We went through wags for a sitter and it was a very bad experience so we got onto Rover and we were already out of town when people kept canceling on us in the middle of the city so we got on Rover. About: I adore all breeds and sizes. I've cared for a dog most every year of my life, whether I was a student, working, vacationing, or just existing. Those years have trained me to read them well as far as knowing what they are communicating at any given time. I find it difficult to be without a furry friend. However, I'm retired and thinking of traveling in the future, so thought this Rover program would give me my "dog fix" until I'm ready to start my traveling. I've had babies, adults, and teens when it comes to dogs, and many varieties; Border Collies, German Shepherds, Irish Setters, Poodles, Golden Retrievers, Old English Sheepdogs, Terriers, and have trained and loved them all! About: I have owned many pets throughout my childhood. To say what kind of experience I have would take more than 125 words because each pet has their own personality and style and I adapt to exactly what your pets need and want. If they want cuddles, they get cuddles. If they want space, they get space. I’m home almost all day so they will get all the attention they ever want(or the space they need). I aim to make them happy! Non smoke home with a big spacious living room to play or rest in. I’ve been dog walking/pet sitting since I was a teen and miss doing that. I love hiking and anything outdoorsy so I’m always up for being outside as well. If you have any questions please reach out! I’m a stay at home mom so I’ll be able to easily take your pup out on walks and quick potty breaks. We don’t have a fenced yard but have a shared yard out in the back as well as a park nearby. I walk them right before I would leave to run any errands and usually don’t take long. I follow the instructions provided so that its not stressful for the pup as well as the pet owner. I send updates on how the pup is doing and what we’re up to. We go out on walks a lot. If it’s okay with the owner than I take the pup out on a shorter hike with my daughter. I make sure to grab water too! At home we see what kind of personality the pup has because some aren’t as active and would rather cuddle while others like to play play play.

About: Every since I was a kid I have been around animals. My grandma had 3 dogs and that’s where my love for dogs started. My roommate has relied on me multiple times to take care of her cat. I also have a lot of experience watching dogs for friends and family. My goal is to make the dog feel happy and get some extra love. Currently working full time right now at a Care Center as an activities assistant. So three days a week I work 9-4:30 then the other two it’s 12-8. “Samantha was absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. I had an emergency and she was able to take my 3 Basset Hounds within a couple of hours. They stayed with her for a week. My dogs were welcomed with open arms and treated exactly how they are at home- even getting to sleep in bed with her and snuggle time on the couch. She always responded to my messages within minutes, and sent me several updates, pictures, and videos of my babies every day. She also made sure to ask questions about habits, personalities, medications, feeding, etc. I was so scared to drop them off, but Samantha quickly eased my anxiety, making sure I knew they were okay and adjusting well. I cant recommend her enough. Ellie is hard to win over and within a couple of days I find out that she is following Samantha all over the house. A very impressive feat. She will be my first contact should I need to board my babies again. Thank you, Samantha for making a stressful situation the easiest it could have been, and for taking such good care of my girls.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life and love dogs! I am a hands on care giver and make sure the pets are happy and healthy. I’m currently a stay at home mom of a 12-year-old boy and a 5-year-old Schnoodle, Coco. My daughter is pre-med at WSU and is often home to help as well. Coco is current with all vaccines, spayed, and loves furry friends visiting! I have a fenced yard that is wide open for lots of fun playing. I also take daily walks with the dogs so they get to smell the news!
