Abby K.
“Abby absolutely loves dogs. She is great at caring for them and tending to their needs. She is also a great dog walker as she loves the outdoors herself she always brings the dogs along.”

Paige F.
“Hi! Paige watched our cat while we were out of town for a week. She came over to play, feed and spend some time with our boy. She also took the time to clean out his litter box, even though we didn’t ask her to. She sent pictures of Buzz while we were gone to make sure we could still see him. Paige did an amazing job and would highly recommend her!”

Ruby A.
“In October, I went to Seattle for two days. I have two dogs, one is a small shit-zu mix and the other a Husky/malamute mix. Both are sweet but they have their own habits. She met them for the first time and after explaining their routine to her and the medicine the smaller dog had to take, she showed her understanding by explaining it back to me. Once I left she stayed with the dogs at my house and gave me updates when she could. The picture updates made me feel better in leaving my pups and I could tell how much she cared for them by seeing how happy they are when they see her.”

Matthew N.
“I highly recommend Matt! I think our dog loves him more than us! He really seems to understand dogs and earns their trust and love immediately. He is so responsible and trustworthy and when he has stayed at our house, he leaves everything perfectly clean and picked up. Matt is also a great communicator which we appreciate. You will not be sorry if you hire him!”

Sydney S.
“I can't say enough good things about how fantastic Sydney S. is when it comes to dog sitting. She has been a tremendous help and resource over the years to my family of pets. I have 7 dogs, ranging in size from a Yorkshire Terrier to an Estrela Mountain dog, and they absolutely love spending the week with Sydney when I am out of town. One of my passions is to travel the world and I often take 3-4 multiweek trips per year, and Sydney is always my first go to when I need a dog sitter. She knows the specific needs of all my dogs and will always go out of her way to ensure they feel loved. Her dedication and passion to make each of my dogs feel special is something I admire. I know it is no easy task to take care of my furry family, but she always goes above and beyond my expectations. While I love to travel and experience all the new destinations the world has to offer, it is also extremely hard to leave my home and pets for several weeks on end. There are very few people who I would trust with this responsibility, but I have absolutely no concerns when this is left in the capable hands of Sydney. She is one of the cleanest people I know as my house is always in better condition when I return home than how it was before I left for my trip (that's saying a lot since I am a very clean and tidy person myself). I highly recommend everyone to consider Sydney as their preferred dog sitter, and there is no one better suited for the task.”

About: I was always the little girl in the neighborhood taking care of my neighbors pets when they went on vacation, until I was old enough to get pets of my own. I love all animals like they are my own. I have experience with rescues, behavioral issues, training regimes. I recently have a lot more time of my hands so I’d love to help out and work with more animals. I recently got a lot more time on my hands after leaving a high stress job, so I’m looking to fit this into my daily routine and find the joy with the animals in our community. I typically only care for animals in the home that they are used to as it helps with stress and allows for better animal relationships to build in a territory that they are familiar with. :)

Natalee F.

“Natalee is great!”

Shenandoah M.
“Before we used Shenandoah's services, we would worry about boarding our pets, where our pets would return from scared and sick; but now it's such a pleasure to have peace of mind while vacationing or visiting family knowing that our 2 labs and cat are safe and comfy at home in their beds. It is such a relief knowing our fur babies are well taken care of! It is also nice to know that Shenandoah has worked several years in the veterinary field as an LVT! 100% recommend Shenandoah for your fur-babies personal care taker.”

Jerry A.
“I think what makes Jerry great as a pet caregiver is his curiosity. He was quite interested in what I do to take care of my dog, what he likes, what is his routine , etc. I want to know that my pet sitter doesn't have a one size fits all approach, and that he's willing to change what he does if needed. Also, he demonstrated a real love and compassion for my pupper, and whenever he sees him, he is genuinely excited to be with him.”

