About: I’ve been fostering pets for SCRAPs for the past two years, but having those little squirts living at my house 2-3 weeks at a time was getting to be a bit much! I’m mostly interested in doing this so I can have more dog time with a little less responsibility, haha! My forever babies are a black cat named Jet and a border collie named Zo, both rescues. The kitten will pretty much stay out of the way of the dogs (she thinks she’s too good...hah!) but my dog is the friendliest girl. She’s high energy, so I’m quite used to long walks and games of fetch. If your dog seems tireless, I have plenty of experience there! If you have any questions, please let me know!

About: We have dogs, snakes, and at rehabilitating a baby squirrel! We have kept many different pets for the past 10 years and love caring for all animals! Even the grouchy ones 😊 Our dogs eat at 12:30 and at 6:30 each day with frequent trips outside. They are friendly and we keep them trained to eat only out of their own bowls. Pet care is daily life in our home (with my spouse) and we both take pride in our relationships with animals I will frequently check for assent amongst pets to ensure safety and wellbeing. If animals need to be separated, we live in our finished basement and work upstairs, making it easy to both separate and engage with all the animals frequently. Any instructions will be religiously followed. I am getting my masters in behavior analysis so I am ALWAYS aware of the dynamics of our animals and animal guests!

About: As someone who works online, my hours are completely flexible and can be done most anywhere. I use this to my advantage as a pet-lover. It means I get to be surrounded by pets as much as I can, and as someone who cannot have their own dog, I cannot express how fulfilling and heartening it is for me to do so. About: I’ve always had dogs and have such a soft spot for rescues. I own 2 dogs myself who I spend a lot of time exploring, walking, playing, and training with. I am currently attending grad school 2 days a week and working part time in the evenings. With my own dogs, I typically go on a long morning walk in nature and shorter evening walks in our neighborhood. I’m very flexible! I live in a spacious home with a large yard. The dogs are always supervised and when not, they are separated and/or crated. I always monitor dog body language to ensure only safe and appropriate interactions occur.

About: Animal lover since I was little, I’ve had personal and professional experience caring for a wide range of animals. From reptiles, bunnies, guinea pigs, dogs, and my favorite-cats, I’ve seen it all. Aspiring to work in the veterinary world, I will always treat your fur(or scale!) friends as my own. Spending time with animals is truly one of my favorite things to do and seeing them happy and healthy is always my number one goal! “Julissa did a wonderful job caring for my two dogs! She was able to provide oral medications and insulin shots, as well as feed them on a schedule. I received many pictures and videos of the dogs, and it was clear that they were happy and well cared for with her. She communicated quickly and was able to work with my schedule. “I’m so thankful for Zachary and his wife! Our Luna has been a bit depressed since her stroke a few years ago but after coming home from doggy daycare with them she way spunky, happy, and is even spending more time outside with a smile whereas it was difficult to get her to enjoy much time outside before as she would want to go back into the house or wouldn’t leave the back porch much. I’m so happy to see her rolling in the dirt and playing now. This means the world!!! She requires a lot of care and they did an excellent job even wrapping her foot really well and keeping it protected. We will definitely be going back and I look forward to her having another fun visit in the future. Thank you both so much and we will see you soon!”
