“We LOVE having Kacie watch our cat Roo. She is so patient and genuinely loves our cat. It makes going away such so easy knowing than someone truly cares about your animal. 100% recommend having Kacie watch your pet!”

“I highly recommend Melissa. She is dependable and kind. She keeps you informed every step of the way and this makes vacationing with animals a pleasure. Thank you Melissa!”

“Marisa went above and beyond during her check-ins with our strong-minded Stella. She came the day before the first check-in to meet Stella and made a big effort to get to know her and connect with her. Stella now counts Marisa as one of her best people. We very much appreciated the pictures, videos and reports. It gave us peace of mind to enjoy our time away knowing Stella was happy and taken care of. We highly recommend Marisa and look forward to the next time.”

“Highly recommend Katherine! In addition to being reliable, a definite "pet person", her communication was fantastic - and she takes great pictures! Our cat tends to get "mad" at us when we travel - because of Katherine's daily interaction with him, I felt he would be ok and not be upset and sure enough when we returned he was his same self and not mad at all! I will hire Katherine again asap - she's a true pet-lover and also a great person - can't say enough positive things about her!”

“Holly M. is amazing! She is the best pet sitter I have ever hired. It is very clear how much she loves animals and how much mine love her. My dog is initially apprehensive around new people, and Holly knew exactly how to handle it. She is so friendly and easy to work with, and she is reliable, trustworthy and she goes way above and beyond. Lulu can't wait to see her again! I 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

“Vincent was a very attentive sitter and took great care of our cats. One of our cats got sick while we were away. He was in close contact with us regarding his condition and also reached out to our vet to get their advice. I can highly recommend him as someone who can be trusted to look after your pets as he would his own. I wouldn’t hesitate to use him as a sitter again.”

About: I am a trained pastry chef, and have worked in the industry for over 15 years. As much as I love working with food, animals are my heart. With my business degree, I have decided to start my own dog walking business and I absolutely love it! I have been doing it full time since August '23. Experience: I have three labs of my own from 4 to 12 years old, and two indoor cats. I'm very active and love walking my dogs, taking them for hikes, cooking for them, and all around making sure they're happy. I currently have several client's pups that I walk multiple times per week, sporatically, or while they're on vacation. Please send me a message with details about your needs so we can chat more! I have several years of experience of volunteer dog walking from the SPCA. I earned a Pet First Aid and CPR certification through the RECOVER Initiative (Reassessment Campaign on Veterinary Resuscitation), created by Cornell University of Veterinary Medicine. I am a dog walker full time, though I limit the amount of clients I take on so that I can be flexible and available for the ones I have. Currently, I am looking for a few additional long term relationships with pups and their parents who need routine pet care M, T, W, Th and/ or Friday, at least 1 day per week. I service within a ten mile radius of Westbrook, including Old Saybrook, Essex, Clinton, Killingworth, Old Lyme. I tend to take care of pets from 8 am to 5 pm, but am available later or earlier at times, and on weekends on occasion for my regular clients if need be. I am very flexible when it comes to overnights and extended stays for regular clients, and am usually available with plenty of notice. Ask me about me about my *special* routine client rates! Can't wait to hear from you! Every pup and kitty has their own, individual personality/ways of communicating and I am here to take the time to understand them from your perspective, while over time learning from them as well. I value consistency and trust building with animals, and am looking forward to gaining a friendship with a member of your family. When it comes to walks, I am most comfortable using a harness if they tend to be pullers, and if they are, will work with them using gentle, verbal and reward oriented methods I've found effective on my own dogs.

About: I've taken care of small and medium dogs since I was in high school. I have some experience with senior dogs. Walking, bathing, playtime, snuggles During the week I am working from 9a until 1p. And I am available both Saturday and Sunday for boarding your pet in my home. I have a spacious ranch style house and 3 friendly kitties. We have a spare bedroom for your pet to have a private, comfortable stay

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I have 2 dogs now - one senior who is slow and needs lots of care and the other is young and active. I’ve watched and walked dogs for friends and family for the past 20 years. I’d love to help you with your family’s furry friend. I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I’m generally home on the weekends and love to take my dogs for long walks every day. I am available to come let your dog out, take your dog for a walk or jog, or whatever else is needed during the day.

