Your best friend deserves the best! I am a lifelong animal caretaker and pet parent, with 5 years of professional experience caring for all kinds of animals in two of our local shelters and 3 additional years of providing in-home care to all kinds of pets. I am comfortable with all ages, breeds and sizes of dogs, as well as most medical and behavioral needs. I'm especially good with setting anxious and timid dogs at ease and earning their trust with my familiarity with dog body language. I cared for all kinds of dogs and cats in the shelters with every personality and quirk under the sun! I am Fear-Free certified and have also completed a 16-hr course in canine neuroscience. As for the little guys, I am familiar with care of rabbits, reptiles, fish and rodents. I can accept beginner-friendly birds. With my love for animals of all kinds, I know just how important it is to find great care! Let me take off the stress when you need to leave your furry family members at home.

I work part time Monday through Friday, usually in 5-hour afternoon shifts with one 8-hour day weekly (typically Mondays). I am a student taking quarterly classes, so my availability for weekdays changes every few months. I will do my best to keep my profile updated. Thank you!

Abigail is everything you could want in a dog sitter. She looked after our dog for 3 weeks and gave regular updates throughout. From the meet and greet I could see how well she understood dog behavior and was able to determine how best to integrate my nervous/clingy dog into his new environment. Highly recommended.

Abigail is a truly stellar catsitter. She did everything we asked, including medicating one of the cats daily and walking him on his leash and harness, and was top-notch about communicating with us and sending photos of the kitties during our trip. It’s no wonder even our shy cat warmed up to her after a few days; I think Abigail made both cats feel very comfortable and well cared for. She’s terrific!
Abigail provided lovely drop-in care for my three kitties (to be clear, adult kitties). She followed instructions well and communicated extremely well! Thanks Abigail!
