Pet care experience

Responsible human, dog-approved!

I’m two years dogless and I truly miss the companionship and the joy that dogs bring to daily life. Joining Rover is my way of getting back into the "dog world"—offering your pets the same dedicated love, patience, and attention I gave my own for over a decade. What I Offer: • Senior Care Knowledge: Having cared for a dog through his final years, I am very comfortable with senior pups and slow walks. Don’t think I don’t love puppies too! • A "Dogs-First" Home: Since I don't currently have a pet, your dog will be the "only child" and get 100% of my attention. • Lifelong Intuition: I understand that every dog has a unique personality, from high-energy athletes to professional couch potatoes.

Olivia has a natural way with dogs. My dog Lexapro is a very nervous dog and doesn’t warm up to strangers quickly. Olivia knew exactly what to do, she ignored her until she came around. Lexapro usually barks at every new person but she didn’t make a peep!! She warmed up in minutes which never happens. All that to say, Olivia has an energy my pup knew was friendly and safe. 10/10 recommend!

I have known Olivia for 30+ years. She loves dogs and is a very caring and conscientious person. She would be a very good fit to be a pet sitter as she has had dogs over the years and always been a great pet parent. I feel she would take care of the dog clients like her own and it would fulfill a need in her life, since her dog just passed away a year ago. If she lived in the same town as I, I would definitely hire her through Rover.

Schedule

I work from home full-time, which means your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. My home office is "dog-friendly," and I love having a furry coworker at my feet (or on the sofa!) throughout the day. What a day with me looks like: • Constant Supervision: Because I’m at my desk, I can offer frequent potty breaks and immediate attention whenever your pup needs it. • Structured Breaks: I use my lunch and mid-afternoon breaks for neighborhood walks, games of fetch, or just some quality backyard time. • Active "Face Time": I don't just sit in another room; I enjoy the companionship of dogs while I work. Whether your dog prefers to nap quietly nearby or needs occasional head scratches between my meetings, I’m here for it. • Flexible Needs: If your dog has a specific medication or feeding schedule that requires midday attention, my WFH setup makes that easy to accommodate.