About: Hi there! I’m Nicole, and I’m so excited to welcome your dog into a safe, loving, and active environment. As a proud rescue dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pup like their own. I work from home full-time and have a very flexible schedule, so your dog will get plenty of attention, playtime, and love throughout the day. Whether your pup prefers long walks, runs to burn off energy, or just a cozy nap by my side, I’m here to meet their needs. I’m happy to accommodate your dog’s preferences when it comes to being around other pets—my own rescue is friendly and well-socialized, but I can also keep them separated for comfort and safety if needed. What I Offer: ✅ Walks, runs, and active play ✅ Home all day—never left alone ✅ Flexible with special instructions or routines ✅ Comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels ✅ Safe, calm environment with the option to interact with my friendly rescue—or have their own space I truly love dogs and would treat yours like family. Whether you need daycare, overnights, or just someone to help them get their steps in, I’d love to connect! Let’s chat and see if we’re a great match! Pet care is naturally woven into my everyday routine. I’m home full-time, so I’m able to give pets my full attention throughout the day—from morning walks to mid-day potty breaks, playtime, and evening snuggles. I love staying active, so I’m always up for a walk or run, and I enjoy making sure dogs get the exercise and interaction they need. My own rescue dog has taught me how important consistency and care are, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule to fit each dog’s unique needs and routine. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, my top priorities are safety, comfort, and keeping your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. In my home, I provide a calm, clean environment where dogs can feel at ease, with plenty of space to relax, play, and get love and attention. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions you provide—feeding schedules, medications, crate training, etc.—and I always keep dogs supervised and secure. If I’m in your home, I treat it with the utmost respect and make sure your pet feels safe and stress-free in their familiar space. I’ll stick to your routines, send updates and photos, and make sure they get the exercise, affection, and care they deserve. Every dog is different, and I always do my best to meet them where they are—whether that means long walks or extra snuggles on the couch.

About: What sets me apart from other dog sitters is my hands-on experience and deep understanding of canine care. I’ve worked in a professional kennel, which gave me valuable insight into dog behavior, health, and daily routines. At home, I care for my own large German Shepherd, so I’m comfortable handling big, high-energy breeds. I’ve also regularly watched my sister’s dog and other dogs, both short-term and for extended stays, so I know how to create a safe, comfortable environment that feels like home. My combination of professional and personal experience means your dog will be treated like family—with structure, love, and attention tailored to their needs. After working with animals and having my own dog I wanted to incorporate that into my life, so I have plenty of time to hang out and take care of your puppies. I am available throughout the day and would love to spend time with your loved ones! I have a very friendly German shepherd at home, who you are more than welcome to meet, and I walk him multiple times throughout the day and your dog will be able to join us. I also have a crate if you want your dog to be in the crate I also have the ability to do that.

About: I’ve had a dog since I was 6 years old, ranging in all different sizes. I find it imperative to treat all dogs as if they were my own. I’m currently a full-time fourth grade teacher who is looking for a part-time job during the week days, weekends and whenever I have a holiday break. Currently I am available for drop in visits or dog walking during the week anytime after 4. However I am free for both of these services at anytime on the weekends. I will certainly have more days and hours available during school breaks, as I will not be working. I have a fenced backyard with one Labrador retriever. He is friendly and always makes me smile! I love taking him on walks, however he is still learning how to walk. So I am very patient and understanding!

About: Hi There, My name is Christina. I was a micro farm manager for four years. I grew up surrounded by animals in the litchfield hills on a miniature horse farm.💙Maremma mom forever. I have years of sitting experience with elderly dogs and medical needs. I also have grooming experience. Some minor professional dog training experience and lots of time and success with anti-social/aggressive dogs. It's more than just loving animals. It's dedication and intelligence about their care, habits, and nature. It's being sensitive and aware of them at all times. It's experience and passion. I haven't lived a day that isn't with and about animals. As an artist and a real estate agent, my schedule is entirely my own. It's whenever is needed for my clients. Even if it's just a quick visit, I can make it happen! It's important to get a full profile understanding of my client and their pets so that when they are in my care, I can give them a seamless experience from their owners to me. The most important goal of caretaking is to offer true relief to my clients. Personally, I can hardly be separated from my Koda, so it's beyond clear to me the significance of having a caretaker who listens, remembers, and that is undeniably trustworthy.
