About: I have had a dog ever since I can remember and I am 69 yrs old. I have TIME and am reliable, because I am retired. I made sure my kids grew up with a dog and now they have my grand dogs which I love to babysit. I lost my last dog (he was 14) in 2018 and I knew I was going to retire (and travel) in 2021 so now I have my grand dogs and all my friends dogs to babysit and get my fix. I also have volunteered for Path of Hope rescue since I retired. I have a medium sized doggie door out to a wonderful patio and yard fully fenced with 6 ft high vinyl fence. I love dogs so much. They are just the most loving, gentle, and FUN animals put on this earth. I am a walker, so all dogs that stay at my house get walked everyday, with a ton of love and affection. I am going to start Rover on Jan. 2026!!!! I am retired, so I would love to walk your dogs during the day for you. (I am a daily walker anyway :) so why not?) If they stay with me, my home is perfect with a fenced yard, medium sized doggie door (but I do love and will have larger dogs too) and they will get a lot of love and attention. While I prefer crate trained dogs, it does not mean they would be in their crate during the day unless you say it is needed if I leave the house. If not crate trained I would be okay if they are a very well trained dog :) My home is just me, so dogs will get that one on one attention. I am retired so I can accommodate any feeding/walking schedules that are needed.

I work from home and have one dog who I walk daily. Most of my time is spent with my dog and if your dog stays with us, they will be with us all day. I do live in an apartment, however, I am active and attentive so I can provide a lot of activity outdoors or spend time with your dog indoors if that’s what they prefer.

I've worked at an animal clinic, volunteered with dogs and cats at many rescues including Mutts and Meow Rescue and Hidden Gem Pet Rescue, and worked at a dog daycare. I had a Cocker spaniel named Bella growing up, and currently have a golden retriever mix named Indy and two kitties named Misty and Callie. I enjoy walking, giving many pets, treats and doing tricks with dogs! I am dependent and on time, have flexible availablility, and have experience with animal emergencies and medications. About: I have experience in dogs when it comes to what they can and can't eat. I have experience when it comes to medicine And a lots more. I know to be cautious around other dogs and people. I know not to let them chew on things they shouldn't chew on. I know not to let the eat things off the ground. I know to let them warm up to you first so they aren't scared of you or aggressive to you. I know that they gotta go outside very often so they can use the restroom and play and run off some energy I also know that dogs love toys to play with and even when we play with them and show them love and attention.