About: Dogs have been in my life since I was a baby. Life without them would be awfully boring. We love to spoil all dogs with extra love, attention, and dog-safe treats. To us, there's nothing better than sharing the blanket with the dog, whether on the couch or on the bed. I work from home full time, and my husband is an artist who works from home. This gives us time to share our home with your loved pet and provide whatever schedule they need for outside access, playtime, and nap time. We have a large 4000 sq ft fully fenced yard, with a minimum height of 5 feet at the driveway gate. The yard is full of freshly mowed grass, regular poop patrol, sunny and shady spots, and squirrels and birds that are always visiting. The home has hardwood floors and washable rugs. We have an older small breed dog, Mr. Frank who is so excited to have friends to play and nap with. He will even share his sticks and squeaky toys! There are also as many dog beds in the house as there are rooms! Comfort is key here. In the summer we have AC, and in the winter we have central heat and a cozy fire to get warmed by. We also use filtered water for our pup- The same that we drink. Come let your pup be spoiled! We take pack dynamics seriously and do have multi-dog stays if we feel that everyone will be safe and happy. Safety is everyone's priority here. We take flea and tick treatment seriously. Mr. Frank is on Bravecto for flea and tick prevention. Our home is pest free, and we would prefer that your pup enjoys the same flea and tick-free environment by being on some preventative in addition to vaccinations. You tell us what your dog needs, and they will get all the special care and attention your precious pup needs. From filtered fresh water to fun games of tug-of-war, your dog will have a barking good time. Jennifer and David both work from home. David is an artist, and Jennifer works as a trainer for a large company here in Spokane. We are both home full-time and have lots of love to shower your dog with. When they are here, they are treated like family. David is the primary play and potty break monitor during Jennifer's working hours, and Jennifer takes over after her work day. Lunchtime is the best because it means playtime! The dogs have unlimited access to the fenced yard, air-conditioning in the summer, and a toasty wood-burning fire in the winter. There is always fresh, clean water, plenty of snuggles on the couch, a variety of comfy dog beds to choose from, and treats when allowed. We also have a variety of toys to help keep the mind stimulated.

Haley T.

“Haley was patient and vet communicative!”

Vahla H.
“Vahla has always loved dogs! She started helping care for the family dog when she was just 7. The family adopted a senior Mexican Hairless who needed a home 5 years later, and she learned all about how to care for a dog with special needs. She loves walking dogs and they love walking with her! She's shown a strong sense of responsibility and care for animals (she also has two female hedgehogs!) I'm sure your dogs will love spending time with Vahla as much as she loves spending time with them!”

Johnah M.
“Johnah is a responsible and professional. She is very knowledgeable about all dog breeds. I would highly recommend her to watch your furry friends anytime.”

Nevaeh G.
“Nevaeh love animals so much. She is very caring and trustworthy. She treats my animals like part of the family and there is no one else I would rather have care for my pets.”

Anna N.

“Anna has been really great so far! Super sweet, reliable, and attentive.”

Dr Erma G.
“I had my dog boarded here. My dog just had an operation, the caretaker was very patient and caring. Erma gave her medication on time and supplied the special diet my dog needed, she was very loving, and we were able to see our dog on video the entire time. I would use this person again if I needed to board my dog.”

Sarah R.

“Sarah was so great with our little guy. We were in from out of town and she made time to do a meet and greet and everything. Great communication too ?”

About: I have been house and pet sitting for multiple breeds of dogs and animals for mostly veterinarians and surgeons for over 15 years. I have the sweetest, giant 9 y/o black lab, whom I have had since 8 weeks and my kitten was weaned from being found in a ditch. Used to older dogs that require medicine. Not able to house dogs at my own home at the current time; however, I’m used to watching animals for weeks at a time. Understand dog training tactics for young dogs enrolled in classes, but I am unable to provide these by myself. Have experience with watching chickens, birds, and other large farm animals. I work 8-5 M-Th with flexible lunch most days. Happy to stay overnight as long as others are not coming into your home for safety reasons. I can replicate whatever your normal care is for your animal as long as it fits in my schedule. There are not any limitations I can think of.

Izaiah B.
“Izaiah will give his all to your dog, he is very compassionate, caring , fun loving with dogs and they became his family. That being said, I HIGHLY recommend Izaiah. He will treat your dogs as if they were his own. He is reliable, trustworthy and goes above and beyond.”
