“Malvi and Andrej are fantastic sitters. For each and every dog, they take a personalized approach that is rare to find in many boarding environments. They have a safe and spacious backyard and home for hosting pups that’s so conveniently located right in DC. I’m a nervous dog mom, but have zero worries leaving my dog Benny in their care. Most importantly, Benny thrives in their home and it’s easy to tell that they care for him as their own. You really can’t do better, book them now!!”

“This was my puppy’s first time with a sitter but Christian was awesome easing his anxiety and taking great care of him. She’s very responsive, reliable , and extremely patient ! I’ll definitely be using her again.”

“Akeem was super attentive! Though Leo was only with him for daycare, Akeem sent a bunch of pictures and videos of Leo having a great time. Akeem's pups were super friendly, his backyard was a big plus, and he was super flexible. Leo came home exhausted and seemed to have been very comfortable!”

“Aaron & Paweena were great and accommodated me so last minute! My sweet boy can be a bit nervous at first when it comes to settling in but he had such a great day and was absolutely exhausted by the end of the day! I came back to him chewing on a treat they gave him & he barely acknowledged me picking him up lol this won’t be my last time booking!”

“Rita was absolutely amazing with my dog, Natalie! Natalie can be reactive and typically needs time to adjust to new environments and people, but Rita went above and beyond to make sure she felt comfortable and supported. She took the time to really understand Natalie’s needs, triggers, and what makes her happy, which made such a difference. I really appreciated the regular photo updates and how communicative she was throughout—checking in, asking thoughtful questions, and keeping me reassured the entire time. It’s clear Rita genuinely cares and puts in the extra effort, and because of that, Natalie had a great experience. I’m so grateful and would absolutely book with her again. Thank you, Rita!”
“Josefa took special care of Indy and treated him with lots of love! She was very quick at responding to me and sent lots of pictures. I would definitely book again with her!”

“Simply phenomenal! This was the first time we've had to leave Ollie for the whole day so we wanted to be sure he was left in good hands. I've been on the sitter side many times before but this was the first time we've left one of our dogs with someone other than family. We could not be happier or more grateful! Catie was extremely communicative, gave multiple picture and video updates, and Ollie clearly had a blast playing with Catie's dogs! So glad to have found such a loving, attentive sitter we can feel so comfortable leaving our pup with :)”

“I’m so glad I found Charei on Rover. She took excellent care of my girl Cassie and ensured she got her midday dose of medication. I received pictures of Cassie and Gemma on their walk and feedback throughout the day I felt confident Cassie was in good hands.”

About: Hi I’m Jess and I am very much a “dog person”. I was an active dog sitter on Rover for four years, before adopting my own dog, Max, and taking a break from new clients. Max is very friendly with other dogs and loves having new friends come to stay with him! Whether you’re just too busy and need some help during the day or are going out of town, I’m happy to care for your furry best friend. I’ve had dogs my entire life and started pet sitting when I was in middle school. I’ve also successfully fostered 13 dogs! I’m hoping to cross 20 this year. I work from home and I have a camera in my living room to check in on the dogs if I step out for a few hours. I’ll be sure to send you pictures and updates while you’re away. Looking forward to talking to you and caring for your pets! I work from home and have my own dog. We go on 2-3 walks a day and try to find time to adventure to a park or winery on the weekends! I have an unfenced yard and live in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of great streets to sniff. Dogs who are safe to tether are welcome to spend supervised time in the yard with me while I garden. If your dog likes dog parks, I’m happy to take them to the Woodridge Park down the road! When I’m not home, dogs are crated and supervised with a camera. They will never be left more than 4 hours. My own dog gets oral meds and eyedrops daily, as well as IC injections monthly, so I am comfortable with medication.
“Joey did a fantastic job to take great care of my 7-year-old labrador who had a bit of separation anxiety. I am so grateful with Joey to accept the last minute request after a brief meet up. I would love to use his services again and highly recommend him. Thanks again Joey for your flexibility and patience with Meimei!”

“Angela was easy to schedule, responsive, and asked appropriate questions to confirm Fig’s care needs during her stay. She was patient with our dog’s nervous tendencies”

About: Hi there! I'm a dog-mom of an energetic boxer, Gus. Gus is my first dog, but from a young age, I always walked dogs in the neighborhood. As an adult, I had over 4 years of experience with doggy roommates. I have experiences with many different personalities and sizes so I'm very comfortable with them. I am very active and love taking long walks or light jogs, just like your pup! Gus is also an excellent walking buddy who is good on the leash. I work from home Monday through Friday 9:00-5:00, so it's very easy for me to pop out before work, lunchtime, it after work to take a long walk. About: I have experience fostering a puppy and volunteering at dog shelters, where I regularly take dogs out for walks and give them loving attention. “Thank you for taking care of our baby! Nicole was great - patient with Ethel, who was a little anxious. If we are ever looking for a sitter near DC again, we will absolutely reach out again!”

About: I've had dogs since I was a kid and enjoy training dogs and puppies as a hobby. You'll be pleasantly surprised to find your dog understands a new command after staying with me for a few days! I currently work from home most days, so I've taken to this as a way to brighten up my day and help folks in the neighborhood with their pet needs. I am reliable, consistent, and follow owner's care instruction to the letter. I also take on a limited amount of clients to ensure that your pet gets quality care.

Lottie enjoyed her time with Alicia and Hazel! She arrived tired, since we’ve been on the road, but each afternoon, when we picked her up, Lottie was ready to go again! I knew it was a great fit when I walked Lottie to Alicia’s the 2nd day- she bounded up the steps with tail wagging!

Melanie did an amazing job caring for my dog, Milly, for daycare! Milly has severe separation anxiety, but she seemed very comfortable with Melanie. Melanie took Milly on multiple walks throughout the day and sent great photos of her. very grateful for Melanie's help.

Jules was great with my dog, Quill. She was responsible in scheduling a meet and greet to ensure he was comfortable in her space and around her roommate’s cat. And she sent lots of pictures while he was with her that showed how at ease he was with her in her space. I’d happily recommend Jules to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to watch their pet!

Wonderful experience! This is my first time leaving my fur baby with June and she didnt disappoint. She gave my senior pup, Snapple, plenty of cuddles and attention all day. And I absolutely love the amount of pics and videos June sent during her stay to make me feel comfortable as a dogmom :-). I highly recommend!
