“We used Damien for just a short 2 night trial trip and was great. One of our dogs gets very excitable when first meeting someone new, jumping up and not listening. She finally settles down, but takes some firm action at first to get her to listen. Damien was very patient but firm and after the first 20 minutes were buddies the rest of the stay, going back to her chill self. He was prompt, followed all instructions and gave lots of quality time with our dogs. We feel we can plan a longer trip now and feel confident dogs will be in good hands. About: I've owned cats most of my life and taken care of family members’, friends’, and neighbors’ dogs and cats for years. My first kitty living on my own had severe health issues and anxiety, requiring extensive treatment and TLC. I know how difficult it can be being away from our furry family members knowing they need us and want to help ease some of that worry. I have experience administering medications, caring for anxious animals, and feeding special diets. I'm also happy to send plenty of pictures and updates. :) I work part time as a caregiver; it’s flexible, and the rest of my days are free for drop-in visits! I am also available to stay the night for house sitting. Every pet has their own personality and unique needs, and I think owners know their pets best. I am happy to follow whatever instructions you may have.

About: I won't just treat them as a "pet" I treat all animals as family. I have taken care of various dog and cats from family members and friends since I was a child. This included staying over, walking, feeding, training and playing. At the moment I am pursuing schooling for dog training so I have open availability for walks and drop ins! I usually ask for a days notice but it never hurts to ask. I have had experience with larger dogs (German shepherds, Great Pyerenese, Pitbulls and Saint Bernards) as well as small dogs (Chihuahua's, Shih Tzu and Dachshunds). I also provide baths and nail trimming when asked. I enjoy running too so if your looking to get your dog in shape! For pets coming to my house they must be crate trained (for when I sleep) and friendly with other dogs.

About: I've owned dogs and cats for most of my life. I also worked for Alaska Air Cargo for several years where I handled and cared for dogs, cats, and other animals on a daily basis. I pay attention to body language and cues to tell me how to interact best with your pet. I've worked with several different trainers and I now only employ force-free methods. Haven't met a pet who doesn't like me yet! My rates are for homes within 5 miles. I charge an additional $1 per mile if you are further than that. I have an 7-4 Monday-Friday job. I'm available before and after work. I can stop by later in the evening if your pet needs a bed time story, too! Weekends I'm generally available anytime. I'll stick to your instructions for pet care in your home. Any special toys or enrichment needs, I got it covered! I've walked dogs of all sizes so I'm pretty comfortable taking yours out when needed.

About: I can’t remember a time i haven’t had animals in the home from dogs and cats to fish and birds i’ve handled them all. Growing up it was my responsibility to handle dog chores from daily feedings and watering to potty pick up. I had to help raise a litter of puppies including things like feedings, training, playtime, vaccine administration. I consider myself a pro at hiding medicine and assuring the pups actually take it hahah. Animals mean the world to me, my goal is making sure THEY know that. I am very flexible with scheduling, please feel free to ask about scheduling for ANY day. I do have a part time job however my days off (monday-wednesday) i am available nearly all day including overnights. The days i do work i will be available for walks, check ins and possibly overnight stays depending on location. I am very flexible and willing to accommodate to most things. As i do not offer service in my home i am very open with needs and requests. Whether you prefer your dog crated or free roam i can accommodate either. Open to whatever methods make you and your pets comfortable. Available to play in fenced yards, dog parks and go for walks.
