of so it was pretty short notice and she made herself available and was on time. She was kind and patient and caring. Otis adored her. She has a lot of experience and knowledge. I felt totally comfortable with her in our home and would absolutely ask her to dog sit for us again. Ty Rachel!”

“Melissa went above and beyond to cater to my shy cat, playing with him and staying at the home with him. She sent regular updates and photos, which put me at ease on my trip! She left the house clean and followed my list of instructions. Most importantly, my cat was safe and sound when I returned home! I couldn't be happier with her cat-sitting! Thank you so much!!”

“Julie was absolutely amazing! We moved not long ago and are still getting settled and we came home to a clean, organized house that is much better than how we left it. Julie took great care of our two dogs and sent us lots of pictures. She said she likes to keep busy and used free time to weed or clean. A dream house/dog sitter!”

“Carla was great! She was patient with our dog who can be leery of strangers and we came home to a perfectly clean home after a long travel day! Will definitely book with her again.”

About: We have experience with all types of animals! Right now we currently own 2 rabbits, a cat, and 2 dogs, one of the dogs is a senior, and requires daily medication. We also have experience with large animals, Shelby (my partner) owns horses. Overall we have cared for various types of pets throughout the years, and love all types of animals! I am working part time, and she goes to Washington State University all in Spokane, so we will have plenty of time to cater to all of your pet needs! We can walk your pets in low traffic areas, or are more than happy to walk them on trails away from any potential hazards if you would prefer that! We carefully monitor interactions between our own different types of animals to avoid any altercations, which we will also do with your pets! Safety is our #1 priority with ALL pets!
“We have a 1.5 y/o puppy and a 14.5 y/o dog who have very different needs. Amanda seemed to navigate that with ease and was very good about asking questions in both the intro meeting and during the first stay.”

“Rachel was really communicative and very available for my dogs. They require some special medicine and care and she did a great job prioritizing it. The house was left clean and the dogs were very happy. We look forward to using her again.”

“We are so incredibly blessed to have found Nazeerah. We have had her twice now, and I wouldn’t ask for anyone else. She sets the standard very high! 😊. One of things I appreciate most is that she KNOWS my dogs. She gets their quirks and little behavior issues, loves them anyway, and knows how to handle them in ways that work for them specifically. Watching a pack of dive-six dogs is not for the faint of heart! But my dogs love her and do t just “survive” - they thrive!”

“We loved having Monique come and sit / house sit our two dogs. She was very concerned on learning the needs and habits of our dogs. Every day we were gone we would get photos and comments of what our dogs were up to. Our dogs were very sad after she left when we came home. Her kindness and attention really hit a cord with our dogs. Thank you for doing such a great job and allowing us to get out of town for some “alone” time! —- Dennis C.”

“What an angel!! We could not have been happier with Jocleyn. She was communicative, punctual, kind, and caring! All of the good things!! We had two cats and two dogs one of whom we had just recently adopted so our animals were all still getting used to each other when we had to go out of town. She handled everything perfectly and we would trust her any time with our home and pets. Thanks Jocelyn!”

“Jackie was great! It was the first time she had watched our dog and unfortunately we had to put our older dog down less than 2 weeks before we left for our trip. Our younger dog was out of sorts as a result. Jackie did a great job interacting with our pup and kept us well informed while we were gone, and sent frequent pictures and videos. She also kept our house very clean and was thoughtful in changing our sheets for us before we arrived home very late from our trip. We would definitely recommend Jackie as a dog/house sitter and hope to use her again in the future.”
Thorpewestwood pet parents share their Rover experiences
Shalene took wonderful care of my little dog. He was happy and healthy when I returned. My house was perfect. Kitchen and baths looked like they had just been cleaned. All was perfect. She is the best I have ever had. I will use her for sure in the future. Kudos Shalene!!
I was impressed with Lisa's maturity and intelligence. I felt very good leaving my precious dog in her care. I believe she could handle any situation that might have arrived. Daisy was a happy and well cared for dog. I would use her service again. It is so nice to not worry about your dogs when you are gone. She was willing to be on a fairly remote property which has intimidated some people. The communication was excellent. My thanks to her for making my vacation worry free.
I am so thankful to have had Caitlyn take care of my boys so I could enjoy my time away. She sent me pictures and updates that I appreciated. My boys ate quite a bit of food while I was gone and they usually don’t when I’m away. Thank you Caitlyn for taking such good care of my boys and giving me such peace of mind.

Audrey did a wonderful job with our two rambunctious German Shepherds. She is a good listener, attentive, and punctual. We got lots of great feedback while we were away, and when she needed additional information, was quick to contact us. She was housesitting/petsitting for us - when we returned, house was immaculate. She approaches this work as a real professional. Happy we found her, and fortunate to have her back in a few short days!

Talyn is amazing! My puppy Ru absolutely loves her, and she is both comforting and communicative! Ru has a lot of energy (she’s just a baby), and Talyn takes her on really nice long walks, does enrichments and gives her love. She also is a great communicator and leaves my house looking better than I left it - which is not expected, but such a nice surprise to come home to. She always does the dishes, washes the sheets, etc. I’ve used Talyn 3x now, and this last time my puppy was having some breathing concerns while I was gone. Talyn calmly kept me in the loop on what was going on, but also made me feel confident that she had it handled. She provided updates, great communication and reassurance. Talyn is absolutely my go-to Rover and I’m (and you will be) lucky to have found her!

Jennifer is a true gem. She was flexible when I messed up the start date, incredibly accommodating with an ongoing renovation (no functional kitchen, the house being painted…) and wonderful with our animals. We appreciated her help immensely and would absolutely use again.
Sadie did a great job following my very detailed instructions for Lucy and Holly. She communicated promptly and effectively before and during her stay. She gave updates and sent pictures to ensure we were at ease during our time away. She did not leave any evidence that she was even here. I will definitely reach out to her anytime we go out of town without our pups. Thank you Sadie!

Emma is great!! This was my first Rover experience and I was a little nervous going into it, but I completely trusted Emma with my pets. She provided my dog and cat with a lot of quality care, attention, and cuddles. She also was very accommodating with my schedule and communicated very well.

Rachel and Easton left our home better than we even left it and the dogs were so relaxed when we got home. They were communicative and sent great photo updates throughout our weekend away to ensure the dogs were comfortable. They are great guests who respected our home and took great care of our dogs, we can't recommend them highly enough!

My dogs were so comfortable with Chad. I’m always nervous leaving my babies with someone they don’t know, but they warmed right up to Chad. I was sent lots of pictures and Chad even took the sheets off the bed and washed them! I so appreciate you Chad! Thank you!
