About: Having always grown up with dogs, cats, guinea pigs and more, I've been pet-sitting for family friends and neighbors since middle school. I have experience with dogs of all ages, giving medication and special care when needed, and volunteer time at Birmingham Humane Society. I'm a true animal lover who hopes to make your loved one as happy and comfortable as possible! I'm currently a full-time graduate student at WSU and am flexible when working around a set class schedule. I often have open days and larger gaps between classes. Although I cannot host animals, I am comfortable meeting a pet in their home enviornment, respecting any personal rules or pet safety preferences to ensure they are happy and comfortable.

About: I've owned and cared for dogs and other animals my whole life. More recently in the past five years or so, I've dog sat for 10+ friends for extended stays without a hitch, ranging from three very yappy adult chihuahuas to inexperienced puppies of all sizes. I've also been responsible for looking after a whole farm's worth of animals, including chickens, alpaca, goats, donkeys, and more. I think my greatest assets as a sitter are my empathy for the animals while staying calmly in control. I work full-time from home, so my schedule is plenty flexible to give lots of love and several walks or dog park trips a day. Some week nights are available as well as weekends, dependent on other scheduling conflicts. I have a fenced yard with two pups and two cats (who mostly keep to themselves) to keep them company. I also have close access to the centennial trail for walks as well as a few local dog parks. I have crates available for your dog if needed as well.

About: I come from a household full of all kinds of animals, and am experienced in handling all their personalities and quirks. Cats who won't come out from under the bed, the dog that wants to play ball in the middle of the night, the chickens that think 330 am is an appropriate time to call, and all the middle-of-the-night things that livestock get up to, I have been there, done that, and am capable of dealing with whatever comes my way! I have a full-time 8am-5pm day job, and guarantee that I will be present at your house to take care of your little ones from 6pm-7am, and if the distance and commute allows it, will drop by during my lunch hour to let anyone out for a potty break if needed. I care for pets in their own home - I strongly believe that this alleviates a lot of the stress of having someone watch them as they are in their own surroundings, and I do my best to accommodate their routines as much as I am able. Late nights, early mornings, feeding routines, etc, are as close as I can get them to their normal schedules. I will treat your beloveds as my own!

About: I adore all breeds and sizes. I've cared for a dog most every year of my life, whether I was a student, working, vacationing, or just existing. Those years have trained me to read them well as far as knowing what they are communicating at any given time. I find it difficult to be without a furry friend. However, I'm retired and thinking of traveling in the future, so thought this Rover program would give me my "dog fix" until I'm ready to start my traveling. I've had babies, adults, and teens when it comes to dogs, and many varieties; Border Collies, German Shepherds, Irish Setters, Poodles, Golden Retrievers, Old English Sheepdogs, Terriers, and have trained and loved them all! I'm retired but do go to a recreational center daily to work out and swim, so I'm available for dog sitting, playing, and walking M-F after 1PM. And weekends after noon. I have a fenced yard partly in sun and partly in shade. I also have a dog door from inside the house out to the yard, so your dog can go outside anytime the urge hits. I'm also within 1 mile of 3 parks and the Finch Arboretum.

About: I’m patient, caring, dependable, reliable and take my dog out on walks every day. I work from home so I will be with your beloved pet at all times. I work from home and have one dog who I walk daily. Most of my time is spent with my dog and if your dog stays with us, they will be with us all day. I do live in an apartment, however, I am active and attentive so I can provide a lot of activity outdoors or spend time with your dog indoors if that’s what they prefer.

About: I've been taking care of all kinds of animals my whole life. In addition to being able to take care of cats and dogs, I can also take care of animals like guinea pigs and hamsters. I currently work as a server which is only 4 hour shifts so I spend a majority of my time at home with all of my fur babies. So I have a pretty open schedule. I can feed, water, walk, play with, clean up after (inside and outside), potty, administer medication, crate, etc. I am willing to help in anyway possible all you have to do is ask!

About: I have owned and taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. During the pandemic, I potty and crate trained my mom's Beagle puppy Milu, socialized her with other dogs, taught her lots of tricks, and became best friends! Now that I live on my own, I would love to take care of your pet. Although I have no formal experience as a dog walker or sitter, I have successfully boarded many of my friends and family’s pets - I am the designated pet sitter! I currently work a remote, part-time job from 9am-12pm every day. During that time, I am not available to walk any doggos, but I can step away for a quick potty break if I’m boarding them. Otherwise, I am available in the mornings before 8:30 and afternoons after 12:30 for walks, play dates, or drop in potty breaks! While I do not have a yard, I live in a very friendly neighborhood perfect for walks. If your pet is friendly, my partner owns a lovely 7 yr-old golden that would love to play or come on a walk with us! (The golden does not live with me)

About: I have owned many pets throughout my childhood. To say what kind of experience I have would take more than 125 words because each pet has their own personality and style and I adapt to exactly what your pets need and want. If they want cuddles, they get cuddles. If they want space, they get space. I’m home almost all day so they will get all the attention they ever want(or the space they need). I aim to make them happy! Non smoke home with a big spacious living room to play or rest in. I’ve been dog walking/pet sitting since I was a teen and miss doing that. I love hiking and anything outdoorsy so I’m always up for being outside as well. If you have any questions please reach out! I’m a stay at home mom so I’ll be able to easily take your pup out on walks and quick potty breaks. We don’t have a fenced yard but have a shared yard out in the back as well as a park nearby. I walk them right before I would leave to run any errands and usually don’t take long. I follow the instructions provided so that its not stressful for the pup as well as the pet owner. I send updates on how the pup is doing and what we’re up to. We go out on walks a lot. If it’s okay with the owner than I take the pup out on a shorter hike with my daughter. I make sure to grab water too! At home we see what kind of personality the pup has because some aren’t as active and would rather cuddle while others like to play play play.
